Do you do exercise?
How about masturbation?
Is your BP normal too? And you have to watch your weight and food intake.

Thanks for the response.

It's B.Sc Computer science and I had good results.
I was done with 100level (1st and second semesters)
You can continue and you should consider continuing instead of starting afresh. You will be charged as an old student and that is also less fees going forward.

@Enskynelson

Please is it possible to continue a programme I halted 7 years ago? Or should I start all over (same course)?
Hope anything wouldn't be affected if I continue? Because I'm thinking that's a long time. Please advice.

I'm still able to access my account/details on the portal. TIA.
If you had a good result that your wish to continue, YES, you can continue. Kindly provide the details of the programme, eg. B.Sc Information Technology so we can look at it and well as how many semesters you did previously. There have been changes in course codes and other things and it can be sometime confusing to know the one u did before.

Christianity Etc › Why Pastor Adeboye Sat On Royal Chair – Olugbon by Enskynelson(op): 8:15pm On Dec 25, 2023
The Olugbon of Orile-Igbon, His Royal Majesty, Oba Francis Alao, has cleared the air on the heated criticism that trailed the visit of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye who sat on one of his chairs in the palace.

His reaction was a response to avalanche of criticisms by some people condemning the monarch for allowing it.

He said, “My attention has been drawn to different types of reactions to a photo circulating on social media where the G.O of RCCG, Pastor Adeboye sat on one of the palace chairs.

“Let me set the record straight by reminding all that Pastor Adeboye was in Orile-Igbon for an evangelism programme which held on the playground of Olugbon High School.

“His chopper landed in an open space within the palace from where I received him to my living room. We spent some time talking about Nigeria and Orile-Igbon before we moved to the venue of the programme where thousands of people already gathered.

“As a mark of honour, I offered one of the ceremonial royal chairs that are usually reserved for top dignitaries to Pastor Adeboye to be used at the programme. It should be noted that the chair is not the particular one that is reserved for the Olugbon, which can not be shared with anyone because of its spiritual and historical significance.

“The royal chairs are provided in palaces to honour high-ranking dignitaries, not to desecrate the throne.

“I, therefore, seek the understanding of all those expressing concern about the issue. There is a traditional royal chair that is meant for only the Kabiyesi, and there are traditional ceremonial chairs for very important persons. The throne of the ancient town of Orile-Igbon remains sacrosanct.”

Traditional Council

Earlier, the monarch said, “In the last 10 years, we do not have a central state traditional council as a result of all the past issues. But he(Governor Makinde) promised that in this second term, he is going to bring it to light again and things will be restructured.
“Everybody in the whole state; the five zones we have in Oyo State will fully participate and I pray for him that it will be done as he wishes.
“He meant it, I know and believe in him so much. That would happen soon, probably from next month by special grace of God.”

There is no study Centre in the Head Office, except you just want to send someone to go there for you.
But what I think is that, some of those services have closed for the year and hence no response. I have sent an SMS on that line for a student before and I got a response.

Since it's 2.17, it means she's not qualified?
Why are u not involving the owner of the result? Just give the above feedback to the person and she will know if she's qualified or not cos she will know whether she has up to Lower Credits or not.
Lower Credit is 2.50 to 2.99.

@Enskynelson, thank you for your swift answer....I have clicked the link...what is close to statement of result on the link is notification of result...Will it suffice? How do I get the notification, will it be sent to my registered email. Also, if I apply for the notification can I proceed to apply for the transcript immediately or I have to wait to get the notification of result before applying, reason is the evaluating body(WES) request that I either upload the statement of result or certificate before they can conclude the evaluation. Meanwhile, when did your name come out on the graduation list? Hope not the December 15th list. Those may have yet to be uploaded but the other one, I can confirm that theirs have been uploaded.

Thank you.
The statement of result is the same as notification of result and it costs 5k. It will be send to your email when you apply for it.

Please, i want to know at what point I can apply for transcript. I have seen my name on the graduation list but I cannot wait till March/April 2024 for the next convocation.

What steps do I take to apply for statement of result, is it through my study centre or I can do it myself online?

Thank you.
You can apply for your transcripts and Statement of Result already.

I am quite sure that that is the number for transcripts unless maybe no one on the desk to answer the calls at the moment and because of that switched off.

Good morning 🌞 everyone, please is there anyone schooling or working at Abuja study centre here? I processed my transcript, they haven't deliver it since November 18th, making a month today. I have sent mail to noun support, I keep checking my tracking ID, it keeps saying awaiting payment confirmation. Someone that's staying at Abuja study centre here should kindly help me ooo
Have you tried calling the helpline? 08115032088
Those in Abuja Study Centre cannot help in this case because this is not handled at the study centre but at the NOUN Academic Registry in the HQ. Call the line and provide the details. Call during working hours.

Don't be confused. Verification takes about 10 mins. If you go there by January, you will be verified in January. You asked if verification will still be opened by April and I said "most likely". But the implication of doing verification by April means you are doing verification close to the end of the semester and you may not be able to meet up with registration for the semester that begins January.

Please when is close of the semester u are referring to? So if d start January now, application and the verification can still be on till like April
The current semester ends by end of this month.
Exams is expected to begin by April. If you do verification then, you will be doing it very close to the exams.

Good morning all.
Just wanted to know,How long is a semester in NOUN?
About 4 months. There are usually 2 complete semesters in a year.

Chriswazo:
Nawa o... but then is it also possible there will be further engagements that will also necessitate the physical presence again?

Secondly, I think d verification will come after one has gotten admission right? So the application can be completely done online and if admitted, it will now be for the physical verification to get Matric number..

Is the date for the January application known now and how long is the usual application period before is cosed?

it also possible there will be further engagements that will also necessitate the physical presence again

Not any for now. Unless introduced later.

Yes, application for admission is 100 per cent online. Once it starts, it normally take until close to the semester exams before it ends.

Chriswazo:
Meaning one must have to visit the physical center to complete reg. So what of for those abroad, so one need to come back to Nigeria for this?
Physical verification is not been moved online completely as an applicant is required to be physically present with hard copies of his original certificates and documents in order to be given matriculation number. It is after this you can start registration which can be done from any location.
Education › Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Enskynelson(m): 6:18pm On Dec 15, 2023
mimini:
Thank you for your response. When you talk about verification, what does that mean and how long does it take?
Verification comes immediately after a successful online. You take the original of your certificates to the study centre with photocopies along with passport photograph. Verification is the process of checking if you present what makes you qualified for the admission. It's currently closed till January. It takes about 10mins. After verification, you will be given a matriculation number which you can use to register on the student portal. On the portal, you will be able to fund your wallet and do your registration.

Please if one is not in the country and cannot appear in person to the study center, what should the person do especially because this is suppose to be a distance learning program, and encourages distant learners to key into the program.
Another thing is, how are seminars done in a distance?

Please I want to know so that I can take a decision on my studies. Thank you.
Defense can be done online. Seminar and Project is a function of you communicating with your supervisor and this can be done via email. The only thing is that you should get verified before leaving.

Hello... You are not the one to upload seminar and project. Go to your study Centre with soft copies and submit for upload. Do this as soon as possible.
