mistadayo: I agree with you jare.... and surge too is back especially mornings. Please when taxify they pay person. Second week now on taxify and my account never sound. First week was mostly cash. Last week was card and today now that have added my card trips with the starting balance. So I'm confused. @ the bolded, that's how it shows on your dashboard until after they pay and later subtract the old balance. They already paid. If you've not received yet, be sure to receive soon. N.B: Taxify do not pay less than 2k. They would carry over till following week. |

brogxy: They send several times. I can't count the total time I have been warned. Log into your profile on the web to check your cancellations. Thanks...I did. Just wanted to be sure my close to 11% rate wasn't too bad.

brogxy: You can't help but cancel when needed but Uber will keep sending emails to warn you about your cancellations. The logic is that don't cancel more than ratio 1:3 or 1:4 of completed trips. Then you are good to go. Thanks. Uber don't just keep sending mails though, they block at the second warning. Please how can I check old in-app messages? |

One may need to work longer hours for now. We hope things will pick up before the end of March (after state level elections). |

Niiade: Depends on the driver really, I just started driving and after spending between 7-10 hours a day, i seem to get around 6-8k, I have been giving out all my offline trips because they are outside lagos not ready for such long trips yet, by next month I would start outside lagos trips well well.
It could be my postioning, phone or more factors but I am still trying to get a hang of the ropes to this trade. Otondo Driver OK...weldone |

We need to start respecting one another on this thread. We all know Bill, he needs to be tolerated. He seems to be very aggressive. But someone now dangling carrots in front of a horse would make the horse more agitated. How can one wish a fellow man dead?!

jaybim: From my experience he's right... if your phone allows split screen like mine, open both apps in seperate windows OR Open Google maps and let it run in the background, slide down your notification bar and use the turn by turn directions You can also use the voice guided navigation instead
That's what I do as I also realized that taxify times out when you stay too long off the app. Particularly when the memory of the phone is almost full. Hope you don chop the 1k reactivation bonus |

Chuwaa: Black man and emotional flip flops. I was looking to see where the star dashed him some little stars(money) after all he's in this business to make money. Same emotion driven sentiment that make people vote demagogues over a better candidate because he's from their ethnic or religious group. Very difficult to separate sentiments from politics...it is even one of the politicians strong pillar to get votes. People are not happy with the options, someone recently said/asked 'how do you identify the difference between a left and a right Stocking?' |

Chuwaa: When I was still driving, I picked up two guys from Ikoyi to Lekki, I no even look their face, at a point I was convinced I was carrying Yahoo boys, they were just calling figures and pressing their laptops and even starting speaking in coded languages. I just wanted the trip to end. When we arrived Lekki, they told me to wait and dashed into one house like that, when they came back, I still no send them and one of them asked me "don't you know that this is Davido's house" I just replied really? After some time he asked again, don't you know Dre' (abi Drake) I replied that I don't know. Come and see and as he take de look me one kind eh and silence prevailed till I dropped them. When the trip finished he made sure he collected his N80 change.
I wonder what the reaction of our star carrying driver will be. No wonder some drivers treat drivers like pieces of shit. People here have carried many sung and unsung stars. Bros believe in yourself to avoid stories that touch the heart mbok! True talk...at times I Google their names after viewing on Truecaller. How can you be on ehailing for 3 months and you wouldn't pick a rich biz man or a so called star? Abeg na money be koko! Make God bless us so the 'stars' can sing our names/praises in parties and their albums jare |

Stealth100: The guy was wrong for lying that uber charges for extra load. If you're putting a huge load in my car, I charge you extra for it. If you're not fine with it, I cancel and move on. I had to collapse the back seat of my matrix to acomodate the load of one rider like that. I charged 1500 extra for it from egbeda to ogba. Correct! |

osars: Thanks everyone. He was confident about it and said its from uber. And today was the first time I'll check receipt of payment and saw I wasn't even charged. I'll try to get it off my mind. Its just annoying. Paid extra 1k I didn't bargain for because I already knew the amount (rate) I always pay. Since he lied/defrauded you, if you like, you can report to Uber. However, you can be kind enough to forgive him as a bigger person & see the 1k as a tip. |

nitigriti: Sir, its not possible; even if you live in the same compound with the car owner. This is the reality of the work He just needs a parking space not too far from home. nitigriti is saying it is impossible cause of the time frame you put and also logistics of the owner waiting for you to park or you waiting to pick up. Just get a parking space not too far from home. You and owner may have clashes if you park in his house daily. |

Parlee: Just imagine calling me mumu for leaving a message here about what I want. A lot of y’all here are very uncivilized, I have been on uber/taxify for a long time and it has helped me in a lot of ways in paying bills. Me wanting a fresh tokunbo doesn’t mean I don’t know what I am doing. Anyway i’ll Work even harder and buy it outright in a few months. Better than having to buy a used car not fully knowing the real problems of the car. No vex. You can still get a Toks deal. I think you have 2 options. 1. The same one you mentioned here...paying 100k or about that monthly. However, the person you are dealing with may want to put the car up around 2m+ depending on the real cost of the car. You can also speak to car dealers as you already have 1m which more than half of a 1.6m - 1.8m corolla. 2. Borrow from friends & families and promise to pay back within 6 months or more. I believe people that have deals for you on this forum will contact you. The 1m you have with you is more than assurance that you are ready & serious. |

deedee44: Many of us have only two houses, but one of the houses is everywhere. If you know you know I know and I know When I joined the platform, I was buzzing everywhere. Slept in my car, bars and clubs. But a time will always come that one will definitely stop. I will share my experience very soon. Let me advise people seeing figures here, it is not as very easy as the figures look. If you have a job that is paying you up to 100k, don't leave it till you get a better job. If you have a car, use the car to get trips to & fro work daily especially if the distance from house to office is almost/over 20km. And work on weekends too. With this, you have an additional source of income from Uber/Taxify. Everyone has a way of doing things. If it works for you, keep at it. If you think you need vast improvment, seek for it. |

Fahrenz: when you wake up on any day with a 15k target in your mind, divide that 15k by 2.
When you make 7500, go offline and go and sleep for four hours. Wake up and go get your remaining 7500 before you sleep again. You won't feel tired or sleepy OK cool...thanks. What time do you set out in the morning and which area/location? Want to know if one can get a trip as early as 4:30am around Isolo/Jakande/Isheri-Oshun/Ijegun. Other people can pls contribute |
