On 1.1 surge. I got #3,500 instead of #3,900
Taxify is just so useless. At times one earns about the same thing after commission on Uber (with Uber on 25% o)

Why do some riders behave like poor people. Fare was #975 and you wanted to collect #25. I gave you #20 and you asked for #5 saying change is one of drivers' tools. So drivers should be carrying all denominations about abi. And if the fare was #925 and I collected #900, she wouldn't complain abi! She even complained of high fare, maybe Ojodu to Opebi should be #600 |

julietromeo: Short trip is needed at times. Especially when you are targeting taxiscam bonus or you want to do your first 15 trips on uber and qualify for their 0% service fee. I did mostly short 15 trips yesterday and qualified for the incentive very early this morning. You're very lucky. The counter doesn't show on my app. I was discouraged to work on Sun as after completing 17 trips on Sat, I still didn't get the 0% notification throughout on Sun |

Rubbiish: I believe u must have used okada and keke napep, do u show them any respect? How many times have u greeted an okada man or keke rider old enough to be your father before mounting bike? What kind of respect do u show to them because u didn't buy d bike, fuel and do maintenance for them? I am not saying Uber riders maintain same job status with okada riders, but if someone is paying for a service, i think respect should be d least of your worries attending to them. As long as they did not insult u. OP was referring to the tone with which the rider spoke to him (he said rider was rude). He's not particular about greeting. Greeting is nothing as far as I'm concerned. I always greet but if I get no response, no problem, I just face front & drive. |

iyaegin: This is not true..i monitor my ratings and a 1 star rating will NEVER drop you below 0.01 otherwise you case is critical with multiple 1 star ratings so you can only have dropped from 4.80 to 4.79 no more definitely not 5 to 4.7...thats exaggerated..
It can be discouraging getting the 1 star cos it takes about 5-10 5star rating to rise again by same 0.1 You can't compare a driver with many trips with one that just did few trips na. You understand how the GPA of a 100level student that just wrote few exams will be affected by scoring 40 in a course compared to a 400level student |

cutosinyahoocom: Hello Taxity/Uber drivers.
Presently working on a project and your input is needed.
Working on a Fuel credit card for uber and Taxify drivers.
This card will allow you buy fuel on credit from specified stations. For a start, all drivers will have access to N5,000 fuel credit on their card. This amount is increased as the driver pays back.
My question"
1) As a driver, will you want to use the card? Yes if I can have access to multiple/different filling stations, for example I can buy from any (combination) of Hyden, Enyo, Mobil and North West 2) If repayment for a N5000 fuel is N5,350 for a 7days repayment, will you use the card? I'm not sure I would agree to use card cos of the extra cost 3) If there is a promo rewarding you with a N750 call card for using N20k fuel in a week, will you want to use the card? Sure everyone likes a bonus or incentive
Your input will be appreciated. Thanks Wow...see reply above |

bot101: Good day guys, I have been following posts here in recent times and looking to become an Uber/Taxify partner. I am planning to buy a Nigerian used Honda Accord 2004 model, employ the services of an Uber/Taxify driver, and collect 25k - 30k weekly. I don't know how feasible this would be as I have zero experience with running a ride sharing business. I need your advice on whether to continue or find something else to put my funds into. I'll create a topic and repost this there to avoid distractions, thanks.
Update: Thread created!! https://www.nairaland.com/5146783/uber-taxify-partners-drivers-come I think you read but didn't understand many things. Honda Accord is not the best car for the biz as it comes with a big engine as well as its maintainance issues. Better to get a car with 1.8 ltr or less engine. If you must get the accord, then you must be driving yourselves or ready for drivers to price rentals to 20k - 25k. |

mistadayo: 9mobile... data usage with same phone I would advise you get a mifi or if you have another phone that you can be using its hotspot, it's cool. I have a small 4G phone that I use as mifi (using its hotspot). It surely helps as the only times I got 'drivers did not respond were either that I didn't respond intentionally or phone's screen touch issue. |
