goodnews1111: When talking about lump sum I don't understand. Some one who had to accumulate about 10m in his account in a span of 2 weeks with inflow and out flow of 60m in 6 months to show that there is sufficient fund after having full tuition paid could it be said to be lumping. if source of accumulated funds is known, its not a lump sum. |

Adedrizzy: I ordered for it o and they telling me 'sponsor's account shows recent lumpsum amount with unknown origin and low balance ' please help Let your sponsor avoid money lodgment without a source. I knew it was going to be one of d reasons i stated earlier. ur sponsor must be able to prove source of funds either by submitting CAC doc if he owns a coy or payslips if he works, landed property if he owns one, receipts from rents or business if his a businessman and so on and so forth. The list is endless. Just make sure whoever is going to be ur sponsor must be ready to show proof of sources of fund. |

Adedrizzy: Hello House, Does anyone know the best way to tackle insufficient funds even after paying half of the tuition and having about 8m closing balance with good inflow and outflow of money even if its my uncle that is sponsoring. Thanks The best way is to order your GCMS file, when you get that then you will know exactly what ur case is, insufficient funds has different meanings for different applicants, some com as a result of money lodgment and some as unclear source of fund to d VO etc, wch u don't know wch is urs not until u get d GCMS file. All d best |

Rocorleone: Do you mean to say vfs and embassy don't accept original documents? But in their requirements it was stated that you include the originals and photocopies of all documents being submitted. This is because I intend submitting the originals of all my landed properties and proofs of my share in a family business through the memorandum article and shares. Please what is the status of submitting original documents original documents are not accepted at VFS only letters directly address to the embassy must be original. every other docs are or must be in photocopies. this is based on experience. @Austinpee4 has given u the needed info, if you still cast doubts in your mind, go with the originals and make sure u com back to this thread with the gist of how it went at VFS. #CaseShouldBeClosed# |

adiukuonyebuchi: Thank you brotherly. The issue of getting letter from the Bank, my sponsor has paid my school fees and other related fees already and i have receipt given for them from my school. is there still need to get this particular letter from CBN? My advise is that people shouldnt be too forward to do this base on the recent development. we should all wait to get the request just as others who got the request from IRCC before stressing on it. its not a difficult request as it would assist your application. just my opinion. |

r4blessing: please I just want to get something clear, did anyone get the mail I got with regards to this new currency control measure that requested that for the visa to be processed further I have to open a Canadian bank account or get a bank draft in convertible currency or get a written assurance from central bank the the one year fees and living expenses would be exported. please I just want to know if anyone else got it or if it's just me..... please This your case is probably the 1st am seeing on this thread, but let me ask u, have u paid your fees? If you can do well to post the content of d mail maybe response would come faster people can't just comment on what they don't understand. All d best. |

Folaroyal: I will liken what you guys are doing to... guessing what the reasons for a refusal is 'without a GCMS note'.... You should however have requested or posted the contents of the CIC letter to obtain head-on clarification! Regards. I proposed what u posted initially, if we can see d content on here, individuals would be able to digest it and opinions of different kinds would be known, to others here its all assumption cox no one knows the actual request of IRCC. |

preciousa2: Hello Eraytee. Many thanks for your mail. Again you know that the request did not say 'updated bank statement'. All they want Is a written assurance/confirmation of which a bank confirmation letter that captures your available funds should very much suffice. For sponsors abroad, I may not be able to speak to that because as you already know, not everyone would get this request for additional information. Thanks for d clarification. Well understood |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by Eraytee: 10:16am On Apr 12, 2017 |
preciousa2: Oh no. Please don't get me wrong. It's not a bad thing at all. Infact I believe it's a good sign 100%. God is involved. My last statement was just to say that it's a new dimension because you know that they really didn't use to request for this. So it's just to understand that it is not a complicated and difficult request if you really dimension it. Very easy to provide. Then pray and collect your TRV. A few people actually got this request alongside their medical mail. So yeah it's a very very Infact over very good thing. So in a nutshell one has to submit another SOA with respect to dis new directives? And what if you have a sponsor abroad who paid ur fees, does it also apply to the sponsor? |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by Eraytee: 7:26am On Apr 12, 2017 |
preciousa2: Hello r4blessing, you need to approach your bank for a confirmation letter addressed to CIC. Although it's usually standardized for most banks. I mean like a template. You need to kindly request that your bank includes the current available balance in your account. For the letter from CBN, there isn't such letter. All you need do is to get CBN circulars on the new forex policy which also mandates banks to process PTA and foreign tuition payment within 48 hours. You can get the circulars from the CBN website. That should suffice. I hope this helps. God bless. I bliv to those that have paid their tuition fees, such directives is not for them. |

I aint actually in the waiting game, I am just wondering why the cap of 18 and 21 weeks be placed on Nigeria and Ghana respectively, when other countries within the same categories as us have less processing time...
#just a thought though... The difference is as a result of large volume of application from these countries, if you check some country like Kenya has 6weeks processing time, application volume plays a lot in processing time. |

Vivianscott: Thanks so much for this, yes, what am planning now is to look for a college and do chemistry related course in Pgd for Jan 2018, while I try my luck for this September. but what if after silencing my Bsc and later be denied, then in my next application states my degree what will happen am just thinking.
as for my sponsor, I have two people either my brother or his friend not a relation he owns a big company, of he will stand to write that he is sending me to school in other for me to become the company's nurse after studying. what do you think? meanwhile am a female. could you please recommend good colleges for me to try. thanks i will advise you not to silent your Bsc, if am in your shoes i'll not apply with the nursing program, I will rather get a proper course that align with my bsc and probably go for winter entry, there is no point wasting money when you know where your app is faulty. pls an pls dont silent ur bsc becox if u do and u get denied , it would be a hard nut to crack by the time you want to reapply. a word they say is enough for the wise. from personal experience, my 1st visa app was denied solely bcox of my ignorant and no support from any1 to advice me, after submission i got to know about this wonderful thread, i posted somth abt my profile and I remember vividly @MichV said am likely to face d issue of 'PURPOSE OF VISIT' and lo n behold it came out just like that, my case wasnt as worse as yours in terms of the choice of course. make use of the avaible info cox if i had the info before i applied then, wouldn't have bn refused. *PeaceOut* |

yemdogg: I don't agree that you should let it play its natural course. If it turned out unfavourable, the consequence is grave. 5yrs ban. I don't think the person in question should be laid back about this. He should indicate this asap to IRCC. To demonstrate bona fide mistake, that way he can feign mistake or ignorance without the VO thinking it was intentional. Am not advising the moniker not to notify them, I just stated scenarios that I practically know. For the case of the person in question in my reply to @osemigho, it only shows that it's not all applicants this verification is being conducted on, my friend only kept it d second time Bcox he knows declaring it in d second application myt jeopardize his visa&lukily for him he got it. But with recent developments with IRCC I think such checks are conducted on every submitted application. |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by Eraytee: 2:33pm On Apr 07, 2017 |
Osemigho: I think you should withdraw your application ASAP and cite the error of not including it as d reason. I wouldn't advise such bro, just as @Austipee4 said above he should wait for the embassy. Let me burst ur kidney a bit, a friend of mine was denied US visa 2yrs prior to his grant by Canada embassy. D first Canada study permit, he didn't declare he had been previously refused visa n he scaled through, in d second application too he kept that away for d second time and lo n behold his in Canada as am posting this, studying. He got his visa on a second attempt at Canada embassy last year. Am not advising people to do such but when things play out this way sometimes, u just let it play out it natural course. |

Yeah you need an affidavit and if money would be transferred to u, it's your naija account to show access to fund, I hope you working for the company? Why were u chosen for that course amongst others? What relationship do you share with the owner of the company, is it your dad/mum/siblings that ownS the company? Is the proposed course of study inline with ur job specifications/previous education? All this must be answered to a VO for your application to come through, we don't really advice company sponsorship Bcox of the demands in convincing the VO is way too much. Base on logistics, pls find accurate answer n convincing one to the above questions in ur application. All best. |
