Good evening, distinguished ladies & gentlemen! Pls I need your inputs & suggestions to make an informed decision about my investment life.

I av been investing in TBs for d past 3 years with my hard-saved money. The capital is approx N1.1m. Since my 3rd year till now I returned from my youth service, I av been living on d yield as my pocket money.

Now, 3 months after nysc, no job, no viable business opportunity with very minimal risk & I'm fed up with d meagre yield on my TB investment even in d face of decline in d rate & my full assumption of personal & a little of family responsibilities.

My tb will mature next month. I av d mind of diverting my investment to uber. I'll buy a uber worthy car & gv it to a driver to drive on my behalf as I'm a complete novice in driving & on roads drives. I know next to nothing about uber too.

So, I need your inputs, pls. How good or bad is my intention? Those who have idea about uber especially on average weekly return to d car owners shld help me with such information too.


Your suggestions & inputs will be well appreciated.

Medium of instruction in southwest can be Yoruba...
Ditto for other regions with their respective native language....
There's is no national language in india either....
Each region uses its own regional language as medium of instruction in schools....
Yet those guys rule the tech and pharceutical industry even in USA and uk...
What i don't understand why even so called educated elites think this is impossible......
Something that was practiced in the past and proved very successful....
My dad and his generation were taught with Yoruba in the 60s...
Teachers wrote ISIRO on the blackboard when its time for maths lesson....

Are u an educator & linguist by training? That's how you guys will use mouth develop Nigeria on social media & if given opportunity, no concrete achievement.

That time u quoted they indicated "Isiro" on d board, it's only in primary schools level. It's still obtainable now. The approved curriculum stipulates local language shld be d lang of instruction at d primary level. IF U WERE TRAINED UP TO D UNIVERSITY LEVEL IN YORUBA, HOW WILL U BE ABLE TO PRACTICE YOUR DISCIPLINE IN OTHER REGIONS WITHIN D COUNTRY OR OUTSIDE NIGERIA?

HOW MANY OF D TERMINOLOGIES & JARGONS IN YOUR DISCIPLINE CAN U INTERPRET IN YOUR OWN MOTHER TONGUE?

THIS CAN'T BE ACHIEVED IN OUR VERY LINGUISTICALLY-DIVERSE COUNTRY.

On d suggestn to introduce local langs as a means of instructn in our schools; as a semi linguist, it's easier to suggest but highly difficult to implement, enforced & sustain it. No properly-schooled one will compare Indian, German, & Chinese linguistic atmospheres with dt of Nigeria. These countries have a nationalized indigenous lang which make it easy to apply such system in their respectv countries. Nigeria does not av a nationalized local lang. Till we get dt, the outcome of Prof Fafunwa research on d most suitable & effectv lang of instructn remains unimplementable. There are other reasons, but i can't type long essay as i'm typing with a small button phone.

Excuse me, who know if an education inclined-graduate but without TRCN certificate can be considered for recruitment as public sch teacher?

I need a free hand job like dt too.

I av never been lucky with ladies. Although, I'm introvert. The several attempts I made asking ladies out have been met with bitter rejection. I never had any serious relationship. Better still, no lady ever agreed to date me, no matter how sweet d friendship has been b4 I made a move on her.

This challenge has worsened my inferiority complex nature. Because of d rejection streak, I feel no one needs me.

I'll be 35 tomorrow. I'm South westerner.. I'm a graduate but currently less busy; but due to my lifestyles of never had any lady in my life b4 now, I'm able to av a reasonable savings. I'm desperately in need of a constructive & contributing life partner.

I even love this kind of rejection. It's straightforward and simple. She rejected him with reasons. I'm used to being rejected, perhaps due to my uncomely appearance or my simple background. But what I hate most is rejection without reasons. U can reject me for any reason, how ever u put it. But saying NO, NO & NO & U walk away, depresses me alot.

Be informed dt Nigerian version of MMM is back & has been working smoothly since March this year. Even people are investing in Millions now.

In his second term, he should concentrate more on human capital development. Imagine, no state representation in any national sporting event.

No state-sponsored football team. In d last national sport festival, Umahi & Ebonyi state had zero representation.

Come learn real hustling & discipline from me. I came from home dt found it difficult to pay N150 per term sch fees while myself & elder sister were in d secondary school. After we struggled to finish sec school, I dropped out straight into hustling world. Tried everything triable; from

hired farm hand for farmland clearing , making heaps, etc for farmers,

building site labourer,

block moulding,

N3k monthly but/pry sch teaching job,

other less dignifying jobs like carrying heavy loads on head for people for several years far away from my hometown though.

All these I did for over 12years. I ended up saving what lasted me through my uni days as I got admitted & went for my Bachelor degree.

Kudos to him anyway.

This acne cyst has been disturbing me really on my nose and after it got healed,it leaves scars and deep holes on my nose which makes me looks so embarrassed some times.

Don't say that. Body is different from each other. She might be taking care of her body who knows. How about all those head load carriers? I know a woman that's been carrying load on her head in mile 12 since the past 6 years at mile 12. Forget, body pass body!

U both are right. Neck & chest pains await her after she leaves d job. Those border guys dt carried bags of rice, pilee/bundles of frozen foods etc on their head for over 10 years @ seme & igolo, Benin Republic in d 90s & early 2000s can tell d tale better.

I was a head load carried at Igolo from '07 to '12 (5 years); carrying two bags of, or average of 7 cartoons of frozen foods per trip from Igolo to Idiroko border garage (20 mins trek with loads on my head o). I tell u all, I'm still feeling d pains till now.

I wish corrupt & electioneering cases will be this fast. Within 10days. But reverse is the case. Cases involving politicians will linger on till d masses forget & every party is happy: both the complainant, defendants & d third party.
