Megadrop: No bro it doesnt count against the driver if its a no show cancellation, it only counts when it's an abrupt cancellation. I am sure this answers you

GidiWoodsMan: 'no show' rider does not count as a cancellation.
be careful in that zone, lg touts do try to tow cars there atimes It very much counts. As long as a driver cancels, the cancelation rate goes up. Always check your cancelation rate on the web |

Xneg: If she didn't spend more than 15mins, the base fare is more than the wait time so it would have been more profitable for you when she requests you again. Like you said 'if'. Just that many times when riders tell you 15mins, they end up spending 25-40mins. I'm waiting for one at the airport for an offline return trip for over 50 mins now. She initially said 5 mins and then 10mins. The bad news is I didn't charge for waiting time because she told me 10mins max. I would have waited for over an hour by the time she's ready. I hope she agrees to pay for my time. |

kayusmile: the incorrect fare just happened to me.. from Alakuko area to Magodo, the thing showed 800#. thank God d rider was understanding and gave me 1500# instead Cool but the fare should be almost double of the #1500. Taxify is killing drivers' morales. |

Taxify was at it again yesterday! Two trips with incorrect fares....both cash trips One understood and added more money. The other was a heartless lady that claimed she saw #1,500 as estimate from Magodo to Idumota! Thus did not add a penny. Worst thing was I entered the very dirty flood in the market after I dropped her & her mum off. So disheartening... |

eherbal: nice one baba, May it turn out well.Bolt is nothing to be reckoned with bro. I missed a request that did not alert me on their platform yesterday. I just saw a prompt that said I did not respond. It's always happening One big problem they have is the app. It demands too much of strong network compared to Uber. |
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Epphy(m): 8:51am On Apr 17, 2019 |
Xneg: Uber is light years ahead of bolt, there's nothing they can do to become better. They have many things to do o. First is to fix their app. Why do they say lite is #60 per km for Lite but the fares show a less amount being charged. Also if they reduce their commission to 10%, na Uber go pack! |

BucketMan: I started following this thread not too long ago but i must say i have benefitted immensely and i'm willing to give 200k to any person here that can convince me that he has an acute business acumen and will make good use of the money....it's my own way of giving back to the community. Have you made up your mind on the business you wish to do now? If not, I would advise you go into both investments and business I.e share the capital like ratio 4:6 or 3:7. You can invest in businesses that are currently working while you start a business of yours. Likewise you can invest in real estate and/or treasury bills, also in agric - there are farms you can partner with. As regards business, you can go into production of alcohol like those alomo things, fish farming, sales of Nigerian used/toks cars and car wash. |

Saw a trip to ejigbo from odongunyan for 4500. It's a pity my 0%for this week hasn't started after completing my 17th trip... It's about 5k+ considering the time spent & distance on Uber so not bad. julietromeo: It takes 24hours before the system will recognise you have done the 15 trips. Uber promises to refund last week but they didn't. I did my 15th trip on Tuesday morning and switched to taxify when they charged my 16th trip. Had to wait for 24hrs before 0% service fee started. In my case last week, I was charged until my 21st trip. I sent a message to them that night and by morning, I got a message on 0% starting and it was zero from then. So you maybe right that in some cases, one may not enjoy it until the next day. |

lexini: The point I’ve been trying to make is that if a driver is particular about going to certain locations, he should call and ask the rider for destination immediately he gets the request, not that the rider should call him and give him his destination - like say the driver is doing the rider a favour.
I case my rest biko
Enough grammar spoken already Your 'king' post didn't indicate this new message. Yes, drivers should call especially when they have destination preferences at night. I like to call my riders always regardless of destination, some riders call while I'm dialing or using the map to find my way to pickups though |

Rubbiish: The RIDER is the real king, regardless of the time I see many drivers make mouth here and i laff One thing every driver should know is that, the moment you carry a rider, he automatically becomes your employer, it is simple logic, because you are working because of him. So when i see drivers rating riders one star for uber to block them, i just laff. Any business man here will know that you can sack 20 employees in a day and get same number of replacement in the same day, but any organization that will block only 5 customers will take time to replace them. You have a valid point but I was talking about night when finding a ride to some areas can be very difficult. |

lexini: Na only Uber or Taxify dey?
Enter bike, take yellow cab.
Na free ride?
Truth is, before u make the 4th request, u go see driver wey go gree carry u.
Driver isn’t king biko Yes I know customer is King. Drivers can be kings when the riders are going to locations people hardly go at night because of different reasons like security, ride requests at the time, bad roads, etc. Riders sometimes decide to change their destinations when they can easily get a driver at nights if they can't get drivers going their way. You can't expect drivers that stay on the Island to take you to Ikorodu from Lekki at 10pm. So they are 'kings' at that moment albeit for a short period. |

I am active on both apps and I prefer to drive solely on taxify. What works for me wouldn't work for you oga. Maybe you are on Taxify (not lite). People with 2005 cars & above enjoy Taxify so much as the earning is about 20% higher than both lite & Uber. |
