prettymaxy: you are so correct are you from Ugboko? This so called Ned Nwoko that calls himself a prince is the son of the current Obis late sister, she got pregnant for him while in school for a man from a neigbouring village, the late Obi accepted and loved him like a son. He said he wanted to build a factory that will benefit Ugboko people with jobs he was given land to do so by his grandfather the late Igwe, baba go use land build his personal house with large compound. Ok he come again say he want build University give am small he want use levels collect more. I ask is he the only one that has money in that village? Why is Rain oil not oppressing his kinsmen like Ned? If you oppose him he will send his touts and supporters from ugboko and onicha-ugbo to deal with you. He has collected lands from both widows, orphans, poor... Him and his supportes went on to lie to the IGP when invited to Abuja that he has paid the owners of the land and this is a big lie. I know if Obi Nonso is not careful one day Ned will come to snatch the throne from him. Because of this same Ned the Obi has not been given his staff of office
There's this saying I heard in a Yoruba movie,it says that peace is still in a family because the child that is not the man's biological child has not grown up. I wonder if it applies to this Ned Nwoko and Idumuje-Ugboko scenerio.
No am not from ugboko but I watched a program on channels tv last week were ned nwoko's brother and some of his kinsmen were narrating how ned have been intimidating and oppressing them because of land dispute between him and the whole community. His brother even went on to narrate how his uncle sent ned abroad to study law but now instead of ned to give back to the community that made him who he is today he is now intimidating and harrassing the whole community with his influence and billions. If what the brother narrated was actually true then ned is not only an ingrate but also a very greedy and wicked man. The islamic religion he choosed to practice might be making him to take those wicked actions against his own people. In the community were I come from we have billionaires who are single handedly tarring kilometers of roads without making any noise about it u can't try such nonsense in my community no matter who u are it's just the community that is giving him all that freedom and leverage to do whatever he so wishes with them.
madamgrace: Following the turbaning of Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu by the Otaru of Auchi at the Otaru’s Palace yesterday, pastors of the Redeemed Christian Church of God have moved against him by disowning him.
“He is not one of us. We are not like that in the Redeemed Christian Church of God” one of the senior pastors said.
Inform NG can also authoritatively confirmed that efforts by Pastor Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God to reach Osagie Ize-Iyamu over his turbaning in order to seek clarification has so far proved abortive.
Pastor Adeboye who was visibly worried on the negative image the turbaning might have on his ministry has told other pastors of the church to stay away from Ize-Iyamu until there is clarification over the desperate move to turn the Bible on its head.
Other members of Osagie Ize-Iyamu’s church have so far been quiet and unable to speak in public for fear of being suspended from the church for speaking against constituted authority.
Ize Iyamu is obviously trying to pls buhari and his fulani ruling muslim cabals so that they will use federal might to help him win on election day. It's a new trick most apc southern christain politicians are now using to win their elections.
Islie: The team, led by the officer-in-charge of homicide in Delta State Police Command, ransacked all rooms in the palace, in search of weapons as alleged by Nwoko
This man have been intimidating and oppressing his people for quite some time now, how can one man be bigger than his own community because he became a sudden billionaire? What is actually causing this whole problem is land dispute between ned nwoko and his community he wants a very large expanse of lands for his private university and also for a golf course but the whole community have refused to grant him his wish so he now resorts to using his influence to intimate the poor villagers to give up their ancestral lands.
conductor266: The man forged judgement. He took himself to court and won himself, then took police to court for not enforcing the judgement and got judgement same day. The judge that gave the fake judgement is in big trouble. The man himself is wanted for previous unanswered crimes and for breach of national security.
For the person talking blah blah blah below, keep saying what you don't know. If you see the so-called documents he got from court you will weep for Nigerian judiciary systm. So many irregularities and other things. For example he got the judgement for an area and was executing the judgement in another area. The court judgement is so vague and doesn't contain beacon numbers or well-described address of the said place.
The NJC has already started making enquiries on the judge.
Can u imagine Some of our Igbo brothers really have mind oh.

That guy have been destroying the properties in that airport for some time now I don't even know who or what is giving him the mind to continue to vandalize that airport.
The mother have conscience some will even kill the baby. Sex crazy nigerian youths of these days should stop having unprotected sex if they know that they are not yet ready to take care of a baby why bring babies into this wicked nigerian society and later abandon them to suffer?
Hashimyussufamao: Death Sentence For Blasphemy At Kano: A Perspective by O. G. Chukkol
I have been following arguments on social media for the past two days about the death sentence passed on one Yahaya Aminu Sheriff for blasphemy (insulting prophet Mohammed PBH) at Kano.
Let me make few observations here:
1. There is actually a Shariah Penal Code law in Kano state
2. The said Shariah Penal Code makes provision for offences and punishments recognized in Islam
3. The Shariah Penal Code Law prohibits blasphemy and a violator risks death sentence. See section section 382 thereof.
4. The Shariah Penal Code Law of Kano applies to Muslims only
5. The Shariah Penal Code Law of Kano does not apply to non Muslims. So a Christian or any other non Muslim cannot be prosecuted under the law except if he consents to it
6. Sheriff was tried and convicted under the Shariah Penal Code Law because he was a Muslim.
7. Sheriff has the right to appeal to a higher court for his conviction to be reviewed or set aside if the trial court was wrong.
8. Governor of Kano State has the final say on Sheriff's conviction. He can pardon Sheriff and allow him go free or change the punishment or sign death warrant for Sheriff to be executed/killed as ordered by court
9. A non Muslim who insults prophet Mohammed or commits any other form of blasphemy can at best be tried under the general Penal Code law for defamation or breach of public peace or any other related offence depending on exactly what the person says
In view of the foregoing, I will completely refrain from commenting on the appropriateness of death sentence for blasphemy because it is an Islamic injunction entrenched in a written law. Besides, I may not even be objective about it because I am not a Muslim, but a Christian. I will only end up pouring my sentiment in the guise of criticism. To me, is not even logical to use my religion to condemn another religion.
I submit further, for the purpose of emphasis, that the offence of blasphemy applies to Muslims only and they are in support of it. They are comfortable with it because their religion provides for it. I cannot take panadol for somebody's headache
Had it been the offence applies to non Muslims also, I would have immediately condemned it for being unconstitutional.
It should be noted that the Shariah Penal Code was enacted pursuant to section 38 of the constitution which provides for right to freedom of religion and sections 4 and 6 of the constitution which gives states power to make laws and also establish courts for themselves and also section 36(12) which provides that person can be convicted for an offence only if the said offence is defined in a written law with sanctions attached.
That is to say, the Supreme Law of the land has given them backing. They can practice their religion provided that a non Muslim shall not be affected
Let me drop my pen here. Everything I put down here is strictly my opinion and I may be wrong.
Nigeria obviously have foundational problem most developed nations of the world are either mostly practicing muslim, christain or even budist but here in nigeria Muslims and christains have been forced to live together as one people which has made the country to greatly lack cohesion, development and vision. It's very obvious to even the blind that nigeria won't make any progress until the muslim extremist core north is separated from the majority christain south. I don't understand how a governor who was caught red handed collecting bribes on video will not be tried under the same sharia penal law that was used against the kano musician who was accused of blasphemy does it mean that the sharia law is only for poor unconnected northern Muslims?

MASTAkiLLAh: State of the Nation: You have failed, Catholic Bishops tell FG ON AUGUST 11, 20207:00 PMIN NEWS Decry unkept promises of FG on security, corruption, and economic growth
Declare 40 days of prayer for the nation
By Luminous Jannamike
For the umpteenth time, the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Nigeria (CBCN) has expressed their worry over the insecurity ravaging parts of the country.
In the face of this concern, they have declared 40 days of joint prayers against terrorism and banditry.
The Bishops, in a statement issued in Abuja on Tuesday, also decried the pervasive corruption in the land and the nation’s dampening economic outlook.
They, therefore, passed a verdict, saying the Federal Government had failed to keep its core campaign promises of security, corruption eradication, and economic growth.
The statement signed by CBCN President, Archbishop Augustine Obiora, on behalf of all the bishops reads: “We, the members of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Nigeria have been following the recent events in Nigeria closely.
“We continue to hear of increasing insecurity and unabated acts of terrorism in Northern Nigeria. So, we are all tired of this situation.
ALSO READ: State of the Nation: Why we’re returning to trenches — Utomi, Na’Abba, others “We do not want any politician to politicise the killing of Nigerians. There should be one response from everyone, and that is; the killings must stop.
“Our hearts are bleeding, and we are more troubled when we hear of the massacre presently going on in Southern Kaduna. We want all the people suffering the incessant attacks in Southern Kaduna to know that all Catholics in Nigeria are praying for them.
“We call on the Federal and the Government of Kaduna to bring a complete stop to the killing of innocent people. The loss of the life of any Nigerian does not help to further the agenda of any religious ideology or the ambition of any politician.
“The perpetrators of the killings must be brought to justice. Where there is no justice or justice is not seen to be done, there cannot be peace. Where there is no peace, there cannot be development.
“Any Government, State or Federal that wants peace must work for justice for everyone. There will never be sustained development built upon the bloodshed of innocent people brutally murdered by religious fundamentalists without any recourse to justice for the victims.
“We need not remind Nigerians that the present Federal Government came to power, promising Nigerians, the eradication of corruption, a guarantee of security to life and property, and rapid growth in the economy.
“The creation of jobs, and an enabling environment that engenders growth of the private sector; a significant increase in the supply of electricity to Nigerians, affordable and quality health care to Nigerians, and the revamping of the educational sector were the promises the Government continues to make.
“Many Nigerians, irrespective of political party affiliation, will affirm that these promises have remained a far cry. We strongly appeal to Nigerians to unite together in calling the Federal Government to give priority to these areas of our lives.
“To all Catholics, we request that you join in praying for forty days, starting from 22 August 2020 and ending 30 September 2020, the eve of Nigeria’s Independence Day.
“On Independence Day, let us join in praying to start from 12.noon. We appeal to each Bishop to encourage the faithful in his Diocese to participate fully in this prayer for God to save Nigeria.
“Finally, as we pray, we know that God wants us to do what is humanly possible to ensure that there are prosperity and freedom for every Nigerian.
“Let us not harbour hatred for anyone. We must be instruments of forgiveness and reconciliation. We must be on the part of justice for all and peace in Nigeria.
“May God grant eternal rest to all who have lost their lives to the violence in Northern Nigeria and other parts of the country. May God give us the courage to work for justice and peace in Nigeria.”
Nigeria's insecurity situation has gone beyond prayers even the bible stated that prayers without works is dead. The only language that islamic extremists worldwide understands very well is superior fire power and violence nothing else.
It's an open secret that terrorism in nigeria is been sponsored by prominet northern leaders Prof. Obidiah Mailafia is no ordinary nigerian that can just come out to misinform the public he has his image and reputation at stake. A man who have PhD from the University of Oxford is not someone to joke with.
