I really can't give the best advice to my 24-year-old sister struggling with the frustrations of a married professor in his late 40s who wants to have a sexual affair with her.

The lecturer handles two different courses, each having a three-credit load and she is afraid of being failed for not complying with his sexual advances.

Having given many excuses for not meeting up for a date and refusing his gifts, tonight I found her crying after talking to him over the phone and it seems he is upset about the whole situation.

Let her be keeping evidences... Download voice recorder and install. He cannot be above the law of Nigeria. If the University close a deaf ear, the NPF will not. Let her gather enough evidence.

Thanks for your response as always. Please can I change supervisor?

1. You can anytime but, it can hamper when the result will be out. The deadline is not 20th May please. It's not even in May.
2. If u submit after deadline, you won't see your result by the end of this semester rather, at another time.

Hello

Please I want to know if I can use HND statement of result to apply for PGD at NOUN

YES, u can.

Job scam is not just a thing of online or social media alone. There are job scams too even offline. Job scams are not perpetrated by individuals but also by governments. I will give these instances to buttress my point:

In 2016, I saw an advert in the Kogi State Government-owned Graphics Newspaper. It was vacancies in the State-owned Fertilizer Company located at Agbeji very close to Anyigba. The advert said the Fertilizer Company was said to have been given to a private company and was now renamed Emerald Fertilizer Company. I applied and was invited for the aptitude test which I passed. I was invited for the medicals and they forced us to do medical in their affiliated make-shift lab. The number of persons were massive and they cashed out. I was invited for the interview which I did as well. Now, since 2016 till the last time I checked, 2019, the company was not working, nothing was happening there.

The second one is by Kaduna State Government. My brother applied for a job in their State Civil Service job. He was very qualified was invited for aptitude tests online. He was qualified for the first, was invited for the second. He did and was successful. He was also invited for written exams and he had to travel all the way to Kaduna. He did and was successful, after that came the pandemic and the Governor suspended everything. After the pandemic was over, instead of continuing from where they stopped, they started advertising a fresh.

Kogi State Teaching Service advertised vacancies late last year. The requirements were high, you must be registered with TRCN. Some of my friends applied and followed through the rigorous process and we're employed. It's been several months now, they are just there, no posting, nothing aside once in a while they are made to go and submit things from one office to the other...

Imagine government advertising vacancies they have already chosen their people for the positions. They allow people to waste their resources and time applying for such jobs. What a scam!

The biggest of job scams is to employ someone, he is working and the worker is owed his salaries. Some States in the country often count 2, 3, 4, 5 and more months of owed salaries.

In conclusion, the government is the grand master of jobs scams in Nigeria.

Yea.
I mentor many.
I have transferred my skills successfully to some willing persons.
I have trained many to be IT compliant.

that was what i was told at wuse 2 study centre yesterday

Today is 16 May. The information should be incorrect.

ttomexy:
I was told at my study center that closing date is Saturday 20th of may

I don't think so. Project moderation is 19th to 23rd June. If they close it in May, it is rather too earlier. Kindly confirm your information as this sounds so incorrect. Project submission will likely be on till middle of June.

Leaders are the people like you or are they ghosts? Most people who talk and say things online are even worse leaders in their smaller circles.

It isn’t about leadership mostly it is attitudinal change. A lawyer today was watching a porn where a court proceeding was going on. Isn’t that a leader in some settings?

You give a phone repairer to fix a phone for you, he gave you two days, the second day you went to his shop to get your phone he gave you an alibi. Told you to call him the second day that it would be ready. You told him before you left that you lived in about 1 hour Journey distance to him. U put a call through to him the day he asked you to call him and he refused to pick his calls. You called for two days without picking after he had picked once and knew it was you. You went there angrily to get your phone back, even with the said distance and cost but he told you that he was still busy trying to fix it. But yet to fix. What’s stopping him from picking his calls and tell you what’s happening. It is either he asked to you come and get your dead phone or tell you to give him more days. Isn’t that a leader in a circle?

I don’t talk about leadership anyhow. People’s attitude need to change before they can ever have the best. Youths need to stop discussing stupid issues online to be taken seriously.

How can the body be right when the head is not correct?

HAkorehdeh:
I couldn't agree more! We have genuinely good people in this country. But unfortunately, the system has been rigged never to favor the good people. Now we have to either settle for the least bad leaders or pray that God touches their hearts.

The system is not good for the good people. Good people are most likely not to head most offices in the public sector. Promotions are often for those that are able to bribe their way or align with the corrupt superior officers. You get sacked easily if you find yourself in a situation and refuse to compromise. Good army officers are most likely to get posted to the hot zones during wars, not because they want them to put things right but with the aim of them losing their life in the process. Indeed an insane head can not have a sane body! I hope that one day, good will thrive over evil in Nigeria.

Nice nice
Nigeria indeed has genuinely good people.

The leaders mostly elected through corrupt means are the major problem we have. Just look at our electoral system from the primaries to the main election. You will understand why we don't get the best of leaders. It takes the most corrupt of them to 'win' the elections. One of the running mate of one of the major parties once said Osinbajo was a good man and good men like him don't deserve to be presidents.
