Consent letter for passport is different from one parent traveling with child.

Put it in an envelope with your passport

Go to DHL or UPS (One way)

You will get tracking ID when VFS gets the package and vfs will give u updates in your email as the passport is moving from one place to the other

Vfs will also send you mail when your passport is ready for collection

To collect your passport, you can either go between 12 to 2pm Monday to friday OR pay 18,710 naira to VFS for vfs to send your passport to you through UPS

the problem is, i've submitted the application and didnt think of this till now. we're going for biometrics tomorrow. i just assumed that since it's a group application, the same VO will review both applications. is there any way to reach out to have the letter uploaded for my husband?

If you’ve submitted no need to worry, most people that submit group application only write one sop n get approval. It will end in praise.

I have one statement of purpose letter that contains details for both my husband and I which i uploaded to only my application as additional document. do i also need to upload this same letter that contains details for both of us to my husband's application as an additional document too?

Anyone you choose is fine. I will suggest you include it in both application, the way some VO miss things isn’t funny.

If you’re in Lagos or Abuja go to vfs and submit it. If you’re outside Lagos or Abuja, pay dhl or ups to send it to vfs Abuja. Reach out to vfs and pay 18,700 for home delivery or pickup your passport at vfs in Lagos or Abuja for free.

Also if you didn’t do your Biometrics in Abuja and send your passport there, you’ll have to pay for transmission fee. If you’re in Lagos n not in hurry. Just take it to Lagos vfs and pickup when it’s ready for free.

When did you send it? Just wait 2-3days you’ll here from vfs.

Me and madam applied in February 2023, Biometrics in March 2023 in Abuja and i got BVL in April 12.

Visa Document number been showing on tracker since April 19th 2023.

The tracker updates only when they work on your application and effect a change (final decision to that stage) in your application.

Yes but there’s general update monthly. If you check your tracker the last update was April 19th. Thou they still update activities.

Just guessing, the first update was on 20th, second update was 19th so I’m hoping the next update will be around 18-20th. I feel the only update for those with bvl n visa document will be ppr.

This week or next week by God’s grace. Also they’ll update the tracker soon. So ppr should drop soon.

I applied sept 2022 I wrote Nairobi office this is the reply I got. So frustrating when those that applied this year have gotten BVL

The only aspect I don’t like about Canada is the application process. Many have bn waiting since 2020, yet they approve people that submitted in March 2023. Na only God sabi how they handle applications. We’ve waited this long, let just chill for few days/weeks. Start planning your trip, that’s will help reduce worries.

The people that got PPR April 12, the four of my friends.... all their Visa counterfoil says LAGOS as issued location.

It's no longer at Nairobi.

My guess was right then. Lagos should do well and send our ppr nah, why the unnecessary suspense nah

It shows issuing country as Nigeria because that’s the issuing country of your passport. Not the visa. Did this MP say anything else? Would be nice of you to share.
