The early Quran manuscripts contained only the skeleton of the text, the rasm, with no vowel marks. Those were added later.

In fact, researchers have found 30 different versions of the Quran from all over the world.

Al Fadi and Jay Smith continue their conversation about the claim that the Quran the Muslims use today is the same as the Quran of Mohammad's day. They discuss Dr. Daniel Brubaker's book, Corrections in Early Qurʾān Manuscripts: Twenty Examples (Quran Manuscript Change Studies) and Dr. Brubaker's qualifications as a scholar and textual analyst.

These talks are intended to help Christians who are working with Muslims, and to help Muslims deal with some of the problems with their foundations. Daniel Brubaker, PhD, is a scholar of Qurʾan manuscripts of the 7th-10th centuries AD, the earliest period of the book’s existence. He defended his doctoral dissertation titled “Intentional Changes in Qurʾan Manuscripts” and was awarded his PhD at Rice University in Houston in 2014. Since then he has continued his work researching corrections in early Qurʾans. To date, Brubaker has analyzed approximately 10,000 early Qurʾan manuscript folios, most in person, in institutions and libraries in Paris, St. Petersburg, Oxford, Cambridge, London, Dublin, Doha, Manama, Kuwait, Tashkent, and elsewhere.

Islam started as a religion in the far-away Middle East as a critic of the mainstay religion in Saudi Arabia.

3.Or by sending a messenger (angel) to reveal, by His leave, whatever He wills (to reveal) : That is, the Almighty charges one obeyed and trustworthy (angel) who is embodied in a certain form.

Thus Revelation is a unique form with a high relationship with God that's Prophethood or Sainthood, it's a form of metaphysical interaction,
Revelation is clear in meaning and it's always witnessed by the one who sends and the one who was sent

Inspiration just like dreams it's open to interpretation sometimes we dream same dream but have different interpretation of it based on how we are and what we facing and what realm we received the message from sometimes it's not witnessed other times it's a means trough which a higher entity in a higher realm who's close to you communicate to you because of the bond you've got but sometimes it comes in parables.

Revelation takes place beyond the spheres of the human soul and sensations, and its certainty transcends the conviction which comes from mere knowledge.
