an eye opener. the www isn't as we think.. there are always footprints left behind whenever you log into the www..a case study. any picture uploaded unto a website can be geo referenced using the picture data..this can track where the picture is taken and the IP makes the PC location revealed... nothing is hidden online. its just that our own security agencies are a bit lazy or incompetent or aren't equipped to do such.. imagine gee boys posting PIC of there extravagant spending and the police can't trace them but will be harassing innocent ones doing legitimate jobs.. the level at which the www is going. there will be no privacy anymore... that what makes the difference.. the saving Grace is not to be online at all... anything else ..if they wanna see,catch you. its easy and possible. Well as a former marketer in one of the leading commercial banks, I can confidently tell you that bankers especially marketers are the very set of staffs doing this and this is as a result of pressure to get so many account before the month ends. These marketers haven finished exploiting all possible ways to open the said number of accounts then resort to putting family and friends contact to cover up their lapses and sometimes create random phone numbers.

Meanwhile, this unsolicited account happens most times in banks where work pressure is so high to marketers eg Gtb, FCMB defunct diamond bank

You can ignore the message as you have already mentioned you are not aware of opening such account cos reporting it to the bank especially via email might put the person who opened the account in serious trouble as banks take staff integrity issues very serious and u might be surprise u know the person cos only someone very close to u will have access to ur details

well you can't understand the length at which people can go to have there target met?? maybe you dont know that people can extract your phone number on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.. and match your profile Picture to the account without you knowing.. well its very possible and I can say that these my have been done due to pressure to meet targets..

what I observe is their marketing Staffs may have been opening this account due to the targets given to them to bring more customers or what they do may just be too extract a person's phone number either on Facebook Twitter or Instagram and they match the names with the account that's all. I think is a deliberate attempt to bring customers by Fire by Force by there marketers

no gainsaying that the kidnappings happening all over the country is an act perpetrated by security agencies in conjunction with the Kidnappers.. reason why whenever some rescue missions are to be carried out..the kidnappers get the information in a speed of light and escape with there victims.. the whole security framework of Nigeria is full of sympathizers that are on the payrolls of these evil people.. some of these kidnappers may even be ex service men..because how do they know the terrains in the Forest.. without knowing how to read maps...this is the bane of corruption and nepotism...
