Read Isaiah 58. Almighty God Himself explains to you what He wants you to do on your days of fasting.

In Isaiah 58, God Himself is telling you there that rather than starve your bodies of food, you should go out on those days to do the good 2works that He commands. He went into detail too.

You said God explained what He wants you to do on your days of FASTING.

This tells you that there are good works expected from you on the days of fasting. That means , when you observe fasting , you have to combine it with good deeds.
Jesus went further to explain that we need to fast but we should not show it to people.

2. Recall that the New Covenant which He called them to, did not commence for even His disciples until after His Death. God specifically condemned the hypocritical fastings Israelites practiced saying it's worthless, Why? Because the purpose for which they're going on hunger strike is unjustified.

God used Apostle Ayo Babalola to bring revival to Nigeria in 1930 when God used him to raised a dead child back to life . God did many miracles through him.

What about other missionaries that brought Christianity to Nigeria . They also gave free education in their time. The Catholic church also did theirs . How many can we linked to JW?

If not for these Christian groups , Nigeria would have still been in darkness.

First of all Abraham died and was buried, the Bible never mentioned any place where people live after death you were just struggling to explain away what you don't understand so please don't add to God's word. Note that Jesus was talking to the Pharisees by the time he related this Parable. Luke 16:14-18
So the parable has a lot to do with them and the common Jews these self-righteous religious leaders looked down upon!

Lazarus~ Common Jews like Jesus' disciples who never went through any Rabbinic School they only desire to memorize whatever those religious title chiefs tells them.

Rich Man~ The Pharisees, Sadducees, Scribes and other Jewish Rabbis. They have all the laws in their brains and can manipulate it to favour themselves. So it's what they knew won't affect them in anyway that the teach other Jews who aren't religious scholars.


Crumbs from Rich man's table~ The little things Pharisees and Sadducees tell their people to continue enslaving them as those poor in spirit, so Jesus gladdens the heart of the common Jews when he said "Blessed are the poor in spirit because the kingdom of heaven belongs to them" Matthew 5:3

Rich man's gate~ Jewish synagogues where the religious leaders continue to brainwashed their people with select verses from the scriptures to enslave them.

Sour on Lazarus's body~ The deplorable state of the Jewish nation at that time. Demons are everywhere terrorising God's people due to their spiritual condition.

From the heresy they taught you , were there Pharisees and Sadducees during the time of Moses .
The ordinary Jews and the Pharisees and co do have access to the synagogue . From your heresy , only the Pharisees and co are inside the synagogue. Since the place of Lazarus is outside the house of the rich man , that is , at the gate. And from the story of Lazarus & rich man in the Bible , did you read that the rich man used to come to the gate and communicate with the beggar ?

What can we say about you and your organization who said , '' Lazarus means ordinary Jews , rich Man's gate means synagogue , crumbs means teaching of the Pharisees , sour on Lazarus body means falling state of the Jews etc .

OK! where was the rich man's house located? Because Moses served as a prophet from the time he was sent to deliver the Israelites from slavery until his death on a mount Moses never got to the promised Land!
So where exactly did the rich man build his house (with gates) so that Lazarus was so poor amongst the Israelites in the wilderness to the point of going to sit at the rich man's gate?

I just made you to realise that prophets were with Moses during his time.

By saying , they have the Prophets and Moses does not mean Moses was living with them as at then ? It simply means they have the Laws of Moses and the Prophets to guide them.

Secondly you said "Abraham was still alive during the time Jesus was referring", the Bible is clear that Abraham and Moses weren't contemporaries.
Jesus said Abraham told the rich man that Moses and the prophets are with his brothers {Luke 16:29} do you know any prophet that lived at the same time with Moses?

Every parable Jesus gave in the Bible were clearly called PARABLES.

The Bible tells you that Lazarus used to be at the gate desiring to be fed from crumbs from the rich Man's table. Isn't that direct enough for you. That should tell you that the crumbs would be packed and be given to him at the gate. Do people bring in beggars into their houses to give them left over food ?

I did not say Abraham and Moses were of the same generation. I said as at the time Jesus was talking , Abraham was UNDERNEATH the earth and not in heaven.

There were so many Prophets that lived at the same time with Moses :

[26] But there remained two of the men in the camp, the name of the one was Eldad, and the name of the other Medad: and the spirit rested upon them; and they were of them that were written, but went not out unto the tabernacle: and they prophesied in the camp.

These Prophets were to assist Moses in his work with God.
