Fkj202004: Incomplete result means you missed a TMA or exam.
Carry over means you either failed the course or you didn't write exams/TMAs.
When one have incomplete result, it is also carry over and the student is expected to register the course(s) the next semester. Well said for the bold but contradictory. Carry over means, you sat for exams and failed. Incomplete means you missed the TMAs and/or the exams. In both cases of incomplete and CO (F), a student is required to re-write. But the difference is in the calculation of your GPA/CGPA. I think an Incomplete result will not be taken into consideration in calculating your CGPA while a CO will. Contrary opinion is welcome. Thanks for your response Fkj202004 |

Dwayne22: good morning sir, yesterday I had 3 papers at the same time but I was only able to meet up with just 2, does that mean a carry over for the one I didn't write even after summiting the TMA? Incomplete result it will be. It won't be a Carryover. |

Mubaraqq: Has anyone been able to register courses for msc. Public health I am highly interested in this. Last semester 2020/1, many courses were introduced but could not kick off because probably, the course materials as well as other things were not ready and the University shifted their start to this semester 2020/2 with the view that before now, they would have done the necessary things required for the start of those programs. Till now, no official information to students and prospective students in that regard. Students who registered for some of those programmes last semester were told that the money will be refunded back to their e-wallet. Can anyone here clarify if the newly introduced programmes have started e.g. M.Sc. Public Health, M.A. English etc. CC: Samisha500, Anthonyo, Breathetaker. FKJ202004 et al., ... |

parrotibaba: Firstly thanks for the answers
How do I defer my exams?
Secondly for starting afresh, what does she need to do?
Thank you once again Write to the Academic Registry through your Study Centre Director. That's all. Whenever u see ready, you return and do your registration for that semester and Exams registrations for those courses earlier registered. To start a fresh, re-apply into the preferred programme and forget about the former. That's all. |

parrotibaba: Guys can I defer my exams to next year?
Also someone wants to find out if it is possible to cancel the course she is currently doing and start a new course afresh? 1. Yes, you can defer the semester and continue anytime you are ready. 2. Yes, you can suspend the present and start another a fresh. Note however the the University does not allow running two programmes simultaneously. It's against the rules. |

The information is contained in Graduation Requirements for all programmes. 90TCE for some DE UG programmes and 140TCE for some UG programmes. |

Bobtobe: Hi guys How does an HND graduate apply at this school so as to upgrade to BSc? All DE admissions are to maximum of 200L as there are no 300L admission in NOUN. It means, your HND will get u admitted to a relevant course at 200L. |

yaki84: Performance don't win elections in Nigeria, sentiments do the work. Yahaya belly won cos of sentiment. Buhari won cos of sentiment, sentiment in the sense that if atiku wins he will want to go for reelection thereby restructuring the initial power rotating plan. Ambode lost out even before the first ballot was cast not because he performed woefully but cos of sentiment. Ikpeazu won cos of sentiment, ayade won also cos of sentiment. Because of sentiment? Which country are u coming from? Bello won because INEC, NPF etc all used force to change the will of the people. Have u seen where they use helicopter to rig elections before? It's in Kogi. I am sure u have heard the US has banned him and some other persons because of that rigged election. |

Fkj202004: Students were given this information about this earlier this year. Probably you didn't get to hear of it. They only reiterated this because students still went to centres to write as visiting students when they have been told earlier that visiting students won't be allowed except paramilitary personnel.
Change of Study centre have closing date every semester You don't get it. Some persons who changed Centres since had their Centres reverted to the old Centres without due communication. |

choicesam: this school has confused staffs that doesn't know their job...I changed my study centre since 2018 to Lagos study centre where I have been writing my exams now I was not allowed to write this exam and was told to go back to my previous study centre to write the exam. then why the change of study centre? I quite agree with u that many persons who changed their Centres had their Centres reverted for reasons best known to them and it's a pity some persons are suffering for that. If you check your portal, what Centre does yours show you belong, your old or Lagos? |

ajayidavid99: RE: Guys please what happens if u skip a course - an Elective course, for MSc especially wanna know the implications, thnx! First, Electives count only when your TCE is not up to the required Minimum TCE required for graduation. What u need to find out is the minimum TCE required for graduation from the programme you are referring to and the implication of leaving out the said Elective(s). That's the rule. If you leave out the electives and can meet up with the minimum required TCE, u will graduate without the said elective(s). |
