I repeat a point made in my last post: Christ's presence convicted Zacchaeus; maybe RCCG is not convicted because Christ is not present in it? |
^^^ Since you're so into this particular story, let take abit further. Christ went to eat in this man's house, no? Lets imagine that Zacc didn't feel convicted and make the offer to repay, would Christ have had to vomit the food he ate? Would the folks outside have been justified to come and carry Christ because he "knowingly" ate in a crooked man's house? I'm not saying the church should be a haven for all kinds of criminals but come on, be fair. As someone said earlier, are you also going to go after the children's schools and everyone Akingbola ever donated money to? Come on
You don't understand the story. Christ chose to dine with Zacchaeus knowing beforehand that Zacc was a tax collector BUT also knowing that His (Christ's) presence with Zacc would convict Zacc. Maybe Christ is not present in RCCG which is why RCCG does not feel convicted? |
^^^^ If and when RCCG are convicted by Christ's teaching they will know what to do. If RCCG is led and directed by the Holy Spirit rather than mammon, they will know what to do. EDIT Remember our friend Zacchaeus? When he was convicted by Christ's teaching, he knew what to do without needing to be told. |
^^^ And RCCG does not feel convicted about receiving stolen money? Is RCCG really following Christ then? |
Christ didn't tell Zacc to return the money, Christ didn't force Zacc to return the money - Zacc himself felt convicted and offered to refund whatever stolen money he had with interest. Get the story right.
So, Zacc felt convicted by Christ's teaching; but the RCCG does not feel convicted by Christ's teaching! Which one of them is Christ's follower then? Does RCCG believe in Christ at all, then? |
Last two posts quite good; Jesus is God of course and said so Himself. The Christians arguing against this simply do not understand what it means to say "Jesus is God". We can ignore the non-Christians altogether --- unless they are seeking genuine understanding even as they disagree. |
anonimi: anonimi:Very good answer too. Also, below is an interesting exercise in 'logic': - Akingbola has not been convicted of stealing - RCCG has not been proven to have received stolen money from Akingbola - James Ibori has not been convicted of looting - Babangida has not been convicted of looting - Abacha was never convicted of looting - Abacha was never convicted of brutality - Abacha was never convicted of killing Ken saro Wiwa |
If I've got this to work, you should see a Raven 90 dish with 7 LNBs on it though it can actually receive from 8 satellites as one of the LNBs get signals from 2 different satellites. Starting from extreme

The attached file was drawn up by a kind poster on satellites.co.uk; see http://www.satellites.co.uk/forums/dish-setup-guides-information-threads-faqs/133694-offset-lnb-monobloc-lnb-guide-pdf.html It will give an idea of how satellite signals are reflected (as with a mirror) in a multi-LNB set up. I will post something equally interesting in the next post. |
I should point out a qualification that I added on the multi-LNB thread. My earlier reply was based on the positioning of the LNBs alone. The LNBs are correctly Nilesat at focus, 7e at B and 28e at C. I do not think your arrows showing the incoming directions of the waves and signals are correct --- but that is not critical for practical purposes; that is more relevant for theoretical understanding. |

@freshp Exactly! W3A is 7e and multi TV is 28e; normally, they should be on the other side of the Nilesat LNB except that the east is reversed to "west" in multi LNB setup. What confused me earlier was that the LNB which you now call 7e, Microgiant had referred to as 22w ---- which cannot really be correct. Is Malagasy on W3A? EDIT I now realise that "Malagasy" or "Madagascar" refers to the MBCs on 7e ----- so you are totally correct. |
@freshp Use enigmatrax@hotmail.com I might be slow to respond but I will get back to you in the end. ![]() |
eni No hard feelings at anyone at all, in all honesty. I just say things as I see it --- when I can be bothered. Keep FTA flag flying. ![]() |
Do your job, man; no one is preventing you from doing that. I will always air my opinion if I see abuse/likely abuse of power ---- until I am banned or something. |
Then allow us to air legitimate opinions. Easy! |
I have no need to petition the owner nor any desire whatsoever to act as moderator. As a contributor, I have the right to air my opinion ----- within the rules. |
enitan2002:And you think that is a good thing? |
twinstaiye:That will be an abuse of moderator powers --- in so far as the chap does not break the rules. And that is not simply because it has happened to me too in the past. |
Naah, I don't think he has enough 'integrity' or 'cleverness' to go for even that! My suspicion is that it is one of those "PhDs" you can buy for about $300 or so based on your "life experience". Don't be surprised to see Joagbaje parading a "PhD" soon when he is able to raise enough money to buy one. @Joagbaje Here, go and get your own "PhD" too! http://www.lorenzuniversity.com/lp/adjectives/buy.asp?source=GoogleL-US&kw=Buy%20phd&amd=1&seg=1&cagn=13&kmt=broad&gclid=CJfz5-jb_KICFeF95QodBihkjQ http://www.universaldegrees.com/universaldegrees/offer3.asp?source=Google-US&kw=Buy%20phd&amd=1&seg=1&cagn=29&kmt=broad&gclid=CN-wmfja_KICFcl25QodoGuajg EDIT pasiitor Joagbaje, I hope you realise how easy it is: No admission, No studies, No exams! What are you waiting for? Note that you can get |

^^^ There are lots of them in Chris Embassy (parading as Christ Embassy); it is basically endemic there and it's as if the people are bewitched to go and steal and them bring the stolen money into the church. Below is another example: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-356276.0.html N15m scam rocks Chris Oyakhilome’s church |
magaddai:Don't worry, friend, we were all newbies at one point. ![]() A "feed" in our context is a satellite television signal used by an operator to supply pictures/sound to stations that are far away. Let us say you are in Abuja watching NTA Abuja but NTA Abuja wants to receive a transmission from NTA Enugu; one of the ways by which NTA Enugu can send the transmission to Abuja is by a satellite feed which NTA Abuja will receive ("download" and transmit to their viewers. If you want to enjoy NTA feeds and e.g. watch the newscasters while they are preparing to read the news try 27.5w on C Band; when I had it I used to be able to see the newscasters joking around or adjusting their make-up etc before reading the news. ![]() EDIT To see various feeds that people have found (most are in Europe though) try http://www.satelliweb.com/index.php?section=livef |
@ Hotwire Could you please confirm the name of the satellite (or the orbital position) that you receive with the second (i.e. 'Madagascar') LNB. This is because I don't think it is NSS 7 (22w?) as Microgiant stated it. @ Microgiant Many many thanks for the pictures. |
Well, as was said of him the fraudulent wolf in sheep clothing that is Joagbaje has so far been unable to redeem his own integrity. However, even as it is most desirable for a sinner to turn away from his sin, again here is one more chance for pasiiiitor Joagbaje to redeem himself: . . . could you please tell us which university or institution he (Oyakhilome) got his PhD from and in which year? |
anonimi:The law of the land and lawyers call it "Receiving Stolen Property" |
It could have been a Feed. Some feeds are a one-off, some are occasional and some are regular/frequent on a particular frequency. |
freshp:When you are using a multi-LNB setup the central LNB remains where it will be as aligned to the focus satellite. However, the other LNBs are placed in "reverse" i.e. an LNB for a satellite that is east in the sky will be placed "west" on the LNB rail and vice versa. This is because the satellite signals are reflected at an angle especially on an offset dish. |
Joagbaje:I will let you in on a little secret. I have acted as examiner (or a marker if that is too complicated for you) of people's PhDs. I won't say beyond that about my profile to avoid boasting. You have now shown yourself to be an untrustworthy weasel and probably a fraud whose god is his belly and who is not to be trusted. I will give you yet one more chance to redeem yourself: . . . could you please tell us which university or institution he (Oyakhilome) got his PhD from and in which year? |
Pleasure, George. ![]() |
According to various things that we have read, heard or even watched him say himself: 1. God once told the G.O. that out of thousands of people present in one gathering only about a dozen or so "would make heaven" if the world ended then. 2. He once invited God to drink tea and his cup of tea became half-full 3. When he is standing at his gatherings including ("Holy Ghost" nights), god is always talking to him there and then e.g. telling him that one person with headache "is receiving healing", another person with bad mouth odour is getting his healing, another one who farts all the time is being restored to her pride etc etc etc ad nauseam This same G.O., god now refused to tell him that his lieutenants including Akingbola are thieves?? ?? ?? Pull another one!!!!! |
Joagbaje:With this post you have shown by your own words that you are indeed an ignoramus and a dunce. And of course you have not denied, let alone disprove, that you are a weasel. ![]() Yeah right, opaks Oyaks Oyakhilome "produced a bible" indeed. The ignoramus is referring to one of the cheating fads of various WoF "preachers" to make merchandise of their victims by packaging a regular Bible e.g. the KJV (especially if public domain), write a few words or "prayer points" here and there and sell to their victims. And in the case of a dunce like Joagbaje, the mugs say "oh, he is so great he has even produced a Bible". Where, when and how is such a Bible "authorized internationally"? I will give you one more chance to redeem yourself: . . . could you please tell us which university or institution he (Oyakhilome) got his PhD from and in which year? |
