gbadexy, with respect to this,
I would like for those to be explained too. I know emere's are people possessed by jinns, mostly the red mischievous ones. They somehow co habit the hosts body.
I doubt if there is truly iwin and ebgere lol! But if they exist, they should be variants of jinns.
Empiree any explanation about emeres?
I will not deny their existence. I think they are receding. It's difficult to find them now. Most likely in remote places or primitive counties(rural). I think Egbere is the one that carries mat, right?. That one we saw in the early 90s on a narrow bushy path behind a gently man. We shouted Egbere! the man ran and Egbere also picked raise at diff directions. You see, the thing is Quran sums things up a lot. Lots of creations that are not mentioned by name created by Allah. I believe those visible ones are receding. I think version of them are UFOs in the West, and also people in the West have reported sighting unusual creatures many times, usually bushy areas. Salam, Empiree kindly allow me to write one or two things as response to this brother. It seems you are "Jinn-consultant" now grin grin
grin . Thats life. I really dont blame him. I thank you for summing up the whole thing. Steadfastness is what jamo90 needs. Maybe we should put him on watch list like the sister, swtbby. I dont talk to Jinn nor consult them. However, I had serious experience with people around me. Fetish folks as tbaba1234 said do lots of crazy stuff. Those fellas can make life hell for folks out there. One of the first things they attack is inability to turn to God or pray. Very wicked folks.

@ Jamo90, yes, i do feel a bit uncomfortable exchanging emails. Plus base on the story(ies) i was narrating, I got lots of emails saying they want to hear more. Some also said what you said. I dont think i have much time for that.

Problem we have with folks is that they put too much emphasis on 'miracles' than sitting themselves down, pray and reflect. Thats the key. And if I introduce you or anyone to him, trust me he will give you dua(prayers) to offer because that's what I get from him all the time and I am so comfortable.

Rawaniya, his friend, may voluntarily act in extreme cases or emergencies. Like for instance, one of his sons who lives in UK was being ingrate 2yrs ago. He had refuse to pay up his papa and those alfas for organized prayers he requested yrs earlier. In 2012 he got into trouble with UK govt. He alleged that they found evidence against him and court date was set. Prior to that he has been very lazy in terms of religion. Anyways, papa wont let him go to jail regardless of their hullabaloo. Mr. Rawaniyah went and saw evidence in lawyer's office. He set it on fire and recited "Lakadijakun" 313 before leaving. He always do that actually. He recites the verse wherever he visits. But the thing is some are not comfortable with Rawaniyah story because it's seen differently. Anyway, UK attorney did go to court but told the judge he would dismiss the case without prejudice.

Another extreme case is a "family friend", a christian who was attacked spiritually. This is been going on since '09 as far as i know but it was earlier than that really. Those witches buried some spiritual stuff with his name on them at 3 diff locations. What they used is "nkan emi or nkan abemi" i:e 'life substance' and buried it deep feet below the earth. They ruined his businesses, They tampered with his heart. It was Rawaniyah that uprooted everything they buried at 3 diff locations in nija. It took him a little over a yr to uproot these 3 dangerous things. He said Alfa, pastor or babalawo who dare to attempt it would never make it alive. It can only be uprooted by Allah's will. No human can do it. It was after he uprooted the 3 things(fetishes) the man started feeling a bit better. A once rich man had to sleep from place to place to survive. Cant even sleep in his own house in new york because those fellas got some down to earth evil fetishes in there.

He had been to hospitals in New york seeking help for his heart problems. But doctors cant find anything wrong with it. A doctor finally gave in and applied pacemaker on his chest in 2010 just to shut him up. But that really does nothing. It was Rawaniyah who treated him. His name is Jamiu. He's surgeon. That was the first time the man i was talking about knew this Rawaniyah is a medical doctor. He fixed his heart during sleep. After he woke up, Rawaniyah told him to go to a pharmacy and buy a prescription drug. He gave him the name of the drug. It's a long name i cant remember now and never heard of it before either. When he went to pharmacy he was surprised when he found the medication over the counter.

He's okay now medically but the battle is still on with those people but Alhamdulilah, he's winning. The man will have no choice now but to embrace Islam with many things he sees. My point is this is where we need 'down to earth' muslims to deal with situation like this. To help weak ones among us, muslims or not. My uncle could have died if not by Allah's Grace. He had been to several places including pastors in New York and Chicago but problems persist. Those witches sealed off his state of mind(loss of memory) making him forget the man in question ( that i was narrating his story) since 1997. They reunited early 2010.

I only went to his house in Brooklyn 2x and i can sense a lot was going on. Am never going back there. Fact is those evil folks exist. Believe that. They know you more than you know yourself. They are human beings with possession of power to inflict pains on others. They make dua cumbersome for their victims. But once you break their holds, give praises to your Lord and rejoice. This family friend, also uncle is now able to pray endlessly and able to sleep like a baby unlike before. The case is still active.

Jarus:
This is my understanding too, as a Muslim.

A dead person cannot wake up again (until day of resurrection). That is the position of Islam.

However, there is another creature called Jinn. They are invisible to us but can take human form and appear as human.

There is a Jinn called qareen. Every human has a qareen attached to him/her. Of course, someone that lives with you knows your conversations - name of your mother, father, grandfather, children etc since they live with you all one's life.

The babalawo and alfas and pastors that tell you the name of your father or mother (without you ever meeting them) has only consulted your qareen that lives with you.

Jinn normally lives longer than human. So when a man dies, some mischievous qareens take over the shape of their late host and appear to others as human. That is the concept of akudaya.

That is our understanding in Islam. Backed by Qur'an and hadiths.
Well articulated. Abeg make una tell those fellas who think their dead relatives living luxury in la la land

A Muslim man asked, "I heard that Ibn Taymiyyah was attacked by Jinn, how true is this?"

Assalamualaikum,

Firstly a quick point before I touch up on the topic queried above, Firstly the fact that many people nowadays consider Jinn to be something which they are in fact not, I think the main reason for this is the many many movies and social views which have distorted the actual truth about jinns.

Jinns are afraid of Humans & the human race is far superior than any other creation of allah (s.w.t).

"I did not create the Jinn and mankind except to worship Me"
(Surah Ad-Dhariyat 51:56)

Both humans and Jinns were created for one thing, and one thing alone to worship allah (s.w.t), The sons and daughters of Adam & Hawa, give too much importance to Jinns...alot more than what should be given, Read the Quraan, It only mentioned jinns in a few places, this doesnt even make up 10% of the Quraan!!

Before I stray from the point, I have not in my research into the world of Jinn and the Islamic viewpoint come across concrete proof or evidence that Ibn taymiyyah (r.a) was attacked by jinn, though he was well versed on this subject and produced writings on this issue. If there was any such incident, So what? whats the significance of this? The way Humans attack Humans, Jinns can attack humans, and humans can attack jinns can they not?

This also depends entirely upon on a persons notion of Jinn, many call shaytaan a Jinn, if this is so, shaytaan attacks everyone 24/7....

We have also been appointed a Qareen by allah, who also attacks us in his own way....This could mean this also....

Without going to deep and freaking people out....We should really delve too deep and give too much notice to these things...allahu aalim, we should try our best to perfect our Emaan and be from amongst the best of believers...and become the envy of man and jinn alike. Inshallah.

If you wish to discuss this matter further, please do not hesitate to contact me. W/s

Your Brother in islam,

Muhammed Bin Yusuf

Another lousy experience...

I'm 110% sure we have jinn in our house. They've been bothering us for many years now. Just this morning after fajr my brother saw a shadow floating past him while he was using his laptop. My other brother has seen the same thing a few times before. My sister has seen the same shadowy thing but this time it had the shape of a man. They seem to bother two of my brothers and my mother the most, not so much the rest of us. When my brother is sleeping, he makes these wierd movements with his legs and he makes strange noises, sometimes he can't even move. A'udubillah.

Personally I've had many experiences with these damn things. At first they used to scare me, but now I am getting used to them. Like this one time (maybe two months ago), I woke up around fajr time and I saw this dark shadow which had the shape of a man was pulling on my arm (I also couldn't move for some reason). Another time (I was alot younger back then) I woke up at night and suddenly there was this blue-ish light that lit up my room and all of a sudden there was an arab looking man with a long dark beard sitting on my chest and reading something from a book which I assumed was a mushaf back then.

These things become more intense the more we read Qur'an and focus on deen. Sometimes when me and my brothers are praying jama3 at our house we feel this "presence" around us, and we hear weird noises that are coming from our living-room walls (no it is not the neighbours).

And that is just the tip of the iceberg. Some other things that I have seen and experienced, I would definately like to keep to myself.

After reading about sihr and the signs of sihr, and knowing how sihr is widespread in our community (especially back home) I do not doubt for a second that some hasid fools did sihr on us.

But Alhamdulillah, we have actually benefitted from this. Although these shayateen are trying to make us forsake the deen, these experiences have pushed us closer to the deen. The more they bother us, the more we seek refuge in Allah and the more Qur'an we recite. We've had Ruqyah done on my mother and my older brother (who is the one who is affected the most by the jinn) and it has helped maybe a little, but this is going to require ALOT of effort since like I said they have been with us for more than 10 years, and alot longer with my mom (who has been possessed a few times as a child).

I know all of this sounds crazy, but Allah is my witness that I am telling the truth as I see it. All of this has re-affirmed by belief in the ghayb, wa AlHamdulillah.
Islam › Re: Jinn Stories by Empiree: 11:43pm On Nov 17, 2014
I guess this shows importance of purity (for Janaba)

The duas as the brother mention is the key importance. We dealt with a case of a practising brother who someone had done Black Magic on. The Jinn who possessed the brother said he'd stalked him for months but came up against obstacles such as his duas for entering the home, toilet, eating etc.. etc.. and therefore had no easy access. 3 months of stalking led to nothing until one day the brother left the house in the state of Janaba by mistake and that's when the Jinn found his opportunity and pounced.
Islam › Re: Jinn Stories by Empiree: 11:37pm On Nov 17, 2014
With regards to jinns claiming to be muslim and helping the people then i would say again the jinns are liars, the true muslim jinn would not interfere in the affairs of the believer let alone make them faint etc, the jinns have religions and just like us there are those that are muslims but are rebellious and do not practice their religion.

From my personal experiences i found that the jinn would pretend to be muslim in order for you to show them respect and then they would start to elevate themselves by making demands and claiming they have certain powers etc, the weak believer will follow the commands and before he knows it he has fallen into kufr and shirk and the shaytaan has won.

It is also important not to become paranoid and think everything is jinn related but at the same time remain consistent with the adhkar/duas for entering the home, bathroom, when eating, having intercourse etc, do not let shaytaan take part in your affairs, protect yourself and children with the Quran, recite ayatul qursi and the quls over them as a minimum and stay away from sins.

Christianity Etc › Re: Akudaya:myth Or Reality? by Empiree:
gbadexy:
@empiree
I can just recollect something from the conversation I had with the elder (agba) then.
The man said there are the white, red and black witches that God gave powers.
The white has the powers of the 3 because God tested them and only the white said he would help with his powers. That the red witch which is the most notorious likes blood and sometimes when it needs blood, they just throw cars away on highway and when the corpse are observed, little blood is seen at the accident site.
This reminds me of the part you said the alfa kills big rams so that his blood and that of his daughter won't dry.
The man believes there are angels which the white witches take prayers to, their are jinns (Aje), man and deities.
But now I know there are only angels, jinns and man. The rawaniya you did mention is most likely the red jinns with the need to appease with blood and not the Yasin that's drying blood. If it were to be Yasin that dries blood, I would be wary and re evaluate my relationship with the faith.
As it is, venturing into such spiritual avenue is very dangerous. I don't need to mention its haram. Its the red jinns that are actually responsible for helping with money and you still wonder how he doesn't go out to work and yet married many wives with large family.
The man I was opportuned to interact with was my good friend's uncle and is late now but I did enjoy interactions with him because he was also an architect if memory serves me well and had a liberal and informed view but even he too admitted that dealing with those jinns is dicey because they are double edged swords that can swing both ways.
I will pass on any of those things with benefit of hindsight.
honestly, it's diff from things you said up there and i really have no time arguing over this. it's a long head discussion before. I talked a little further here. https://www.nairaland.com/1116143/jinn-stories/4 . This is not jinn or Aje. Slaughtering ram is merely sacrifice for expiation of sin has nothing to do with Aje. The sacrifice is like eran ileya. That's sacrifice, too. Sacrificial animal is to Allah not jinn, human, rawaniyah or anything else, you name it. Here we talking about penetrating Quran.

You think we all the same?. There are perverted folks out there in this profession. You never heard of male nurse (and) even female nurse intimating with patient? They lose sense of professionalism if pressure mounts.
Career › Re: Challenges Of Being A Male Nurse. by Empiree: 12:22am On Nov 17, 2014
i work in medical field as a nurse. The thing is anyone can be a nurse, male or female. And yes, the title "nurse" sounds feminine but as world turns men are also desperate for this professional job. It's a bit less affordable to be nurse than Doctor.

As for assignment, I never had female patient and i dont want to. I do not think there is State or Federal restriction on assignments. I think it depends on agency you work for. Many agencies understand "nature" of men. Men are created with haste, urge etc. Should they sight female's part, they develop sexual attraction especially if you have work with a female patient having urological problems. Meaning you have to work around her private part. For example to clean catheter and tube, this female patient will have to open her legs wide open for male nurse to treat her the same way he treats male. That's too graphic.

Male nurse who cant hold himself will get in trouble grin . Therefore most agencies do not assign male nurse to female patient. vis-à-vis, yes. In hospitals or nursing homes may be a little different.

@ spyder880, me and my friend, who also into construction business were looking at this thread last night. Very interesting. Cant take my eyes off this thread. However, he raised some important questions.

He was scared seeing "concrete parapet". He alleged that the load might be too much. I did say concern about this grew in the media may be the reason "Aluminum parapet" was invented. How is it with "Aluminum parapet", any info on it?

Also he frowns at tank stand being too high up. I actually didnt notice that before. It looks scary considering heavy load of GP tanks on it. It appears 3 tanks fit in it. Then, he raised question that if for instance, tank on the left or right is empty and the other 2 tanks are fully loaded, pressure will mount on one side which may be catastrophic and loss. Did you envision this?

On "concrete parapet", he thinks that with time, rain will turn the concrete 'green' and has to be constantly maintained. Do you agree with this?. Overall, he loves the building.

I did show him another thread with parapet which he seems to be okay with. He alleged that roof should be elevated away from parapet to avoid water damage..
Islam › Re: How To Get Rid Of Jinn by Empiree:
I referred a guy from another thread on 'Akudaya' which led to Jinn mysteries. He doubted it because he cant confirm such thing exit. This is what he has to say after reading this thread..

I got your msg and inviting you here for now, tumaraya.

wow I can't believe I read all 5 pages of the thread. So unfortunate what the young Lady is passing through. And I must confess, that was quite an interesting revelation for me not with regards to this topic but that of the OP in that thread swtbb.... I hope she is able to pull through all that spiritual fight.

Some interesting observation in the thread:
1. I noticed that Jinn thing possessed mostly Muslim women and most of its effect are felt in illusions or another realm.
2. Both the effects, solutions and perspectives have largely been on Muslims and the Islamic way of cure, that is understandable but the discussion would have been more interesting to learn if it had also discussed non-islamic cases of such possessions unless of course if it is peculiar to Muslims alone.
3. The Jinn thing seem to me mostly like a demonic possession with Islamic explanation and solutions, do you know similar cases that have been solved outside of the confines of Islam, I mean where even the sufferer is not Muslim but still get cured.

Again, I must commend the efforts of the Muslims that gave her a repertoire of solutions which seemed to be working for the young lady, it really was an eye opener for me.... I have heard of cases of such possessions, it can be likened to the case of marine husband, spiritual wife, ogbanje or abiku sort of possession in other religions and tribes and I know they too have their own way of cure..... Exploring them will be very interesting.

Finally, the Jinn thing from what I have learned from that thread has little to do with the reincarnation being discussed here by this OP even though you referred me to a Jinn thread. It still did not answer my earlier questions, do you know of any Jinn children, or have you personally experience or witness the reincarnation phenomenon besides the usual once upon a time kind of gist that usually accompany reincarnation stories. The Jinn thread you referred me to discussed Jinn in another level of operations not similar in anyway to the reincarnation topic here..... Would like to get a response from you. Besides, I noticed I am not able to comment the Jinn thread unless I confess to being a Muslim, come on, is that really necessary, I really would love to join the discussion and ask question as an outside, you know bring another perspective to the discussion, what the lady needs is help, it does not matter if it comes from a non-islamic source or does it?

why would a jin want to take another persons form? n have a knowledge about the persons history, know his family etc such that e disappears wwhen they approach.
Usually those are evil Jinn. They do that for reason best known to them. It could be out of jealousy, or simply evil intent. Yes, Jinn are capable of obtaining divine info. For example, if you consult a fortune teller, he consults jinn and jinn eavesdrops divine conversation from heaven and relate it to fortune teller. In Islam, this is unlawful.
