The young people are learning from their elders. They see nothing but lucky people with money, not hard workers with money.

The hardest workers that they see with some discipline and great results are the soccer players, musicians, and even actors/actresses. The rest na small effort, big luck (national position, japa success, fraud, robbery, olosho, etc) or rich family connect tins. light work.

Am in my over half of 30s and even those ones just now dey get the reality of life.

I was quite shocked when I saw their salaries. The firm I work remotely for is British, so it makes sense to earn and spend in Naira. But for me to enter plane and go there to collect that? Impossible. I have one friend in tech, he is probably the only truthful Nigerian in the UK. He says it as it is.

Nna men Na wa o. Well, oil and gas was the raining career till 2015 ish. I don't think anyone considers the oil and gas industry as a viable career path anymore except the persons head is under a rock. Now computer science isnt even easy to get anymore second highest cut off after medicine whereas when I left secondary school they were dashing people the course to do people no wan do.

As in I still dey wonder whether Xavi go coaching school or na old Tiki Taka system wey dey almost impossible to apply in modern day football without major tweaks na him he dey stuck to.

You see low block and a box 18 that's populated with about 7 to 8 players everytime you attack and you still try to be building passes around them. It's gonna be intercepted as there's little space to exploit since almost all critical points are covered in so small space.

This is where long range or outside box shots work perfectly. I just dey shout and curse since the first half they should try shots.
