You can't send ur transcript to embassy, u can only send to ur school in Canada. A student copy of your transcript is ok for you to submit for visa process and if u don't have/ can't get that submit a copy of your certificate, I never submitted any of my transcript for visa application b4 both my previous application and the present one. No arm to that.

Why won't dey give? We av alot of people given trv on this thread recently if u av bn following. D most recent approval as at yesterday is a PGD. It's not everyone here that qualifies for masters admission, they can't give up their dreams, pdg is most suitable for people with considerable work experience dey tends to get TRV easily compare to fresh graduates with no experience. My opinion sha with wot Have noticed.

I applied on 8th march, got medical mail on 23rd march. Did medical on 27 march. Passed medical on 7 april. approved on 19 april

And these are the documents
6. letter of acceptance and receipt of fees paid for one year 14,000cad dollars

9 Copies of bank statement for the past 3 months with a closing balance of 325,600 us dollars

We have only one processing time for Nigeria applicants so i'll say its d same.

I am to resume in September as well and I am yet to apply . aspa her name on her credentials that's not an issue cos I want to believe she got married after school, so ur wedding certificate will clear that part.

The moniker should include d documents for change of name. It's important

1. at the start of the DLI number is letter "O" and not digit "0" this should help

This can only happen if an upfront medical was taken before submitting the visa application else have not heard of one both on and off this thread.

God bless you Eraytee! My research showed the program is offered at PGC and PGD level by canadian universities, didnt see anyone offering it masters level. Is it safe to bank on that while trying to defend the PGD i opted for despite my CGPA?

I don't know much about your course so if it's only available at PGD I don't think there's any arm in that. You can mention establishment that you know.The job specifications as regards to your course would let u know that. If u are a business analyst for instance, u would av job specifications. It's just better to key ur reason for going for this course as a way of adding to the knowledge you have and to help u with your prospective job specifications when you return by emphasizing on how foreign trained employees are most favored in the eyes of the employer cox of the exposure and training gotten from studies of this kind.

At bold, it's true. If program of study is not more than 6months it may not require medicals. If ur program is more than 6months, definitely a medical exercise has to be taken.

You need a well explained SOP to savage this, then using a third party sponsor in ur case is a bit dicey to me cox, lots might be raised by the VO as to why a friend would want to commit such financial burden. I think you need to come up with the idea of working with a prospective establishment on ur return to naija, let ur sop focus on the need of this degree because of the demand from ur prospective employers. You just have to come up with what is beyond d common i'll com back to naija after study, u need to let the VO see why u need this course at d moment. I'll prefer u getting a family sponsor rather than just a friend. Just my opinion cox the way it would play out in your application. A family sponsor can still come up with tangible reasons as to y he/she is sponsoring u.

Before going into business, is secondary school education your highest level of study? You didn't mention anything about tertiary education, ur query need answers to the above questions to know what to suggest as regards ur case.

U can choose to write both, SOP focuses on what u are planning to study, ur plans after study and all, let ur LOE focus on detail explanation of all submitted docs as to how it makes you qualify for study permit, ur personal assets, the totality of ur application,documents submitted by ur sponsor and all other supporting docs wud be duly explained. Let your explanation focus on how all you have submitted makes you qualify for d permit at the VO esteemed discretion

They serve same purpose, SOP is an essay and LOE is a letter, the tone of composition is quite different. Once again they serve same purpose but to me LOE is more detailed, it all depends on who is writing and what you writing on. Below is a link to guide you as of what a LOE is. I hope this helps

At what baby age would they (VOs) usually allow to be left behind. I am already thinking of claiming that my baby is 2yrs old(added one year).

You don't need to complicate things for yourself, just state in your LOE how the welfare of the child would be taking care of while you are away studying, tbis is part of the hometie to your home country. Pls discard adding a yr to ur child's age. YOU DONT NEED IT.

I was refused in my 1st application in December 2017 for these reasons;
1) Have sufficient and available financial resources, without working in Canada, to pay the tuition fees for the course or program of studies that you intend to pursue.
2) Purpose of visit.

Undergrad Transcript, CV, copy of work ID, Upfront Medical, Police Cert, Training Certificates (Automation).

I have gotten my GCMS notes and intend to apply again by mid May for Fall term Sept. 2017.
I plan using a co-sponsor (Elder Sister) and paying my fees for the fall term.

Kindly share what ur GCMS file read. What is d relationship between ur present/previous employment with your proposed course of study?

How many dependants has u sponsor (mum)? You should pay atleast a year tuition fees plus have the 10kCAD in deposits for your living expenses. If u have any personal assets (land docs, shares certificate etc) include it, for your financial status, what is ur annual earnings? And probably boost your account over time and avoid money lodgment.

My above stated points are just solely my opinion.

i think you should explain it if its quite different from what has been seen in the history of the account, so explaining it would totally eliminate any concern about lodgement in your account, the way those VO's they reason mehn, u need to clear their doubts oo. its well.

Thanks Eraytee. Unfortunately, my LOA doesn't have an end date. It has a start date. However, it states that the course duration is a minimum of 2 years full time studies.

Ok, now i see the reason why u wanted a new passport. But the old one can still be used, it will still amount to my previous point. IRCC would issue d permit on it once it's not less than 6months validity. Your LOA not having end date doesn't mean anything, if trv is to be issued you will get it and later extend when necessary.

Yeah very possible TRV issuance doesn't have to do with how far your start day is, in fact we have some people that have gotten the trv and their start date is September. What plays major impact in approval seems to be genuineness of your app materials, the volume of applications submitted around the time u seeking for approval, and having application materials that demands little or no background checks. All these play key roles in the processing time amongst others.

Thanks for your response but I have been to the immigration office. The officer said it is possible but they'll have to seek approval from abuja. So if it gets approved, they can issue a new passport to me. I want to know if I should use the new passport number or the old one in my application. And should I attach the two of them and explain to the vo why I had to renew? I am concerned about this because I've heard unpleasant stories about the nigerian high commission in canada. More so, my school isn't even in ottawa so I'm also considering the cost thats gonna be involved.
Again, CIC says they can't give study permit beyond the validity of one's international passport so that'll mean two things: getting a new passport and applying for study permit extension.

I will say to the latter part of ur post, yes IRCC will not issue a permit beyond d validity of your passport, there is no big deal in all this, if u eventually get approved with dis old passport, study permit extension is a sure thing u wud get in Canada once your LOA reads the end date of ur proposed course. And ur passport can always be renewed in Canada. All d above stated is way too easy and almost lik an auto-play when you get to that bridge. But all d same d ball is in ur court.

It's good that you found this thread. You need to state your previous education/work history in other to get advice on what you should do to av an itch free trv.

As regards your hubby and son, it's possible but you need more financial strength to do that and a well worded SOP to convince the VO as to why they are accompanying you in other not to see you as an applicant who wants to immigrate via studies. We do advice put to apply alone so that your hubby n son can stand as ur primary hometie amongst others. When u successful secure your TRV, your hubby can apply for SOWP wch is easier than trying to take all family along to study, alot of issues had to b ironed out on that. I wish you all d best and let me say u don't need any agent to secure your TRV. Many have secured theirs by the help of gurus and other people on this thread free of charge. All u need is ask detail questions to get coincised answers. Wish u all d best.
