afrodoc2: Keyamo is a natural born communicator with decades of experience as a trial lawyer. Mickey Mouse journalists don't stand much chance against him.
True, he has some very effective strategy to dealing with the media. ON Arise News show, I think he broke the ice when he accused them of being partisan.
Uncle Shege stylishly admitted it wasn't actually BAT Supporters that are cooking false Info against their Social Media Presidential Influencer? LMFAO
Omo, PDP boys dey cook o, PO and BAT boys were on each other's neck over the controversy, while the culprits dey one side dey watch. No wonder Atiku manages to stay of the mud.
LOL, it's people that believe LP is different from the usual parties I am laughing at, no be same Nigeria here we dey? Egbon Raumdeuter, you have to accept the saving and cleansing power of Saint Obi, he can cleanse every stain, Dariye will soon become a new man.
raumdeuter: BAT people set up appointment on October 1, Obi supporters set the same date and location
What are you looking for if not confrontation
We don't know for sure who scheduled first, but both parties are looking for trouble, and such should be avoided, I think the government of Lagos state should deny both parties access to the toll gate, let it not turn out to violent.
raumdeuter: Like Atiku said, most of the voters are not watching TV or checking their phones. It's either you want to engage the majority or impress the minority
If it was just Lagos State where more engagement is possible through TV then I see the point in him going
Most of those who watch the debates don't even understand what they are watching beyond the soundbites. Didn't you see people mocking the idea of printing more Naira to combat the pandemic like was done in most economies? Or people mocking Agbado and Cassava that they eat daily
True Sha, very few of the population actually know what governance should be like, falling for propaganda and false narratives. But still debates are good for the optics, you can assure your supporters of your capacity through that medium.
raumdeuter: Buhari did not attend and he won Jonathan did not attend and he won OBJ did not attend and he won
I am not sure if YarAdua attended sef Demola Adeleke did not attend the last debate in Osun and he won So how many winners of elections actually attend debates
Are you suggesting that debates are unnecessary? The big boys should join the debate this year, not the fringe players engaging themselves in idealist chatters seeing that they wouldn't win the election.
Finally, you do not think that the debate can go in Tinubu's favor? Like he goes there schools everyone, prove that he is still game, putting to rest questions about his mental and physical health, that kind of win win scenario
Omo, this man is not joking o, na wao, I know he was attacked, but I haven't actually seen some of the attacks that triggered him this much. Some of the tweets were deleted already.
Do you think Presidential debate will take place this election? Keeping in mind that the last two elections had the main candidates not showing up. I know Obi will be there, I don't know about others. Larride do you think Tinubu will show up to debate? I honestly think he should, he can kill many birds with one stone, especially with questions around his health and mental capacity.
Vice presidential debate is a given, I enjoyed the last one between Obi and Osinbajo, I thought Osinbajo did better.
I watched Festus Kenyamo on Arise News TV, damn, the anchors lost the plot totally. It was a weak display from them, Festus dominated them totally. Then his interview on channels TV was better, I think he is very qualified for the job he has been given as campaign spokesperson
ON ASUU issues, I don't know if what Festus said during the program is true, but if it is, ASUU are overdoing
Omo, see vawulence. Are we sure he is the one in control of his account I still don't understand why a PDP will engage in gbas gbos over Tinubu's eulogy, his party's enemy. I guess PDP stalwarts should be concerned
If you believe that a politician who spent 7 years in PDP and was picked as vp under the same party, is a Saint, then that's a new level of gullibility. Obi was not privy to the corrupt conditions that made him vice president indeed, he was not in support of his principal's antic during the previous election. Yimu. He has never lost his Sainthood, and those who move to LP are accorded the same grace. Don j said Atiku picked him because he saw his competency and because he wanted to whitewash his corruption ridden image, ask him the same reasons can be attached to Atiku picking Okowa, and he will definitely stutter. I still wonder how people would believe a politician up to this level, maybe it's cause Nigeria's problems are so grievous that we need a Saint to give us hope, even if it's a fake one.
donjazet: You do know that 2022 was the very first time Obi vied for office under PDP? He didn't seek the party's ticket in 2019, Peter Obi was literally dragged to the PDP from APGA. Immediately he joined, he was appointed a special advicer to the president on finance and later was made the chairman Nigerian securities and exchange commission. He became the regulatory overseer over the Nigerian stock market.
And then atiku recognizing his immense value and personal integrity hand picked him as a vice so as to cover for his own corruption ridden image.
Obi defecting to the LP should be hailed as a highly courageous thing to do. He is already an overachiever. A single man leading a parabolic movement. He has raised the consciousness of a nation, he has given the average masses a chance to run through him and use him as a vehicle for revolution.
He is a breath of fresh air from the ugly nastiness of corrupt officials. The only Eastern governor not to go to Senate, the only governor not to receive a single penny from the state coffers. That's the integrity we seek. That's the modern day saint in african politics. A shining light upon the nation.
I still commend you my brother for at least camping with him. Together we would make our country great!
Wow, you are really helpless, aren't you? The only thing that can cure you is definitely Obi getting there and doing what our past presidents have done; get power and become clueless. Obi left PDP because he saw defeat in primaries, if he didn't, he would have stayed. Going by your the bolded is Okowa meant to cover Atiku's corruption ridden image too or is Obi the only Saint with redemption power I can see your whitewashing attempts, and I don't believe it, one has to have a certain level of delusion to believe it.
Finally, like I said sometimes back, not everyone that will vote for Obi will be obidient, I can agree that he is slightly better than the rest (of course that why I decided to vote him), but I will never stand for all this whitewashing BS.
So called fencist I guess if I tell you that Obi is a Saint that can transform Nigeria to become Egypt and Morroco, I will no longer be a fencist.
Saint Obi for president. The only man to move from apga to PDP to LP without losing that spotless sparkle. The man who jumped from party to party out of love for our dear country and not out of desire/desperation to be president but out of desire to move Nigeria from consumption to production. His strides in Anambra state is so impressive that he deserves to be president on the ground of it. I could go on and on but words will fail me to quantify what a man Peter Gregory Obi is.
I was discussing with someone today, he said that yorubas supporting Tinubu are tribalistic, I said I disagree, he insisted. So I said Igbos supporting Obi are tribalistic, he still disagreed, telling me that they igbos voted against Ojukwu in 2003, so it proves that they are not tribalistic. Anyways, there is no denying the tribal element in Nigeria political pysche, but I will always resist "good for thee but no for me" mentality.
Apc can't make the mistake of presenting Osinbajo, if they did, I won't vote him. There is no way you can separate Buhari's failure from Osinbajo, he is literally bubu's partner in crime against Nigeria. Someone failed as vice president, the next thing is to reward him with presidency, because he can speak plenty English or what? APC would have buried themselves if Osinbajo emerged and sadly they didn't.
GloriousGbola: Diezani Allison madueke was born with silver spoons sticking out of every orifice. The woman was a director in Shell. You cannot begin go imagine the money she had seen.
Yet she went crazy as petroleum minister basically highlighting why obj and now Buhari made themselves substantive petroleum ministers.
You can maybe understand some dude with a poor background being greedy, but a person who had always been rich, always had everything? That is what the Nigerian system, esp in an fg where there are zero consequences and accountability does.
I always say that I am more afraid of fresh legs than the old ones sef. At least the olds ones will be topping up, the new ones will be filling from scratch. I fear an untested man more than the one that was tested and failed. New class of politicians indeed. Even Doyin Okupe, the current alias of PO was very corrupt under GEJ, I guess PO anointing has covered him too Those are the people PO must reward with one position or the other if he wins, then some LP stelwarts who have probably been hoping they get to the top so they can scoop their own share.
donjazet: Then you have a chance to wipe away the old class of politicians and vote people like me with a tenacious zeal to get things right and be uncompromising in our ideals of how government should be. There are soo many fresh politicians springing up in the labor party, you are assured of us starting with a clean slate but no, you are still be undecided. That tomfoolery of the highest order.
LOL, I have to react to this. It's delusion to think that merely changing players will change the game. Have the new class of politicians been tempted with billions of naira they can get away with stealing? Lack of opportunity is not virtue. Know this and know peace.
donjazet: Yes it's only a foolish or very abulic person that would proudly say he's undecided right now. Are you not in Nigeria? The bread I used to buy for 800 before is now 2000 today. And we used to consume 2 before. That's just Bread oo, before we talk about other staples that have ballooned in price.
Are you not in Nigeria with us, hearing 0f the numerous insecurity issues paralyzing the country. I'm not even talking about the domestic terrorism issue, I'm talking of the everyday common crime that goes unreported, we're talking buglaries and the likes.
Then you have a chance to wipe away the old class of politicians and vote people like me with a tenacious zeal to get things right and be uncompromising in our ideals of how government should be. There are soo many fresh politicians springing up in the labor party, you are assured of us starting with a clean slate but no, you are still be undecided. That tomfoolery of the highest order.
It's tomfoolery because I am not going all over the internet singing "kumbaya, Obi is the savior". You mentioned problems facing the country, does having problems automatically translate to jumping on the nearest snake oil salesman? Yes, Obi is a snake oil salesman. I can/will vote for him, but I will never market him. In 2014, GEJ was bad, people just anointed Buhari as a Saint to lead us out of problems, no questions asked, I smell the same tactics. If you want to keep crying whenever anyone asks a question of Obi, your problem, but don't expect people with good memory and functioning brains to not ask questions of him.
chrisooblog: See this is the thing. You're trying to win hearts and minds, but when you start insulting or putting down people for supporting a candidate it rubs people the wrong way.
Like I said before every candidate has their baggage so claiming moral high ground will not work.
Focus on Obi's good attributes (he has quite a few) and craft a unique selling point that will make him appealing to undecided voters.
Here's a free tip stay away from any tribal dog whistling post to attack pro-Tinubu posters that will only galvanize them and lose you many fencists you're trying to woo.
Undecided voters are not a thing in Nigeria's propaganda wheel, ask any critical question and you are automatically branded as a stooge to another candidate. Every Election, people just make up a Saint, prop him up and expect everyone to agree that he is a Saint, since 2014, I swore never to fall for that trick, never again. I will continue asking critical questions about any candidate, and exposing their pitfalls, if you like give me a negative tag, na you Sabi.
Amoto94: Emmynator must be exorcised from the demons of Agbadorians, I could have called on SeanOkafor but he left the missionary for cryptocurrency. Swoosh! What a quandary
Deciding to vote Obi is not enough, I must also lick his balls, lmaooooo
