I think what happened was that there was fear among the marketers that money owed by the government won't be paid by the incoming administration. This made them hoard the fuel as they needed to secure their own future going forward post-Jonathan. |

enlightenedmind: Revenue from where now? And even when you get this money where will you refine the oil? NIGERIA HAS SO MANY PROBLEMS AND TRUST ME LIGHT AND FUEL IS NOT ONE OF THEM. Haba! What are you saying? Solve electricity problem and you have solved 90% of Nigeria's problems. Go and find out. |

birmingham04: . Mr Bill Gate whom do you think that cannot afford it if it is sell for 1000 per litre? Is everybody in your family is reach? I hate someone with pride. If you are not satisfied with this change you can relocate to moon or pluto that is where rich people like you live. You're satisfied with this change already? Some people are really born to suffer. There's nothing anyone can do about it. |
Politics › Re: No Going Back On Subsidy Removal - FG by eph12(m): 10:17am On Apr 07, 2016 |
blackpanda: Gej didnt have any foresight. How can u remove subsidy when there are no structures on ground, comatose refineries and pms was selling at an all time high in international market. That doesnt make sense. Govt is able to remove it now because concerted efforts have been made to provide enabling structures. Exactly what the government of today is doing now. Another is increasing electricity bill and power distribution hasn't improved better still worsened. |
Politics › Re: No Going Back On Subsidy Removal - FG by eph12(m): 10:15am On Apr 07, 2016 |
bejeiodus: Government should hands-off the oil sector and leave market forces to determine the price. We would not be in the fuel crisis we are today if the federal government has not continued to overly superintend the oil industry. Exactly! Government cannot stop subsidy and still be the one to determine oil prices. It's not done. That's where the problem is. |
Business › Re: Power, FX, Fuel Shortages Cripple Nigeria As Buharimonics Continues To Fumble by eph12(m): 9:52am On Apr 07, 2016 |
enlightenedmind: Let's be clear. FX is not crippling Nigeria it is crippling d dollar. Fuel has never been sold at the right price in did country bcoz PDP looters collect bribes from Western countries to use us milking cows. Don't know about light by I happy for the FX and Fuel. We must refine our own feul even if we have suffer we must refine it then sell. Let's also be clear that one does not place the cart before the ox. Let's also be clear that the amount of revenue Nigeria generates is enough to get things done to an extent that citizens don't have to pass through fire to earn peanuts. The revenue we are currently generating plus the looted funds that has been recovered can be used to repair and maintain our refineries up to the needed standard. If government is complaining of sabotages technology (cameras and heat sensors) and armed forces should be used to guard our installations. It's not rocket science. Bill of almost 100k is brought for electricity that we get for less than total of 20hrs in a month and you say we should suffer and smile? You don't know what you're saying oga. |
Politics › Re: PURPORTED NLC STRIKE: Why We Should All Oppose It. by eph12(m): 7:13am On Apr 07, 2016 |
demolinka: A nationwide strike would be totally unnecessary. What would the strike achieve? Immediate disappearance of queues and constant power supply? Resignation of the thieving elites? The NLC should stop playing to the gallery, although it seems a whole lot of the masses don't understand what the cause of this challenges are, thanks to the FG's inability to adequately proffer an explanation. At least we won't have to go to work so we don't spend more than what was budgeted for transport. |

If the strike means I don't have to go to work I think it's the right thing to do sir. In fact it's long overdue. Reason is that I have been spending double or sometimes tripple on transport fare to work. Is that fair? I pay heavily to get fuel for my house, no security, no goverment water etc but we are taxed heavily. Please if you don't know what to say just keep quiet. |

bitingcool: There is NO excuse for cheating, even if her vagina disappears, every act of cheating is a DECISION on the part of the cheat to do so. Every excuse is what it is, an excuse. You chose to defile the marriage bed, you chose to dishonor your vows, you chose to slay your body for pleasure that gives a bitter taste after no matter how sweet the action is, you CHOSE, YOU!. We are, afterall responsible for our actions, not our spouse. You think? You really believe you can have your wife or husband go through hell and expect some loyalty? So you think you can decide to misbehave and expect your spouse to always smile because you're married? I laugh. Marriage is meant to be fun and both partners have equal role to play but if you think you can misbehave and your darling wife or husband will always be there to welcome you with open hands you're wrong. There's always so much he/she can take and ones that breaking point is reached that's it. I don'tlike cheating but there's nothing worse than staying in an unhappy home. |

It left me wondering, how can someone have a wife as beautiful as this and still cheats with women that can't even stand in the presence of his wife?
If Danjuma cheats on this lady, I wonder what he is looking for outside Most times it's not about beauty. How is their sex life? Is she always giving excuses why they can't? Also is she the nagging type? Is she the type that easily gets pissed off and violent? So many things. |
