Hiploko: MY SITUATION
Good day all,
Please i enrolled in the NOUN MBA program in 2015, did 2 semesters but life happened and i abandoned the program since then.
Now i want to complete the program but don't know where to start from.
From change of study center, to how to register and all
Please i need help and info on how to start
It's not difficult. You can continue the programme this semester. You need to at least remember your matriculation. Go to nouonline.net Click students Click register Fill the form and submit If you see success, then you are good. If otherwise, kindly let me know and I will let u know the next step. For change of study Centre, officially, you have to go to the former study centre and fill the form and upload the form to support.nou.edu.ng under tickets before u can get through. If however you are far from the former study centre and need help, send a DM. If you want to know where you stopped and you don't have your past results, send a DM too. Cheers. Cheers. |

ifemaco: So a new student starting with 2nd semester can take both exams from 1st and 2nd semester, with no limitation to the amount of credit load right? A new student though joining in 2023/2 semester is but a student in first semester and cannot access second semester courses. The Second Semester of 2023 that NOUN is, is a session that contains all semesters (first, second or third as in the case of Masters students) depending on when the student is starting. NOUN runs all semesters concurrently hence they admit students every semester unlike the conventional universities. |

Career › Re: N75,000 Monthly Take Home Salary, How Much Should I Be Saving by Enskynelson(m): 2:47pm On Jun 26, 2023 |
JOHNFBOSCO: Good day Nairalanders. I Recently got this job, after several attempts of applying both online and offline. My monthly salary is average #75,000 per month, I used the word "Average" because its not static. Sometimes it could lower, as low as 60,000 and hardly surpass 90,000...so it's a commission work.
And we all know commission work is not reliable, you could be fired anytime. So please my question is, with the Nigeria standard of living, couple with the recent economic hardship, so now, the question is how much is ideal to save per month from this Salary.
To and fro from my work place is around 850 per day. We report to office 3 or 4 times in a week sometimes. I noticed that at tmes I even struggled to survive on 60k a month, minus miscellaneous oooo...chai e no easy (p.s. single and I stay alone) Try and survive with the money first. After a month or two, you will know whether you can save or not. Reason is because, na you know the living condition where u are. While someone in a rural area spending nothing on housing and transportation may advise u save 60k per month, that money is mere survival fee even for a single man with no other responsibility living in some Cities and Towns. |

ifemaco: Alright, thanks.
I can see exams are only done twice a year. Are there limitations to the number of courses one can take per exam period? You cannot take beyond the semester you are. For instance if you are in first semester of your programme, u cannot take second semester courses. If however you are in second semester, you can take the second semester courses and from the 1st semester courses. This means you can not go faster than the calendar. It used to be possible but was stopped in 2021. |

Oladapo3971: @samisha I am a HND graduate and done with NYSC Can I use my OND to be admitted into 200l in NOUN? And how many years? Is it OND or ND from the polytechnic? With your ND, you can get 200L admission to NOUN. With your HND you can get 300L provided the courses are related. Minimum of lower credit in both cases. |
