The message will come with a tracking number, u cn track on vfs website. Also vfs will always send update once ders a change.

You don’t need to do anything, they will send to Lagos if the address you provided during submission is Lagos.

I just got my passport stamped (Canada) at Vfs Abuja. I want them to deliver or return the passport to my Lagos address. Can somebody put me through how to book one way delivery courier with Vfs.

Note: This happened because they have stopped 2way courier with DHL. You send to them for stamping through DHL and then book with them to deliver to you through their one way courier services.

Anyone with the experience?

Lagos vfs will contact you once it’s available for collection. You can either pickup at vfs lagos 12-2pm or pay 18,710 for delivery.

Please i need help. the last update on my visitor's visa was on the 19th of April, with background check in progress. Havent heard anything or gotten any update since then. What do i do?

Background check will run till your passport is stamped. The important part is eligibility, once it’s completed you’ll get an update soon. Send mails and Webform.

Ircc want to give me high blood pressure. I submitted my passport last week Wednesday visa dhl, it got to ircc office for stamping on Friday. I was expecting vfs to update me on the stamping, Naso I see “ircc portal” email, I login to my portal and saw “Action required”. Aaaah my spirit almost left my body o. I checked my portal only to see eligibility, background check and final decision has bn updated. Make I go use paracetamol, I dn get slight headache.

How important is the ArriveCAN registration for visitors visa ? It urgent please

It’s not required but you can do it to save time n stress. If you don’t use arrive can you’ll still declare via self service machine.

What I know is if you’ve a job with LMIA you can apply for close work permit. I don’t think there’s different category for visit visa.

You can use dhl to send to Lagos or Abuja. I will suggest you send to Abuja for fast processing thou you’ll pay for transmission fee if you didn’t do your biometrics in Abuja.

Good Morning All,Please is there any difference submitting passport in VFS Abuja compared to VFS Lagos in terms of speed in getting the stamped passport back ? VFS Lagos is open today as said above. Also if one wants it stamped same week as submission, can one send an email or webform because the conference the visa is meant for starts next week Monday meaning one has to leave this weekend. Thank you.

Send to Abuja for fast processing. If you send to Lagos vfs, they’ll wait to gather more passport before they send to Abuja vfs who will forward to ircc processing center. Seems u don’t have much time, you cn do drop off in Abuja and also pickup in Abuja. My passport was delivered to Abuja vfs via dhl on Thursday, on Friday it was already in ircc processing center. Stamping takes 1-2days n sent back to Abuja vfs. So if you don’t have much time go to Abuja.

Webform and mails doesn’t work for passport stamping.

I had to send them a compelling email though, I don't know if it worked or it was just coincidence

But only my PPR came out, still waiting for my wife and child's. My wife's BVL came on April 27, so I guess that's why her ppr is yet to drop. Hopeful to get it in a few days.

Funny thing is, my tracker status still shows "in progress" and I have already received the PPR

I have someone that did biometric and the agent that helped her said she was denied, now the problem is that the agent didn't release any info and his no where to be found.

What this person can do if she wanted to reapply? She doesn't know reason she was denied and no info like UCI or biometric number was released by this agent but the person confirm she did her biometric.

She took a document along with her to vfs to do her biometrics. UCI number is on the document. If she doesn’t have it I can’t really say wat else to do. She should declare her previous refusal in the new application.
