you seem to be intentionally dodging his main question, here it is again And you didn't answer the question as to why we should be using church offerings to start businesses?
The businesses belong to who? Years back I know that RCCG full time pastors pay much lesser for their kids to attend their secondary schools and the case may be the same even in the university. Members are placed on scholarships but you don't know. Accommodation built in the camp is so cheap with guaranteed electricity and water. I know this because I tried getting one last year but I couldn't because I am not a member. Their maternity homes all over the place offer quality service at cheaper rates, they even attend to non Christians. People are employed in all of those businesses maybe you don't know

pls.. We can see their universities but we've never seen the hospitals, especially here in kogi.. So, pls show me names or links or pictures of their hospitals

And you didn't answer the question as to why we should be using church offerings to start businesses?

And my stand still remains, these churches have unlimited resources from offerings and tithes from all over the country, school fees shouldn't be expensive
What should be used? Loans from banks?

And please how do you know it's unlimited? Do you know what it costs to run a university? Do you know what it cost to pay lecturers yearly and sponsor researches? It is very easy to criticize from the outside but when you are involved you realize things are much tougher

these churches have access to almost unlimited funds.. Private jets running into 5..by the way.. Since when should we start businesses with offering money?
A hospital that subsidizes bills for people (Xtians or Muslims) should have been the best thing to do.. But our Pastors want to make profit..
RCCG have hospitals all over the country with subsidized bills, do your research

Even me wey no dey go church know say the people you mentioned were not trying to pay tithe before they died.
They made a pledge, not tithe, and were dishonest in redeeming the pledge.
The reason that infuriated God to kill them was because they pledged willingly and later wanted to game the system.
Moreover, let's assume it was tithe that they were trying to pay, did the apostles receiving it then use it to buy new donkeys and chariots for themselves? Did they not share it among the poor and the needy in the congregation?
LOL! Of course I know that wasn't tithe but they brought money to church. In fact they were selling their properties and not bringing just 10% but all. Whether will call it tithe or offering or contribution what is the difference? The point is this didn't start today whether tithe or offering or pledge.

Everyone with common sense know that not every act was recorded in the Bible. And there are lots of good carried out by churches today but they are not considered news worthy

Don't mind them jare. It is also the fact that many so called educated Nigerians don't know history at all. Some of them would come and tell you about how missionaries of old sponsored education yet not know that missionaries of old were sponsored by their governments.
There's nothing like free education. Somebody is definitely paying for it unless the teaching and non teaching staff are working pro bono

HAVE YOU EVEE READ YOUR BIBLE BEFORE ? OR YOU JUST SWALLOW UP ALL THE JUNK YOUR PASTOR GIVES YOU ?

TIthe is 10% of what you have... Was it 10% that was demanded in Ananias case ? Or for them to sell everything ?

You dropped ur whatsapp number... I will use it as connection point to pray for God to open your eyes.... Your brain has been washed
Which one is even more? Ordinary 10% you're complaining, so you want people to bring more than that? Now I get you brother.

Folks like you are the reason these pastors scam people.
Go and read your bible...Ananias and Saphira were not paying tithes....the early Christians agreed to sell all they had and pool the money together to live in communion with each other.
So When Ananias and Saphira agreed to it and then reneged on it, the angel of God came in to keep them to what they swore.

And do your pastor share his wealth with you ? Does he share his house and car and food with you ? Then stop mentioning Ananias and Saphira because during that time, everybody in the church lived together, prayed together, ate together, and shared everything equally in communion.

Go and read your bible mbok
Yes it was not tithe but it was a contribution. You can give it any name you like but people made such contributions then and no it wasn't in the old testament.

So you mean they didn't have their separate houses at all but live together? What Annanias and his wife sold was it their house? LOL

Yes they share their wealth. The things they share to the poor and needy didn't come from you.

pls I'd like you to enlighten me on why their university tuitions are so expensive?
Do you have an idea on how much it costs to run a standard primary and secondary school not to talk of universities? Do you know how many times they have tried to increase tuition fee of public universities? Government is currently groaning on what it cost to run its federal universities which even have poor infrastructures. These things cost serious money

TITHE WAS SPECIALLY FOR THE LEVITES, who were specially ordained by God to act as Mediators to his people here on earth.
Jesus christ came in and stood as the mediator so we never have to be slaves no more to tithing
