Naijadaily: Igbo presidency: Gov Uzodinma a 'Judas', will face repercussions – Ohanaeze
The Ohanaeze Ndigbo have again come hard on Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State over his stance on the Nigeria President of Igbo extraction in 2023.
Uzodinma had ruled out the Igbo presidency project in 2023, claiming that such was not in the interest of his party, the All Progressives Congress, APC.
The apex Igbo socio-cultural organization now sees his outburst as that of a traitor and cautioned that it would come with huge repercussions.
This was contained in a statement on Monday by the Secretary-General of the Igbo group, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro.
He said Uzodinma’s stand was “the height of absurdity and lunacy,” adding that, “no matter the sycophantic allegiance Uzodinma owes his political emperors, he should learn from chronological antecedents of those Igbos that stood against the genuine interests of Ndigbo in the past and the repercussions that came with it. In his own case, it will be destructive and disastrous.”
He declared that, “Ndigbo never under any fora, mandated Governor Hope Uzodinma to speak on behalf of the Southeast with regards to the 2023 Presidency.
“Uzodinma’s standpoints on 2023 Igbo Presidency is his myopic and personal views not that of Ndi-Imo or Ndigbo at large. He should be ignored, as he is suffering from verbal diarrhea and lacks the locu standi to speak on behalf of the collective bargaining and aspirations of Ndigbo.
“Governor Uzodinma cunningly changed positions of 2023 Igbo Presidency to 2027, when he hoped to be ready for his already dead presidential ambition.
“Our suspicions have been reinforced by the desperate activities to exclude Imo State from being part of the southern Governors resolutions, especially on VAT, Southern Presidency and the signing of anti open-grazing laws.
“Ndigbo are bewildered and we ask- can anything good come out of Governor Hope Uzodinma that will make our people happy except for sounds of fury, deaths, and misery of hopelessness that had encircled Imo State.”
“We are foreseeing hazards ahead if Governor Uzodinma’s continuous pursuit of the ‘fifth columnists’ agenda is not stopped.
“We are still praying for the good personality of Uzodinma to be resurrected once again, as we suspect that his political Emperors are hypnotizing him like they used Chief Femi Fani Kayode to destroy and mastermind the the problems of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.”

chakula: A Kano High Court on Thursday nullified the creation of four new Emirate Councils in the state by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje. While also sacking the Emirs appointed over those Emirates, the court described the appointments as illegal.
It would be recalled that the state government created four Emirate Councils of Bichi, Karaye, Gaya and Rano
However, on Thursday in his judgment, Justice Justice Usman Naába, said the creation of the Emirates and the appointment of the Emirs were illegal.
It would also be recalled that Governor Ganduje assented to the bill creating the new Emirates on Wednesday, May 8 the same day it was passed by a unanimous decision of members of the State Assembly.
Justice Na’aba said the law creating the emirates is not in compliance with the constitution.
The suit was instituted by the former House of Assembly member, representing Gwarzo constituency, Muhammad Nasir against Kano State Government, Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, Commissioner for Justice, Kano State House of Assembly, and Speaker.
While speaking on the judgement, counsel to the plaintiff, Barr. Maliki Kuliya expressed happiness over the judgment.
According to him, “they were not expecting anything short of this as the law is very clear.”
However, the defence counsel, Barr. Ibrahim Muktar said the defence team needs to ruminate over the judgement.

Got married some two years back. 2019. And things started up fine and later wasn't able to impregnate my wife... But discovered the Egg white method did it and the next month my wife took in.. things started on a very good note. And the mother of my friend is dead now) but my friend had those dreams about her.......... Problem and worries started when my spiritual guide told me that my mother in-law is a Government (witch)... And this has been affecting me emotionally... I don't know how to handle it... And can't even open up to tell my wife...
I've tried to blank out some part....
My question now is that... What effect does it pose having a mother in-law that is a witch.... I lost 6m 15th of August 2021. Things isn't working fine... I'm thinking of running away from the marriage..but I have less than one year old daughter in-between us.. As I don't know what to do....

erubati: Hello nairalanders, Please as I am typing this short piece, am seriously boiling with rage as am unable to sleep. There is a building beside my house where one of the occupants is always putting on his gen at any slightest opportunity of NEPA outage.
The most annoying aspect is that he uses the generator deep into the night and the noise usually affects my sleep. Presently, there is light in the area but I guess they did not recharge their prepaid meter so he switched on his generator since around 7pm and he is yet to switch it off as am typing.
Is a tenant given the right to switch in his gen overnight while denying others the right to good night rest. I am thinking of reporting him to the appropriate Lagos State authority but don't know which one can take it up seriously.
