When I said I didn't learn anything after our last match against Wolves, this is it. We may win, but our attack is still terrible. Off the ball movements, quick touch and pass to beat press, players arriving at strategic places to meet the ball in the box, all non existent. Our press is still terrible after 3 years under this manager. We need to work on all these things if not we will just flatter to deceive and the quality of the team will keep us just around for some people to masturbate on, but fail on when it matters most.

We're not going to win anything playing like that. The young boys are attackers and we didn't really attack like that. Didn't see enough good movements, quality passes, threatening plays, defense splitting passes etc.

With the way we played, I didn't see enough of our youngsters to be convinced they're able to play valuable roles for us next season. I didn't learn anything

As the days passes, I feel less confident about our chances of getting a silverware this season. It's been three years and what we can come up with is simple style

Tuan may have put up a solid performance against PSG but we were defensive for major parts of the game. He didn't have to start attack or play a high line with plenty spaces for opposition attackers to run into. For him to really succeed here, he needs to be able to adapt to these circumstances and I'm not sure I have seen enough of that yet. We want to be dominating games, playing high lines and have our fb roam forwards a lot. Can Tuan deal with that responsibility of finding himself alone with a lot of spaces?

Bailly has been erratic, but so has Lindelof been. Those two much more than Maguire. If Bailly needs enough games in the side to cut out those errors, he is not ready to play for a top side. You get your game and own it, nobody will give you that time to get your groove back. Lindelof may get bullied off the ball once in a while, but overall he hasn't been bad. We were doing okay with him and Maguire before Maguire got injured.

For VDB, I'm almost very sure he has no future under Ole. Their game style does not match each other at all. VDB wants to play a patient game, with lots of passes and movements. We currently lack good movements in this team, except once in a while it works out. Most of the time, they just want to play a fast and rushed game. For me, this is down to the coach, but then again every coach have their style and they don't need to change it for one player. They can just replace that player.

Tuanzebe put up the best defensive performance of any Manchester United defender against Mbappe and Neymar and after that, what next, he returned to the bench. How do you gain momentum when the coach doesn't play you often? Lindelof will have a bad game yet Ole will still pick Jim for the next one.

If Ole allows for fair competition I'm quite sure Bailly and even Tuanzebe will push Lindelof to the limits for a place in the team...

Expectations from defenders are different when playing with the ball and without the ball

The outside was always the danger, not the inside. Lindelof and De Gea had the inside covered if the ball drops there.

Bissaka didn’t even know Bryan was on the outside . He never saw him until the last moment. He’s very poor. He has conceded about a dozen goals like that previously so it’s a habitual weakness.
