Only ircc can answer this, it’s possible you get bvl and ppr immediately. My eligibility was passed March 9, I got bvl April 28. Send them mails and Webform. Target lagos and Abuja.

The most unbelievable thing happened today, I sent my passport together with my sons passport to the vac and they returned my passport without a visa. What kind of work is the IRCC doing ? I am just in shock! Now i have to engage with them all over again, i am so tireeeeeeed of them!

Passport photocopy, write your tracking number on it. Go early, don’t wait until 12. Ppl can be up to 300.

Yes. Scroll up, you’ll see the procedure if you want to use Abuja. If you’re sending to Lagos, just change address n no need for transmission fee if you dd ur biometrics der.

Between in person passport submission and sending through DHL which is one advisable and cost effective. ?

Abuja is faster buh not cost effective, you’ll have to pay transmission fee if you didn’t do your biometrics der n also you’ll have to pay for delivery fee unless you want to pickup yourself in Abuja.

For Lagos submission and pickup is free but the process can take time, let say 1-3wks.

I was thinking if I can apply for SOWP or be patient instead?
If yes, what are the requirements?
Are POF/home ties requested for SOWP?
How long does SOWP take?

It’s the same document, you’ve to prove home tie and good pof.

Sowp is prioritize, new application are processed on Ottawa. Only ircc can give answer on processing time, but it’s faster than vv.

Since eligibility has started on vv application, send mails n Webform. Reach out to MP, they help a lot.

You can’t use courier for two ways. You can only use courier for taking it to vfs. You’ve to pay vfs if you want home delivery.

I was gonna ask you, why didn't you apply for a SOWP instead of your VV since your spouse is there or you intend to FLAGPOLE?
Also i think a single applicant can have a VV and SOWP Applications/Visas simultaneously....

Before I applied vv was faster, my colleague got his within a month. Also flagpole or in land application to Sowp is not that difficult, I just settled for vv. It was after I applied i saw vv was neglected. The month I wanted to apply for Sowp, eligibility started on my vv application. I just felt let me wait, I don’t want to waste 250 cad.

I felt really bad for not applying for vv n Sowp simultaneously, I blamed myself for months. Information is key, thank God the wait is finally over.

I don’t understand you, if you meant can you use it to request note for visit visa application, the answer is yes.

I applied for visitor visa on the 23 of feb 2023 and I was approved and sent ppr on the 1st of June without bvl. I submitted my passport on the 7th of June so I’m waiting for courier to return it with my visa.

During my application, I did not apply for my kids thinking they will be granted visa under my application. It was after mine was approved that we got to know that we have to apply for the kids separately which I did on the 6th of June.

My question now is this: how long before they approve their own application?
Also, how long before my passport is returned to me.

Only ircc can give processing time, since it’s kids application and you’ve ppr already. Try to send mail and Webform, let them know you can’t leave your kids behind, the application should be expedited.

For your passport if you sent it to Abuja 1-2wks, if it’s lagos 1-3wks.

She should really focus on home tie (job, assests, investments, business). Any document that will proof she will return after her propose visit. Even though they know she won’t come back, they still want her to prove she will.

Nop, I guess you paid for transmission fee, that’s just a receipt. Ur passport just got to vfs center. Once it’s available for collection it will be clearly stated.

Good, I’m sure your file will get der attention. Also focus on lagos and Abuja. Since eligibility has bn completed, it’s possible your file has bn move to lagos.

Sorry about your refusal. This is very simple to tackle, just declare all refusals in your next application. I’m your sop you cn explain it was a mistake due to negligence.

MP are like local government chairman assigned to help people staying in that local government. The MP I used, my spouse resides in his local government. I’ve drop the postal code, if you can claim any address with that postal code he will help you enquire from ircc the stage of your application.

Just send him a mail explaining your situation and ask for assistance.
