Hyenas If you’re trying to figure out the sex of a mammal, there’s usually one surefire place to look—unless that animal is a hyena. Female hyenas aren’t only larger and more aggressive than their male counterparts, but they have pseudo joysticks. Males have to perform quite an awkward balancing act in order to get their actual penis into the female’s faux one. If it’s a successful mating, she’ll have to push pups through the fake phallus as well. No wonder hyenas are always laughing!

Clownfish For humans, sex reassignment is a long process. But many species of fish can switch from male to female, or vice versa, in just a few weeks. Clownfish, for example, are all born male. They live in groups with one large male and one large female as the breeding pair. If the female dies or is removed from the group, the largest male will change sex and become the breeding female. Now that’s a fish that steps up to the plate!

Honeybees In springtime, when a young queen bee flies through a group of male bees—AKA drones—the fellas say to themselves, “I’m going to get that girl if it’s the last thing I ever do!” And it will be. A male’s successful aerial mating with a queen means his genitals will explode, pushing the sperm—and part of his severed phallus—inside the queen, possibly acting as a plug to keep other males from entering. The drone literally dies for love.

Simply going highlight some of the most bizarre mating rituals in the animal kingdom. From being dinner at a date to ultimate dance offs, and everything in between. ![]() |
DrFunmisticGlow:Equality, in terms of treating males and females equally. Giving them equal oppurtunities, the chance to express and be themselves, and upholding their human rights. |
Originalsly:In India, 12million females have been aborted in the last 30years! All this as a result of the sex-selective abortion tradition there. So many things done against women are humane. It's our duty to give these women a voice. |
thebosstrevor1:People like you are the reason why we like in a country that would most likely always remain a zoo! Next time, get your facts straight before commenting on a thread centered on a very sensitive topic. I get the whole gender wars thing going on, and honestly, I don't give a fvck. Sexual abuse and all the other inhumane practices I mentioned and those I didn't, are traumatic and should not be used as a point to down females. As a human, you should be sensitive and concerned with what millions of children are going through. Those girls don't care about what goes here. They've been treated unfairly by a world that ought to protect them. It's our responsibility to ensure that these girls are brought up in a society that cares about their werfare! If you still don't understand, then this isn't the thread for you. As for the data, argue with Unicef if they are accurate or not. |
thebosstrevor1:How does this relate? I'm sure you don't even know the answer. Don't derail my thread, thanks! |
BigSarah:I knew the title would be a problem for some. This thread wasn't created with the intention of dissing feminist, but to point out to everyone that it's doctrines aren't special but simple logic that those in a sane society would accept and abide by. Advocating gender equality shouldn't be a movement or group but a way of life. Everyone should fight together to put an end to the numerous injustice perpetrated against the girl child and females in general. |
MhisTahrah:I agree. Marrying children out is a tradition in the Northern region that needs to be eradicated. Period! Down south here, we need to teach our kids that there is dignity in labour and the rich boy marries poor girl scenario only happens in nollywood.Exactly, it's our responsibility to instil values and morals in children. Especially now, in a time when sex is idolized. |
mosdii:I see no reason why it should even be a thing! Every normal human being should be concerned with advocating gender equality, given the chance. It shouldn't be a group or movement. If a man believes that every child ought to be in school and that the sexual molestation of girls and mutilation of their private parts (to prevent them from embracing their sexuality) is abnormal, then he's a feminist! And if everyone thinks like that, why should feminism even exist? It's doctrines should be practiced by all. |
falcon01:this topic/issue is centered on helping those who are victims of sexual abuse, have been denied the Right to education because of their gender and sold off, as kids to men they barely know! I think a child's physical and psychological wellbeing is more important than some of the problems you highlighted. |
Honestly, I think it's absurd! In a country such as Nigeria, it's bizarre that anyone should identify as a 'feminist'. Feminism isn't a movement or organization. It's a way of life. A belief in something that should be considered normal. Regarding child marriages, Nigeria has the third highest number of child brides. Of all the countries in the world, it has the 11th highest rate of child marriages. 44% of females in Nigeria are married before the age of 18, while 18% are married before the age of 15. In terms of education, age 15 and above, the rate of female literacy is 59.4% compared to that of males, 74.4%. By the year 2012, 25% of females, age 15-49, had undergone female Instruments mutilation. 1 in 4 girls compared to 1 in 10 boys would experience sexual violence before the age of 18. So I see no reason why anyone needs a fancy title or group to fight for a sane society where every individual is treated fairly regardless of gender! There should be a pressing need in everyone to advocate equality. |
The simple truth to it is that relationships are all about shared responsibilities. And women nowadays are already taking up the duty of earning for the family unlike most males who refuse to have anything to do with domestic duties. As a man, money shouldn't be the only thing you have to offer. And for those who complain about women and sex, the simple solution is to approach and date girls with a sense of independence not those with the 'entitlement mentality'. At the end, it narrows down to your choice. |
Secondly, even if the lady isn't employed she's burdened with the responsibility of managing the home. She takes care of her children, husband and other relatives, usually at the expense of herself. Most men underestimate the stress of such a duty because they haven't had a reason to appreciate it. While a woman takes care of the family, a man simply goes to work (something most women do already) and returns to complain about how hectic his day had been. |
In romantic relationships, what do women have to offer except for sex? I think that's a very ignorant question. One of the many silly ways the guys here attack females. Ignorance is bliss, but to be delibrately blind to the truth is buffoonery. Assuming my great grandfather rose from his grave to ask such a question, it would be understandable. But for these men it is not. Afterall, this is the 21st century... ![]() Most women provide for the family financially alonside their husbands. There are female lawyers and doctors and engineers. Women who are executives and those who have established their businesses such as trading, tailoring and so on. These women's income are used, no matter how small, to take care of various neccessities. In addition to managing the home, they also support their partners by working and earning. |
Hmm |
I agree 100%. Michelle and Blu why did you guys have to deactivate? |

I disagree with certain things in this post; Firstly, every woman has a has a unique vagina. No two ladies coochie are the same. Meaning they each differ in physical appearances (size of labia minora/majora), color, depth, and size (width). The overall thing is to find a patner who you can accomodate to avoid intimacy problems and to be happy with yourself just the way you are. Second of all, your home remedy to tighten the vagina is just another example of the medicine that kills faster than the disease. Dont us salt to wash down there and dont set in any damn bole of warm water. Kegel exercises are the best self care method to tighten the vagina and prevent uterine prolapse. Woman sef! |
Everyone has personal standards. My preferances cannot be the same as yours. Graduates have more levarage in succeeding than someone without a cert. It doesn't mean the latter is less of a 'person' or that he/she wouldn't make it in life. Earning a degree gives one more advantage. When considering marriage, it doesn't all narrow down to just love. Other factors come to play. While some men prefer to be the sole financial provider, other would want a wife with a successful career. We all got our different list. What matters is that the person you settle down with ticks atleast 80% of all the boxes. Personally, im wont encourage anyone to marry another without a degree. I believe theres a decent measure of exposure that comes with education. Even if she isn't a cert holder, she 'must' be passionate about her schooling and willing to pick it up again. |
atleast they obey. |

I don't really give a a damn. Lest i forget, i won't reply random mentions which are often either insults or false accusations about my identity. If i am a male or female or if this as an alternate account. If you have any problem, quote me here. Its a simple instruction most of you still wouldnt adhere to. |
It is dying gradually.
Personally i believe that marriage has outlived its purpose |
Fratello:Most likely she's an introvert, there's hardly anything you can really do. About her timidity, the best way you can help her is to just be there for her. Boosting her self esteem is a game changer but dont do it in a cheesy/suffocating manner. Do stuff with her that would appeal to her interest, eg send her nice novels, create a quiet time for you both etc. But all in all just be there. If she's introverted she would appreciate just your friendship than a million fake others. Plus if she learns to be comfortable with you, she'll gradually break loose. Give it time |
donstan18:and you concluded that im a female? If it massages your ego, then i'm a lady. While i dont give a damn about your gender, i'm concerned about the level of your intelligence. Your initial comment; Did your parents raise you to help a non virgin? Did you feel no shame while writing that trash? Its safe to assume that you ask every lady about that piece of flesh before you offer her the slightest of help. You attach too much importance to fvcking and for an obvious mgtow or even an average MAN, its pathetic. |
