My wife applied for Study Permits via the new portal and we intend applying as a family of 3 including myself and our 1 year old baby.

Since we intend applying as family we presented all our documents for her study permit application and we indicated that we are applying as group, family of 3.
But because of the application payment we couldn’t pay ourselves with our Naira account, so we hire Pay4Me to help us with the payment not knowing that after the payment it will automatically submit our application.And we were yet to fill the column for myself and our baby.

We got an approval response yesterday for my wife.Please how do we proceed with the application for myself and our baby, since my wife is the principal applicant? Is there a way we can continue with the application on her dashboard or are we supposed to start a new application for myself and our baby.Please here is my phone number 08063771773 incase there’s anyone who is willing to help.

Congrats on your wife’s approval.

You’ve to start new application for you and your baby, since you’re applying for Sowp for yourself you can’t use the new portal, you’ve to open account on gckey.

Also you don’t have to wait until your wife travel. I’ve seen ppl defer der admission just to travel together with der family. People also apply before der spouse travel so they can all move together. It all depend on how you package your application.

Just work on your home tie, pof and strong SOP. I will upload a template, you can edit that to your situation.

I just login to my portal and I went through everything, all is legit. But when I tried to ask another travel consultant about it and he said that, for Nigeria their are alot of backlogs delay due to enormous of people sending in their applications and also depends on the type of Visa. Is that excuses legit?

I’ve seen visit, study, PR, close n spouse work permit. It’s rare for stamping to exceed a month, black logs can’t be a good excuse, it’s over 5 months. The only situation I’ve seen delay, applicants that got PFL due to false documents or misinterpretation, reason I told you to check your portal. I will advise you go to vfs yourself, let them produce your passport, maybe they’ve misplaced it sef. Go there, this matter dn pass mails and calls.

I didn't have access to my portal, it was my agent that did it for me but when I tracked it, it under processing at the vfs.

Did you or your agent falsify any document? That’s why I’m saying check your portal, request for your login detail n check yourself.

You still need consent form. The documents listed are all you need either you’re using courier or submitting in person.

Anytime I sent mail to them for my passport, it usually says still under processing and please I wanna know if anyone is experiencing such delay on his/her passport collection on here. Mine is over 5 months now since I submitted to ircc but the vfs says that they don't determine the time processing that it's ircc that does that and when it's done they will reach out to me. And the type if the visa is TRC.

I’ve not seen passport stamping take that long. TRV or TRC? I feel something is wrong, that’s way toooo long.

POE questions are what you filled in your application, it’s nothing serious.

Make hotel reservations incase you’re asked wer you’ll be staying during your trip. Return ticket shows your intent to return after your trip, so I will recommend it. It’s possible you won’t be asked but to safe, I will advise it.

It’s over 5 months you submitted your passport for stamping, that’s way to much o. Maybe you should go to vfs center to confirm what’s wrong or send mails and Webform to ircc office. Also check your portal incase you’re requested to do something. It’s strange

I need an advice, my partner applied for Canadian tourist visa in 2022 and the application took over a year to be out, she has been issued 3years tourist visa but she is currently nursing a baby now and she can't travel on holiday without our baby, can anyone advice on how we could apply for a tourist visa for our baby? She should apply for the baby, use her account. After submitting, she should send mails and Webform for the application to be expedited because she can’t leave her baby behind.

Hello guys, I'm new on here and I need your help and views on my TRC. I did my biometric December 19th 2022 and passport request letter came out 27th December 2022. Then I submitted my passport to DHL to Ircc for Visa stamping on 16th of January 2023 and I got email on 19th January 2023 from vfs that my passport as being received at the ircc Abuja office and it under processing. So ever since then I haven't received back my passport and anytime I track my passport it's same message still under processing. Can anyone tell me why my TRV is taking this long?

I can’t list all but will give important points.

*All documents related to the conference
*Document to proof your employment / business
*Proof of fund (6 months or 1yr)
*Good SOP (this will cover why you’re going for the conference, how it related to ur job or business n the benefit)
*Properties, Investments.
*Family ties.

Any document you feel will boost your home tie include it.

Biometrics last for 10yrs. U won’t need any for now.

Hello Everyone, please I need your suggestions on this.

My sister applied for visior visa for my mum since August 17,2021. IRCC announced all applications should re-apply which we did on Aug 17, 2022 up till now there hasn’t been any updates or changes on the application. Then my sister was about to have birth when she applied for her and we mentioned she will be staying for 3months.

So we thought she should do medical so as to speed up the application but we just read it that if staying less than 6 months in Canada you don’t need medical. Now her appointment is tomorrow at IOM, please what did you think would this have any effect on the application if she do medical or it doesn’t mean??

Medical doesn’t count.

Start sending loads of emotional mails and Webform. Your sister in Canada should reach out to her MP, that will go a long way.

I did my biometric in Abuja. I also DHL it to Abuja. The tracking id they sent to my email after my biometric is show nothing. Although have just sent them another email now. I hope they respond this time.

Job, business, assets, investments, if they’ve der own family can include that too. If they’re adult, they should include der personal bank statement to show they’re doing well financially.

It was a long process, but finally the wait is over. A passport request email popped up today, June 13, 2023, for my wife.

Timeline:
Biometrics on file since October 2016
Application submitted: December 2021
BVL: April 29, 2023
PPR: June 13, 2023

IRCC can make BP go up. Since the BVL came out on April 29, I didn’t send them a single PPR-related communication or reminder. I just allowed them to suit themselves

Anyway, until this morning, my wife was unaware that I applied for her.

I wish you guys more success stories.
