Wait. What kind of hypocrisy is that? When they wanted SUVs, why didn't they go for Innoson or Nigerian Assembled Vehicles? This Senate has been playing to the gallery and it is becoming nauseating. The HOR have been doing a better job so far. I am disappointed in Saraki, Ben Bruce, Shehu Sani and StarBoy Dino. I actually believed in them...
You don't even understand what you're saying.

But the bill is not complete. What's the punishment for offenders?

Christianity Etc › Re: Objectivity Versus Sentiments: Much Ado About The Use Of Hijab by eph12(m): 10:36am On Jun 16, 2016
Toeyoursea:
I think the scrap of uniforms will certainly be the best solution, because in fairness to those against the use of hijab on uniform, the hijab distorts the essence of uniforms.

On the other hand, if government were scrap uniforms, Muslim females will still go to school in their hijab. The same can not be said with the church robes.
Yea true but then there won't be any complaints and we can put our energy to good usr
Politics › Re: "Nigerian Lawmakers In Sexual Misconduct" - Entwistle, US Ambassador To Nigeria by eph12(m): 10:11am On Jun 16, 2016
AnakinSkywalker:
While I believe Nigerian Rep Members and Senators are the most morally debased on the planet, I want to state that verbal evidence/claims might not be enough for a prosecution or enough to convince me.

Anyone can claim anything. And anyone can be paid/influenced to say anything.

But if you are convinced then next time charge them with sexual harassment, soliciting and disorderly conduct. Even if it doesn't stick at least they would have been shamed. The Police would have led them on with undercover police women and arrest them for Soliciting.

To the U.S., don't ever give a Nigerian Politician a second chance. They are scum and are not worth it. You see how they are running their mouths in Nigeria because they were let go?
They can't be charged to court. The result will be disastrous if they loose. They can be sued for character assassination and may be made to pay huge money. The best they can do is to set trap for them and get solid proof.
Christianity Etc › Re: Objectivity Versus Sentiments: Much Ado About The Use Of Hijab by eph12(m): 9:50am On Jun 16, 2016
Some people just trying to be mischievous. Don't know how the wearing of hijab is a threat to the existence of some Christians. Religion is a big problem in this country and it will always keep us in bondage unless we take extreme measures. Combine poverty hunger lack with religious fanaticism and the result you get is always disastrous.
On the other hand that court ruling may lead to other court rulings that will be a threat to our belief togetherness compatibility and national unity. I for one will support scrap of school uniforms.

Politics › Re: The Three Changes Nigeria Needs, By Muhammadu Buhari by eph12(m): 8:28am On Jun 15, 2016
This president does not need to do all at once. He should just do a scale of preference. Electricity should top every list of priorities. Give Nigerians 18hrs light daily and there won't be any opposition for a very long time. Things will begin to fall in place and everyone will be productive with constant electricity.

In ibafo Ogun state where I live a company wanted to tar some parts of the road but the community refused unless they pay some money. Right now no single tarred road here. So your point about Niger Delta is useless.
Port Harcourt, Asaba, Warri, Uyo have some level of urban development which some states in the SW don't have.
Though I support the FG to retrieve back that 13billion

TheGoodJoe:

A Maritime University is very important because a lot of people in that region work as Mariners. This University will bring more professionalism to that area of work.

I believe we should stand by the cancellation of the contract and get the retrieval of the money going. As soon as the EFCC is on it officially, Governor Amaechi should propose and lobby for the Establishment of a Maritime University in the Niger Delta.

He knows how important this project is in the heart of the Niger Deltans. That will be a plus for this government in the eyes of the people of the region.
Bros abeg carry your wahala and go. You don dey give me headache already

This is beyond Inflation. This is pure siphoning. The money gone was enough to build the University.
Bros you have point and how you choose to see this. Well we will see how this plays out at the end. I just hope that you're not trying to say if this money can't be retrieved then they should kiss the project good bye. Am not from that region so I don't know how important it is to them.

Because it is more expensive getting dollar in cash.
That's the point they are trying to make. If they don't do it that way they will charge you same rate as bdc and you will scream so instead they want you to go get it yourself so you don't insult them when you use your cards.
Politics › Re: Kachikwu Vs Amaechi: I Disagree With Kachikwu, Retrieve Money First by eph12(m): 6:38pm On Jun 14, 2016

There is a reason why Hon. Amaechi is one of the best performing governors in the history of the Niger Delta, if not the best. He does what is best for the people.

Let us retrieve the money from these crooks. Then we put pressure on Hon. Amaechi to establish a befitting Maritime University in the Niger Delta region.
By us you mean? By the way hope you know that there are so many other contracts that were very inflated? I hope say conclusion is drawn in those ones too? Or will you ask me to name them?
