Please lawyers in the house! I need your advice! Please forgive my typo, My head no carry book like that…

So my story starts from here: Our late father own a house in Lagos, land Measuring 640S/meters with a story building inside plus an Uncompleted building at the back fenced in the same compound.

Now we are 7, 5boys which am the first son, with 2 girls one is older than me, but both female are married, all my siblings are living aboard Except my elder sister n myself. We live in Nigeria!

So, around last year I had Financial issue, I came up with the ideal to sale the Uncompleted building at the back of our house to raise funds, but then I knew I couldn't do this alone, so I contacted my Immediate younger brother told him of my plan, Note the remain of my siblings we don’t talk like that! Some it been years I saw or heard from them! The family had never been together thot.

I then told my younger brother to try and see if he could reach the rest and inform them, at some point after like say 3weeks he told me he had reached out to them and since none of them can help me with funds that I should go ahead to sell.

Please note! I wasn’t selling the whole house, but a cut, a piece of land Measuring about 200sqmer from the full plot which is 640sqmer.

During the time I inform my brother about this, he was still in Nigeria then, so I kept on looking for buyer, when I later find one I could no longer get a hold on my brother! For weeks his number wasn’t Reachable.

Only for him to msg me out of the blue that his now in the UK: I was happy for him in my mind at least he Escaped this Nigeria Economy, I then asked him about what we Discussed n how I find buyer and wanted him to co-sign! He went off line and the next time I hear from one of my siblings again is through my younger brother who is in Canada, he is actually our last born! Now he came with Attacks and I believe Most have spoken with the rest and they made a decision to Intimidate me with Nigeria army…

The army visited where I live and Invited me with them to meet one of their OGA! I believe that was the person my siblings contacted to do the job, to Harass an intermediate me on a property I also had right on.

When we got to where the oga was, it was like a Military bar around my area there at command! The oga was taking sides , they used fan belt on my head while telling me he will Cripple me if I go ahead to sell the house. My siblings already sold me Cheaply to him.

After the Intimidation, the oga handled me to his boys to finish talk with me, they wanted me to write an Undertaking which I reused, after much talk I Realized my younger sister was involved, she wouldn’t have done this herself but with the help of her husband, They both live in the UK.

My immediate younger brother is also in the UK with them, this my sister also knows the way she connects with my Remaining brothers even with my sister here in Nigeria ! The Amry said they will try to speak with them to help me with money after what they did to me!


At this point I do not need any help from them, since it Obvious they are also interested in the property and as the first son it seem that all the money I spent on the house I can’t make Decision on it in the future.

Since this property is the only thing that joins us together, I kind of want my own share of the property, because I see this property becoming a problem in the future and I don’t want to be part of this anymore.

So lawyers in the house, is it possible to Request for my rights through the court? What do u think I should do, I know my case is not first of a kind, so what step do u think the law is going to take since the property is in Lagos, my dad died about 20yrs ago, my mum also died 4years ago! Dad doesn’t have a (WILL) my siblings are my blood same parents.

I just want my share and please the family for them!
