Do I need to send them a mail that he wants to visit me here in Regina or should I not be bothered about that

It doesn’t matter. What’s important is seeing visa documents updated, with that’s you’re sure PPR is near.

Eligibility completed on the tracker is either pass or failed I think only your GCMS note will explain that.My question now is can you pass eligibility and still be refused? Because I have seen some people here which there biometric and Eligibility completed and still refused them.

Once eligibility is passed it’s rare to get a refusal unless a misinterpretation was found during background checks.

Pls I need advice on what to do.

I and my husband applied last year July. Today we were sent a decision. Mine is still pending but his was refused on the grounds that he did not declare that he had been refused US Visa prior. The day I filled the forms/made the application, I sent a mail immediately that same day stating the error. I have attached a screenshot of what I sent and the emails I sent to. I never received a response but assumed it was received.

Now today he has been denied based on that very same reason. Is there anyone I can write or anything I can do cos this is really heartbreaking. Pls I will appreciate a workable response thanks.

Also I had a baby earlier this year is there anyway he can be added to my application or I will need to apply fresh for him.

Pls someone help me out. Thanks! 💔

So sorry about the whole situation. I don’t think there’s reconsideration appeal for visitor visa application. Try to raise Webform and send mails again, anything can happen. My advice will be to submit another application. For your baby you’ll have an apply for him, use your portal.

Your friend should send a scanned copy of the new passport to IRCC through webform. He or she can do it twice. After that he can send his the new passport to Vfs Lagos (where ever he or she did biometric) through UPS (DHL no longer accept a two way courier). He or she can pay for two way courier.

- Two photocopies of your international passport data page
- Your International Passport itself

-Note the 990 SMS fee is compulsory. Pay it as well to the same account.

Put everything in a Big Brown Envelope,

Write your FULL NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE NO. & Email Address on the Envelope boldly

You may indicate you want a two-way courier service when you go to DHL. Then provide them with the address you want your passport sent to when ready.

Put all the documents below in an envelope and send them to:

-2 duly signed consent forms.

Two way delivery by courier is not longer available! Vfs stopped DHL n UPS from home delivery. If you’re outside Lagos, pay for one way to send your passport to vfs Abuja. The passport will sent back to vfs in Lagos. You’ll then pay vfs in Lagos 18,710 for home delivery to your address.

I don’t think so, on the tracker it’s stated visa number is given when application is approved. So don’t get nervous, start making travel arrangement while we’ll wait for ircc to send ppr.

Once you get ppr, send your passport to vfs in London for stamping.

To those that will be submitting their passport for stamping. Don’t pay for two way delivery, vfs stopped DHL and UPS from doing that.

There’s expiry date on the tracker. Canada gives visit visa according to validity of your int’l passport. Meaning the visa expiry date is when international passport expires.

People apply for Sowp even when their spouse is yet to travel. Other defer admission, spouse apply for Sowp/visa so they can travel together. So I don’t think that will affect anything.

License agent don’t give out login details because they use der details to register for all applicants. You can ask for a screenshot of your portal for update.

This particular application my fear is that the passport used in 2021 has expired last year! No response from ircc since June 2021. On the 30th of April they sent two messages to the gckey
First message was at 4am
While second message was at 4:38am


Have not been able to check due to the agent sluggishness and unwillingness to send gckey log in

Today, another email dropped that “the application status has changed “

So just wondering what happened
If it’s ghost email/update or ppr was sent or refusal

I can’t know for sure until I log in

Buzz the agent to login and give you update. The only way to know the content is to check your portal.

Yes you’ll get a mail notification.

PPR or Refusal will come with a mail notification to check portal. Decision will be seen on the portal.

Yes, but you’ll need a valid reason to use it. Probably get another conference you can attend so you don’t have issue at POE.

The journey can be tiring but be happy you’ve an update. From tomorrow you can track your application for visa documents. Once that’s updated, na celebration remain.
