Those ones profit from the quality of the deliveries and not necessarily their height advantage. Mctominay and Lindelof will win most aerial balls against Aguero, Walker and Fernandinho but the problem is they won't even bother trying most times.

You are not considering if these players can be easily displaced or pushed away during set pieces.

If you're going toe to toe against Aguero and co when contesting for aerial balls, then you have to be at an advantage or stronger. Is it Tom and Lindelof you want to bet on? What you call quality deliveries can be relative, but the attacker ability to stand his ground and not be displaced during the tussle for the ball is key.

Martial occasionally tries to play as a target man, but there are things that just can't happen, he's better as an Inside Forward (Thanks to FM 11).

They need to train set-pieces and crossing from open play, because it's very poor and that's James style of play.

James should be on the left if the coach wants him to cross always but he plays him on the right.

I hope they can make good use of set pieces. The threats we have in the team when it comes to set pieces are Pogba, Maguire and Smalling. I can't think of any other. Only two out of those three starts. That's too poor

City put in a lot of crosses even when Aguero and Jesus are not the biggest CFs you'd find but the quality of deliveries from KDB, Mendy (if fit), Walker and the rest is what sets them apart.

City players have the quality to be unpredictable, you don't know if it will be a high cross, low cross or no cross at all. We don't have that quality of players here, we can't demand that from them. We are just giving ourselves headache wishing our team plays like that. I think the coach is trying to play short quick passes until a player is put through on goal but the quality of the final passes is still a work in progress

The team is currently running more than they did last season, that's on the coach. They are pressing and winning balls as soon as they lose them instead of falling back, that's on the coach. But the quality of final passes, if a player does not have it, nothing a coach can do. He will have to look bring in new players.

If the team has poor fitness, can't play with each other, can't win ball back, I blame the coach

Everyone knows Mou to be a loud mouthed idîots and I’m only using him as a reference today because while the fans were turning on him last season and supporting the players, I had maintained that these set of players are shite also and not just the manager needs to go but we need to get quality players in. If you think 2 players will make a difference in this team, the result is what you are seeing.

Blame for what exactly? If you talking about yesterday loss, I'm not blaming anybody for that. I can clearly see the difference between what we have now and what we had last year. The result was unfortunate, we had a couple of penalty decisions go against us, we lost a penalty. These things happen and it's bad luck but does not happen every time. This was not how it used to be. I have been around the game long enough to know that it's not every time we look for who to blame. Same reason I didn't blame Pogba for losing his penalty on Monday. These things happen and on another day, the result won't be the same
