Congrats in advance. Ircc no try at all, over 2yrs to process application. 7 months I’m already losing my cool, the journey isn’t for the weak.

Hubby,son and I were denied US visas in 2019. The trip was supposed to serve as the honeymoon we never had when we got married (same thing we stated when we applied for canada visa for myself and Son).
I just read somewhere up there that we should have stated the reason we were denied e.g home ties... which in all honesty, we can't remember because we were too disappointed to even go through the slip
Someone also mentioned a blue slip but we got a pink slip.

Please, anybody here that has gotten bvl/ppr without stating the exact reason they were denied?

Don’t panic, so far you declared it’s fine. God will perfect everything. When did you apply, have you gotten bvl?

My point was those who got refused after declaring past visa refusals, it’s definitely VO’s mistake not the applicant.

Help us tell ircc to release ppr, flight ticket is not joking o

This is a sample of what he should have stated. He needed to tell them details of the refusal as seen in the attached screenshot.

My brother was refused UK & US Non-Immigrant visa twice respectively. UK banned him for 10 years since 2011 due to agent submitting fake tax clearance in support of his application.

Visa Info updated on tracker - 1st May 2023

I applied in September 2020 as a group. The person that was tagged with me I mean I did biometric immediately after her and our firm and biometric slip was pinned together and we were told to return the slip when passport is requested.
The girl has gotten BVL on April 4 and got PPR on April 14 . She has gone ahead and submitted her passport but I have not gotten message from them.

I'm very confused.

If you’ve received your BVL, use the tracker to confirm if your visa document have bn updated.

Sincerely, i just feel this is a measure to forcefully make you a home tie for your wife whilst only your wife travel to Canada, it doesn't really mean you didn't meet the requirement(s) IRCC is confused lately.

To me i feel they have issued a lot of visas from Backlogs hence trying to randomly issue visas now, you can see a post from a young lady who applied with her parents with over 20 countries visited, but was refused on same note.

This is anomalies and inconsistencies in analyzing Visa applications.

Well it’s true they’re trying to clear backlogs, we need to understand VO are also human like us. If we can make mistakes, they’re not exempted. I don’t agree it’s intentional and a way to reduce application approval.

Many times on study applications, VO miss important document and refuse base on that. Applicant apply for reconsideration and gets approval within a short period. I know it’s a very painful and frustrating situation after waiting for years only for VO to make a ridiculous decision, but we need to understand they’re human.

To all those affected, send mails and Webform, pray and hope the decision is overturn. God help us.

My visa application was rejection this morning because reasons was I was not truthful in my previous visa application rejection which I stated on my application that I was denied a visa at US EMBASSY IN ABUJA. And that's the only visa rejection I have please guys what do I do .

Are you sure that’s the only rejection you’ve? Send Webform and mail for reconsideration, pray and hope for a positive response.

On your tracker do you’ve visa documents? Also when did you receive bvl?

Hello guys. I applied for Canadian visitor’s visa with my wife in November 2022. My wife was scrolling through her mail last night, 3rd of May 2023 then she saw that an email has been sent by IRCC requesting for our Passports for Visa stamping since 15th of December 2022 which is over 4 months now. There’s a part in the mail that says failure to submit Passports for Visa stamping within 30 days of receiving the mail could lead to Visa refusal. Can anyone advise on what to do. Thank you.

Send Webform and mail, a new ppr will be reissued. You can also call vfs if you can submit it like that.

Hello people,

So i submitted an application for a visitor visa alongside my mom and dad last year June ( 16TH June 2022).

Since we submitted the application we are just getting a feedback today for the first time in 11months

For my application it was rejected because the visa officer does not believe that I don’t have any visa rejections in the past ( i have a robust travel history, I’ve been to at least 20 countries in the last 10-15 years, US included), and honestly I’ve never been rejected a visa in the past. My question is, should i appeal the decision and attach all my previous visas ? (I’m honestly not desperate to get the visa but I don’t see the basis of the rejection). Also, i would like to add that every other aspect of my application is fully covered …i.e i have family ties as my husband and daughter will be in Nigeria, i am also fully employed at a government facility and i believe i have attached enough proof of funds.


My mum’s and Dad’s application is still being processed.

Kindly advise.

P.s : we applied as a family because we plan on visiting my brother who is a student in Vancouver.

If you’re sure you’ve not bn rejected visa before. You can try to send a Webform for reconsideration, including all your visas and also write letter of explanation.

But I made a mistake when filling out the form when I traveled to South Africa my point of entry was cape Town.. but my wife filled johnsburg is point of entry.

Sorry about this. My honest suggestion is to wait for the outcome of your application. If it goes well that’s great, if not apply again and this time fill the form yourself and carefully answer all questions correctly.

Am tired sent 2 Web form nothing, my sister Still waiting for the biometrics request letter since April 11 she applied. Don't know next step or email to send.

You can call ircc with viber or if you’ve anyone in Canada to help it’s fine.

These are the steps;
Step 1:
Call this number with the Viber app: +1-800-267-6788, it's ircc client call center number.


Step 2:
Press 1 to use the service in English.


Step 3:
Press 2 to connect to ircc

Step 4: after connection to ircc, you would listen to a message for about 30 seconds just be patient till they tell you the buttons to press. You'll be asked to input your uci number if you have, just to save time press 2 that you do not have a uci. Although when you connect to the client call center agent he/she will ask you to provide your application details which includes application number, uci number and other relevant information.
Point to note: if you're calling in for someone you'll have to fill in the ircc imm5455 consent form.

Step 5:
after step 4, you'll listen another message again like step 4 be patient till they tell you which numbers to press. press 3


Step 6:
after that the next number you'll press is 1 to talk to make enquiry about your study permit application or press 2 to make an enquiry about your PR application.


Step 7: the final number to press is 0 to speak to an agent.

We’re all waiting, I hope they roll out ppr this week or next week.

There’s nothing you can do than to wait for the decision. It will end in praise.

I will advice you reapply and wait. You know this journey, nobody expect from ircc can tell you the wait period.

It’s either the VO made mistake which is rare in cases like this or the person that filled your application made that error. Sorry about this, just submit another application, it will end in praise.
