I am currently in partnership with a friend in his business(I provided evidence of this in my application) this your friends business is what type? is it inline with your proposed course? your previous experience is not enough. if the business you are into presently does not align with your proposed course, then that to me comes 'Purpose of visit' by the VO |

willyboss: I have shared/included my profile. thanks its well, your profile seems good to me, refusing you on purpose of visit alone still keeps me wondering anyways. GCMS note would point it all out. this visa thing is now beyond your course being related to your previous academics/work experience... what else do they want? when you dont av financial issue. its well |

willyboss: Please house I need advice on this: My application was refused on PURPOSE OF VISIT because the vo wasn't "convinced" I would leave Canada on completion of my programme. In my application I included my assets and that members of my family are in Nigeria. I am not married. my purposed course of study is in line with my undergraduate degree. how do I CONVINCE the vo that I would leave? I thought I had that covered already. Sorry for the delay, share your profile as regards ur UG, work experience, and proposed course of study. Guys here would be able to proffer solution as to what to do to tackle it, but all in all order for your GCMS file. |

o2: Hello,
Is there anyone who applied recently from Nigeria and was not sent the CBN letter and got his/her TRV. from this thread i can say non, a moniker here on this thread with full funding both tuition and living expenses got that CIC latest development mail. it seems d mail is inevitable irrespective of your funding, but you can always sort that after receiving the mail, cox you dont have to pay all you need is get supporting letter from the school to address the cic request (my opinion though wch stands to be corrected). if you gonna study in canny, just have the money ready. cox the instruction would come knocking one way or the other. |

miella: Hello,
Why don't you want to go through the express entry route directly. Osemigho suggested this to you sometimes ago. You have a master's degree and if you can ace IELTS, you have a great chance of getting a high point. If your spouse can evaluate her result also and ace IELTS, that will even boost your point the more. What you are looking for in 'sokoto' is in your 'sokoto'. That is my advice for you Sir. well said, I think people dont want to write exams, cox i dont know why such opportunity cant be given a shot, @Arcayo took the shot and he had both TRV and PR, patience is key. |

Innogee: Good day Gurus, Pls I need your assistance. I applied for student visa on 10th Feb, 2017 and I got a refusal today. I studied Elect \ Elect in HND 2005 with good working experience in Telecoms for 12yrs now. I applied to conestoga college for my PGD to study wireless network infrastructure which is closely related to my course of study and my experience. Although, I have travelled to Ghana in 2009 but I dint include it in my application. Please, I need urgent advise on what next to do as a friend is advising me to try PR.
Reason for refusal : I am not satisfied that you would leave Canada after your study so visa refused on the basis of 1. Travel History 2. Purpose of visit 3. Personal asset and financial status. Sorry for d delay, I'll solely advice u to give EE a shot, all u need is just to have a good score in ur IETLS, u gat all it takes bro. All d best. |

I applied for Post baccalaureate Diploma in Business Administration which is a two year program.i made payment for 1st semester. Used my spouse and landed documents as home ties. The bold forms d reason for purpose of visit, you should have gotten a PGD instead Bcox ur proposed program is equivalent to ur previous education, try to reapply with a good Sop. |

bosbebe: Thanks.
Was confused on applying with kids. Because if I apply alone and indicate that I will be travelling alone and afterwards apply for kids won't it be a misrepresentation? If that's the case then stick to your initial claim, if u will be traveling with him let your application reflect that from the start. My opinion dou, others can share their opinion. |

bosbebe: good day,
Getting documentation ready for submission latest Friday, My hubby paid 10k USD into my dom acct for living expenses and paid a year tuition (21,000 CAD) total tuition is $38,000 CAD for MBA(dual) andhis corporate acount closing balance is 25m. my final questions are;
1. should I apply with my son and leave my two daugthers or with non of them (they all have visiting expiring in November 2017) 2. can I use my birth certificate issued at birth by my church or I need to get from the NPC 3. My hubby is using his business bank statement and a reference letter from bank stating he is sole signatory, is it compulsory to include a company tax returns 4. Do I have to include his property documents as well?
Will appreciate your response 1. You can apply with your son, your husband and ur daughters are still very good hometies for you. 2. Yes u can use that from the church. 3. Its not compulsory but if you have it do good to add it. 4. Include it because it shows the assets of your husband wch forms part of financial strength as an asset. |

Osemigho: Damn! Your agent must have used fake documents with or without your consent. You definitely need to arrest them if it is without your consent. Sorry man.
The only option left is to challenge them to court. but you are likely not to win the case.
All the best, bro! I laff in Chinko bro, what basis will he challenge them please? i mean on what grounds? let me hear from you first before i say what i have in mind. |

Sharles: I got admission in march(graduate diploma in safety & risk Engr) MUN Newfoundland. I have applied for my visa 28th April. I got a mail from them on the 3rd of may that my application has be approved. Still waiting for their message for my medicals.
Documents submitted: admission letter, SOP, letter of consent and recommendation from my employer., degree cert., transcript, birth cert, SOA(contain 7.3mil) self sponsored.
My concern is that a friend of mine told that they don't usually approve study permit for DIPLOMA. I just want to know how true that is. I don't understand you, you got your TRV approved without medicals (upfront or on request)? Where did u apply from? Have not heard this before is your program 6 or below 6months? If not then your approval is not in line with IRCC requirements. |

Congrats @Arcayo, u have chosen a right path, this is just to encourage some of us with considerable years of experience willing to migrate to Canada (we all know that the end of studying in Canada is getting that PR) to try the PR route, its all about knowing what you what and going for it. @Arcayo really inspired me personally, patience is a virtue we should not loose it at any point in time, he was refused twice, got study permit at a 3rd attempt and PR from naija. Congrats again and I wish u all the best. |

Wolecypher: thanks bro. So how will I show the evidence of payment since have applied for the visa already I don't really understand that question, are you talking of ur initial deposit to the school or the requirement of IRCC? If its the latter you just have to wait for further instructions from IRCC since you have submitted your application. |
