I just pointed it out to CapitalCee. Fred was dragged all over the pitch by Traore leaving Pogba alone. If Bruno maintained his position, one of Moutinho or Neves would have had to sit back or one of their CB push up freeing up space for our attackers but no, Bruno must be the furthest man forward for whatever reason.

The reality on ground now is that these are the people we have at the club. Same way I have made my peace with the manager. I've always maintained that Fred can't be the DM and if he has to be there because there's no one else, then the team should adjust to that. I'll be glad to see a Bissouma but if that doesn't happen, then we can't isolate the midfield and expect a miracle. Pogba was jogging at some point. On multiple occasions in that game James, Greenwood (when Cavani came on), Bruno and even Sancho were in the midfield area helping out when we were defending.

Of course Fred and Pogba's possession numbers will be high based on how we like to recycle the ball between the pivot CMs and the two CBs.

Lol Pogba now likes to recycle ball with the CBs. There's plenty instances when the midfield held the ball and everyone was running forward hoping for a looped ball and some miracle. Even Bruno that should come closer, collect the ball and create quality chances. That's why Wolves were able to deal with our threat comfortably.

If Bruno had occupied that position illustrated above, no way will Neves and Mourinho have the freedom to dictate the play. Bruno left that position and it became a 2 vs 2 midfield battle when in all honesty it was supposed to be 2 vs 3 in midfield.

My brother, Pogba is finding it difficult becuase Fred was like Wolves 12th man, he cant find his man, he is clumsy, he is poor on the ball and cant control a bag of cement, and surprisingly he is being dribbled every single time. Put Kante or Carrick there Pogba will flourish ala France. Like I said before we need a goal and Bruno us desperate for that he is our go-to-man, you cant deny that Bruno is a team player. This Bruno slander is outrageous. My man is bursting his body playing his heart out for the team and you guys are trying to push some flimsy agenda against him.

Please take away his Pks and assists from setplays and let's see if anyone apart from maybe Rashford will come close to him in that team. People fail to notice that in our system Bruno is practically a forward and is regularly involved with our forward press.

Also, have we not been complaining about playing two CMs in the pivot that are not vital in our attack play? Why do we need Bruno to help "combat" other midfielders especially when we play against other teams that utilizes 2 CMs like us.

Lastly the age of having an AM that link the midfield and attack is fast eroding, most teams build up play with their full backs/wing backs, wingers and deep lying playmaker.

If Bruno is a forward then we need another person in that midfield so Bruno can play his forward. It's that simple

The Coach doesn't want to keep the ball. Maybe he doesn't trust VDB physicality, I'm not sure what the problem is. VDB should be able to play Kroos role. Stay close to the DM or CDM and occasionally find some great passes. Pogba should not be the one doing this

The issue is Pogba was not combative and disciplined enough to cover for Fred clumsiness. I know you will say i am trying to make excuses for Bruno, but Bruno was like the CF/SS in that match and at 0-0 he is the person Ole is banking on to fashion out a goal, i dont see why Neves/Moutinho should overun Fred and Pogba that Bruno must have to come and help them. Pogba could not get a foothold on the midfield however, he cannot account for a launched clearance from wolves which Fred could not control under absolutely no pressure, he simply cannot find his man, he cant recieve any ball passed to him, he was out of sync with the game entirely, ok mark kwanu, no way Neves and Moutinho were running rings over him, bypassing him like he os not there. I am not exonerating others of blame but Pogba recieves balls finds his man well and better even under pressure. For example Our game Vs Villareal it was Pogba/Mctominay pivot, they did not overunn our midfield infact Mctominay was our MOTM.

At a time when Wolves were all over our midfield, being physical and all, the team could have done better to keep the ball and pass around, making wolves team tire out and frustrated. But they were always in a hurry to get forward, losing the ball easily.

Like I said two days ago, that double pivot is very important, especially against difficult opponents. Pogba should not be in that double pivot position. There are no benefits in putting him there
