Even airmark knows that what's happening in Madrid, Spain is a disgrace. I mean they both play the left wing and Perez is bidding over 200m for Neymar. I won't be surprised to see Hazard out of the season on injury if Neymar makes the move to Madrid

Pogba played in a midfield three with Matuidi and Kante in the world cup. I guess they all sat deep.

Then you forget that France more or less sat deep and tried to hit opponents with counter. They were not fanciful, they didn't try to control the matches. But you don't expect us to play the same way do you?

Stop all this walling, Pogba is our best player but that does not mean he is an alpha Omega, he might even be the worst player if he in Lingard position. Pogba assisted from that position in our last match though he was almost non existent before those two assists.

Against Chelsea, he didn't concern himself with controlling the midfield, he just wanted to try things and we saw how Chelsea dominated the game. He would hold the ball and want to run with it. You can't do that as a midfielder if you're tasked with controlling the midfield. If you don't know the difference then I can't help you.

Rashford is more reliable when it comes to penalties.
This is not the first time Pogba has missed a penalty, it's just that in previous ones, we were already a goal or two up when he missed. He cost Lukaku two hattricks because of this.

Dybala is not creative abeg. He too needs others to do the hard work. He just wants to be in the right place at the right time to score. He's not who we need there

Pogba was very good in this match. He controlled the midfield but it cost us our creativity in attack. We would have troubled wolves more if he was played in Lingard position. We need someone to pair Tom in the middle so Pogba can join the attack. He's easily our most creative player and one of the most creative players in the league. He shouldn't be wasting away in the center

While I'm not holding brief for Perriera, bossing the midfield is a joint work. Nobody should be losing the balls anyhow and everyone at the right place to receive pass.

there is something called making a statement. There are certain teams you need to beat to put fear in other opponents. It’s called psychological warfare. There’s a reason teams set up to sit back against Liverpool and City, that alone already put both teams at an advantage.

We need to beat Liverpool at best get a draw after a good performance to make upcoming opponents wary of us. It puts us at an advantage psychologically. Burnley will never play City the way they played us yesterday.

Emphasis on Liverpool cos we play them next

Start scoring 3 goals plus against smaller teams, you will get that fear factor.

I want to ask. With the slow pace of our game particularly the midfield don’t u think Liverpool will outrun us?

Also I’m not particularly impressed with the vision of some of our midfielders, most often than not the opponent easily predict their passes. Also they hardly pick out players running into open space.

Just my observation. Cos yes we won but it’s a game we could have lost too or shared points with Burnley. I’m glad we got away with our shortcomings but we have to note we can’t get lucky week in week out.

I don't get why the emphasis is on Liverpool. They are just one of other 19 teams. If you do well against others it will be a very good season. It will be difficult to match Liverpool and city fitness at this point.
