Chiomaella: Nigeria will now be watching the rest of the 2019 Women’s World Cup nervously.
The Super Falcons saw their chances of making the Round of 16 reduce, as Brazil took the second slot after Tuesday matches.
The South Americans beat Italy 1-0, thanks to Marta’s late penalty, to claim third spot in Group C.
Three of the teams in the group including Australia finished with six points, while Jamaica had zero.
There are now two slots left for the best third-placed teams.
For the African champions to qualify now, Scotland need to beat Argentina on Wednesday. Or at least hold the South Americans to a draw.
New Zealand must also hold Cameroon or if either side wins on Thursday, it must not be by more than three goals.
Thailand, who have conceded 18 times already, should not lose by more than three goals to Chile.

The apex court said the appeal was dismissed for want of diligent prosecution. The seven-member panel of justices led by Justice Bode Rhodes-Vivour therefore unanimously held that the appeal lacked merit and dismissed same. On April 18, a Court of Appeal sitting in Kaduna upheld the appeal Mr Yusuf, challenging a Federal High Court’s order that sacked him as the party’s candidate. Delivering the judgement, Justice Tanko Hussaini said the Federal High Court judge in Kano erred in law by assuming jurisdiction without the plaintiff, Ibrahim Little, joining the necessary party, Abba Yusuf. The judge also said Mr Little lacked locus standi to institute action challenging the process that he did not participate in. On March 4, a Federal High Court sitting in Kano sacked the governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Abba Yusuf, in the state. |

senatordave1: Tuniski, the second reason for the dismissal of the case is because little was not part of the said primaries meanwhile he bought forms and he is a member of pdp.this has vindicated me again.the fct kangaroo court that sacked apc lawmakers in bauchi erred, only those that participated in the primaries of apc have the right to sue.anyway i xpect you to come up with a ridiculous reason to disagree as usual.
As an aside,i personally think that the apex court were here.ibrahim little was denied of his political rights when after buying forms, kwankwaso took the venue of the primaries to his house and prevented others from participating in it making yusuf a sole contestant.that is an infringement of his fundamental human rights, the apex court should have cancelled that primaries.perhaps little didnt argue it well in court 1. Who has the right to Conduct primary. 2. Who present candidate for election 3. Who has the right to invite INEC to monitor primary 4. What prevent little not to go to the venue or conduct his own parallel primary. It's one thing to buy form it's another thing to participate. What you dont know you dont know. |

ChristianNorth: We have gone past Osun, we are focused squarely on retrieving Atiku's stolen mandate.
Adeleke will win.
APC Court of Nigeria despite admitting that INEC went beyond their powers and constitutional mandate in certain dealings at the Osun election erroneously granted the appeal of APC on one of the grounds that the the justice that read the lead judgment was absently during the course of the proceedings.
The APC justices forgot that the Tribunal is a superior court of records. I wonder what court of records means to them. Exactly. What people don't know is that, yesterday hearing was to put dots to the supreme court decision. All neccesary judgment had been written. netpro: Not exactly. Proving a Server existence is one thing (almost impossible - those that claim to have heard of server did not). Do you know it can be as simple as Dedicated server hosting account? Also Atiku needs to prove that authenticity of the results he has over the ones announced by INEC.
Then there is the biggest hurdle, the current law does not support electronic results. That was one of the provisions the amended law had. But Mr President declined. The question at hand is INEC release your serve for the verification of Card readers and results, But INEC said They have no server, How is that to you. |
Politics › Re: INEC Server: The Easiest Way Atiku Can Make His Case by engineerboat(m): 5:07pm On Jun 16, 2019 |
OAUTemitayo: The question you should ask is, of what relevance is server to tribunal? Why is it so difficult for Atiku to present the signed result sheets signed by party agents and electoral officers of which all his agents had a copy given to them?
Why is Atiku finding it difficult to prove electoral irregularities with available evidence in his hand? Why the need to rely on something you have to prove its existence, prove the figures are the correct figures and prove its admissibility before electoral act and tribunal when you have result sheets with you? Everything na turn by turn. Let this turn be trashed, then moved to the next case on agenda. so for now, INEC is on hot seat |
Politics › Re: INEC Server: The Easiest Way Atiku Can Make His Case by engineerboat(m): 5:03pm On Jun 16, 2019 |
OAUTemitayo: Did electoral officers input election results into card readers in your presence at polling booth?
If they did, did the party agents sighted and signed to the transmission?
I don't know why you are giving Atiku false hope.
The only results recognized by law is the result sheets signed by party agents and electoral officers.
That's what Atiku should use to prove his case not one server that many voters don't even know exist. Entire polling units cancelled because their card readers could not authenticate their voters cards and finger prints. if that is the case then, where are the verification going to. Many results cancelled because card readers could not be used. abeg swarve |
