You’ve to wait for a decision, someone here didn’t see visa documents on the tracker and still got ppr. Just stay positive!

Send them a mail if it’s possible, thou I’ve not heard of emergency submission before, it’s stated you should only book flight after your passport is stamped. If you need your passport stamped asap, send to Abuja and pay for courier service.

It’s possible to convert to close work permit but it’s not easy. You’ve to get a job with LMIA, your employer must the ready to sponsor you, that’s d hard aspect.

This one hard o. Maybe you should check for counterfoil online and compare with yours.

Ircc isn’t predictable, nobody can give a sure answer. Just wait till you hear from there.

Sorry to hear that but in my own case i didn't drop address, i only paid for transmission fee at vfs lagos. They took passport to abuja and returned back to lagos

I was stressed Mehn. I already paid for the courier, I’m expecting delivery early next week.

You just have to wait, I don’t think ders anything like fast tracking stamping.

This is why I advised sending to Abuja if you need asap stamping.

How did u book ur flight

I booked on the airline website. If you want to pay in naira you’ve to use website like wakanow. If you’ve access to card for int’l payment, book directly on the airline website it’s cheaper.

I will jejely walk-in submit my passport and when is ready for pick up I will also do the same, me that I can wait since 2021 and even gotten bvl and visa on tracker since April 29 no PPR yet nothing will make me rush to submit my passport to Abuja lol

It’s because I’ve booked my flight. I’m seeing ppl that submitted in Lagos over 3weeks still complaining no update. Abuja stamps within a week, na just the extra charges.

I just got back from Lagos vfs, stressed and disappointed. I chatted with vfs customer service before I went if it’s available in Lagos or not because I sent mine to Abuja. I thought vfs Abuja will send back to lagos since that was the address I dropped. After i wasted 10k on tfare and waited over 3hrs, I was told my passport is in Abuja. I can either pickup there or pay for courier service.

Weigh your option before sending to Abuja, they stamp very fast but na money.

Make I go sleep n pray lapo approve my loan so I can pay vfs courier service 😭😭😭

Study visa processing time is now 7weeks n I’ve seen many decision in 2weeks. Ircc isn’t predictable thou buh study & work application r given priority.

Yes, I got a mail from Abuja vfs. I think lagos vfs operate differently. You’ve nothing to worry about, just plan 1-2wks for the whole process.

If she’s applying after wedding, it’s fine. Just included the documents I stated earlier.

If she’s applying before wedding, you can’t apply as a married spouse then. You can try common in-law route. What you need is proof of relationship n also proof that you’ve bn staying together for a year.

Read about common in-law on ircc website. I will attach a YouTube link, you can watch for better understanding.

I don’t really understand that visa category, I guess u meant Spouse open work permit. Well you can apply, just back it up with pictures (early relationship days, dates, wedding) evidence along with your marriage certificate.

'We received the information you sent us. We’ll review it and let you know if we need any other information from you.'

Please note that I didn't upload any additonal documents, my eligibility has not started and my background check is still in progress? Did anyone experience same? Does this mean PPR will be out soon? This anxiety is a lot o. lol

The documents are probably the ones you uploaded with your application and it doesn’t mean anything. Background checks will run until your passport is stamped. The important aspect is eligibility, once it’s completed you can expect a decision. It will end in praise.

It means it has bn sent to Abuja for stamping.

Passport is stamped but background still in progress. And application on the tracker still in progress! What does that mean ?

Once passport is stamped forget anything else. Leave them to update their portal/tracker wen they’re less busy.

If you don’t have much time, send your passport to Abuja for asap stamping.

My passport got to Abuja vfs last week Thursday, I just got a message it’s available for pickup in Lagos. Everything took just a week.

Just include your Biometrics request letter. Some ppl don’t include it n still get der passport stamped.
