The price is fixed. At the moment, i don't have the financial muscle to do full pre-orders.
This is a new way i can handle and still get people the quality of cars i boast of.
I carry you along all the way while u pay off whatever fees come up as the process progresses.

It is worth and buyer knows what his car has to go thru to get here.
Looking forward to doing business with you!!

FamilyRe: Guys, What Do You Consider To Be A Fair Dowry? by Emperoh(m): 2:02pm On Jun 22, 2011
Ibime

Just like in Ijaw land, the cost of marrying a lady in Igbo land varies from village to village.
I am from Anambra and i know that Awka is not the most expensive. I don't know what the list you have says
but with about 150k, you do be able to do all that is required. These days, families don't even take bride price anymore

What they do is just ask you to bring what you have (expectation are most times between 10 -15k), the family may just ask its first son to take a note out of the saucer and the rest given back to you with a message (that their daughter is not for sale).

As for the list, the most important is that which goes to the Kindred, the wives and daughters of the kindred as well. This is actually the highest. The lady's immediate family in some cases forfeit their own share of the list if they sense the guy isn't so rich. But whatever the case, most towns in Anambra are greatly scaling down on marriage requirements.

My town won't cost you half as much as Awka (maybe 50k max or thereabout) cool. The thing is that bad economy is making things like these expensive. In the past, all these things were easily sourced from a farmer's barn and taken to the suitor's family. But because white collar jobs have taken us farther from our roots, getting these things now seem hard and expensive because there are not much people producing them again.

You dey complain of Anambra, you don go Imo state? You go sell land for Lasgidi shocked shocked shocked take marry woman for Imo state ooh
You cost no be small. . . .  cool grin grin
PoliticsRe: Peter Obi's Achievements (pics) by Emperoh(m): 10:08am On Jun 22, 2011
Can someone tell me any state in the South East with a better road network than Anambra state all round?
Peter Obi has done a great job but i have serious doubts what his second tenure holds for us in Anambra State.
Also the quality of some of the roads are still a huge question mark.

His government is also being called to question for corruption during the election period.
And then his political sagacity is also in doubt.

For those criticizing the building, which is better? Effective architecture or aesthetics with no little efficiency?
Anambra doesn't have loads of money to start all these white elephant projects. The much our money can do is provide efficient shelter for government work. Anything more than this is pure aesthetics and nothing more!

All the same, he has done better than past governments in providing infrastructure in Anambra
But a lot still needs to be done before we can compete!!
EducationRe: Okorocha Orders Refund Of School Fees by Emperoh(m): 9:48am On Jun 22, 2011
I am asking those who think education should be free why they are not sending their children to public schools where it is practically free; you don't pay much. Why then go to private schools?

Free education will further plug us into low quality life with half baked graduates.
I still maintain that if you want the best, charge for it. that way, you are held accountable and then you do your best to provide the best!!

paulo882:
@at the bolded statement, my friend will you shut up ! go and do your research well. Most Scandinavia countries don't pay any tuition up to university level and also only this year did they start charging foreign students tuition in those countries, but education for locals and EU nationals still remain free. Why can't we have such in Imo state and entire Nigeria ? You ppl are so blind not to see that the money looted away by politicians is enough to fund free high quality education in this country and we will still more than enough for infrastructure and other things.
Oga, no matter how old you are, you should learn how to respect people. The new media offers you some form anonymity but that is not to be abused. You asking me to shut up reeks of irresponsibility and disrespect of the highest magnitude. If the common sense of engaging in rational argument is running away from you, kindly read and move on. You mustn't make a comment.

That said, please show me any institution in the said Scandinavian countries that do not charge any fee? Unless you are saying that not paying tuition fee amounts to free education?

numen:
1.) I'll like to know if you have any setup for installmental payments
At the moment, i do not. I let the buyer finance the deals throughout as i don't have the financial strenght to cater for all i have now. This way, my profit margin is really marked down, as i have to do with commission rather profits thereby saving buyer some good money!! cool cool
The important thing is that the process is transparent all through and the buyer gets to sanction the car before we place a bid on his/her behalf!! This is how we've been doing it!!

numen:
2.) I'll like you to post pictures and estimates of Camry 06' and 07'(which am interested in)
I will give this request a reply in due course. In the meantime, see pictures of the 07 we have above. Scrutinize it while we look for the pictures of a befitting 06 camry!! cool cool cool

numen:
3.) What's the meaning of ACV on IAAI
ACV - Actual Cost of Vehicle: A rough estimate of what the car will cost if not accidented. This helps in making a bidding judgement and also trying to be sure you don't do unrealistic purchases. ACV has not contribution whatsoever on the price bidded on a car. Market forces of demand and supply determine that!!

numen:
4.) Do you also have setups for delivery outside Lagos
Easiest of the who process. As long as it is in Nigeria, we'll get your car there!
However, it attracts additional cost. Most times, i do the driving myself especially if it is in the East!!

numen:
My broda, I really like what you are doing here. You are simply making a great effort in restoring a Lil trust of mine on Nigerian business men. Having said that I have some questions.

Thanks bro for all this effort both on your previous thread and this commercial on. keep it up!
We are doing our very best to bring you the best. I am out here for profit but carving a niche for myself is the primary motive. Thanks for trusting in us and i can assure you we won't falter and will do all that is possible to maintain our integrity!!

We look forward to doing business with you!!

Thanks for this thread and the enlightenment on the other thread.I want to know if Auctionexport.com is a credible auction website or if IAAI is the only credible one.
Thanks
I have never used Auctionexport hence can't say how good.
The only other two i have used are CTAA and Copart. Left them because of unreliable service and some other
internet issues. For now, IAAI and Manheim seem to serve my needs and i will stick them in so far as they return my loyalty with good service. Will be willing to take one your questions!!

I will answer to requests in no particular order. But however as convenience permits.
I have a paid job to attend and i hope you guys understand and bear with me. but be sure i will answer to everyone's requests.

For those asking for the meaning of ACV, it means Actual Cost of Vehicle(assumings it's without accident though). It's just to give buyers a guide on how to go about pricing and bidding and has no business on the eventual cost of the car being sold. So pay little heed to it.

xtayle:
Can you please give me an estimate on 2001 toyota camry.
Regards.
2001 Camry Lovers, here we go! It seems IAAI is in the market for you guys. Same as the Baby boy and EOD lovers. Just that the numerosity of these cars in auction has driven down their prices.
I found two sterling ones with no reasonable impact.

The first one goes like this. . . . . . . .

AutosRe: IAAI Bids: Let's Help You Get The Best! by Emperoh(op): 8:32pm On Jun 21, 2011
I am still working on the 07 and 08 Avalon
The one sold today a limited edition went for $8900(compare it with the camry above)
After the ones i will post have been sold, i do be able to give you an estimate.

mannyillis:
@Emperoh, do you have anything for me?
Mannyillis,
This is just an illustration. . . . this particular 2007 Camry XLE was sold today for $9800
By any standards, this is quite high given that the fron impact was high enough to trigger the driver's airbag.
But looking closely, i saw the mileage. After fixing, car could be coming up to almost $13000 which has defeated the aim of buying salvage cars. However, i will look out for something cleaner and better to go at a relatively good price.

Savour the pictures!!

EducationRe: Okorocha Orders Refund Of School Fees by Emperoh(m): 8:07pm On Jun 21, 2011
The insincerity of past governments not withstanding, i doubt the workability of this directive
Not for anything but because i believe we are not doing it right.

Let's assume he has the money to properly cater for this venture and then does really sustain it.
Why not collect these fees and then use the money to upgrade ailing facilities and build non-existent facilities in these schools? This way, the school is up to date and then children get to learn better.

There is nowhere in the world quality education is free. Worse still in a country like Nigeria where we like to abuse any free venture, i am the least impressed by this. The saddest part of it is the state owned University.
Does the free education equally include non-indegenes?

How then does Rochas intend to build a research based institution of modern discoveries which is what Universities are meant to be? Is there any plan to fund research and development which these institutions are meant to champion? This is further promoting the ideology of our institutions being mere theoretical learning centres. theories that are not even properly thought i dare say.

What i suggest is sustaining the fees especially secondary and tertiary level. If the government is rich enough to sustain these free education, use the monies collected from fees to improve educational infrastructure and support research and development or encourage those willing to discover or that have discovered new things.

Free Education? It is not the best. Maybe till primary education!!!

So my money is not complete yet, as I'm thinking of a 2007 Honda Accord EX full options (if possible with Nav-I know this option makes it even more expensive). Hopefully by November/December though, one should be ready by the grace of God. What I would like to know, is if you can assist in making this purchase, being a car dealer yourself. I'm actually resident in Nigeria at the moment, and I may have an opportunity to visit the U.S. before the year runs out. But in case i can't make it, can you process the purchase if I find the car myself over the internet? I believe this is your turf. Thanks.

Thanks for your contribution. I have to admit i have never heard of the NFCV until now and after going thru their site,
i think something is about to upstage carfax and autocheck eventhough their businesses look different. But what i haven't read or understood is their process plan. Who is willing to go thru all that before he buys a car when carfax has given you all u need.

As for the highlighted, it is like asking a dog if he will bite when provoked.

This thread is not really for specifics. Maybe you can contact me thru the email on my signature so we can talk further.
On a general note though, they are better than the junks being sold as brand new in Nigeria with limited options compare to American specifications. They are however, valued cheaper than Japanese big boys; Toyota, Honda, Nissan.

mastro:

Conclusion

There is nothing as good as seeing what you are buying and making an informed decision based on what is actually in front of you, there are enough imported cars that don't have any significant issues, that you can carfax check and that the prices are fair such that it is probably the easiest way to buy a car. However be aware that it's a minefield out there and while carfax is your friend, common sense will take you a lot further.
I couldn't agree any less with your conclusions. I wish some of them see the initial state of these cars before repair.
I was at the PTML container discharge terminal in Tincan Ports 2 saturdays ago and the cars that i saw headed to the panel beaters were horrible. . . they will turn out well in terms of cosmetics, but you won't need to look hard enough to see how badly damaged it is. Like you said, see and make a judgement with what you see and then compare cost. Also on carfax, there are reports that are never captured. Carfax will only reflect information sent to it my the Department of Motor Vehicle Administration and Police. So it is not fool proof on its own; say 90% report rate.

I still maintain that fixing these cars in US are better, however, there are damages i don't go close to. U are better off getting a clean titled car when you are done.
