He begged because he was timid.

Don't pray to have me as a tenant, I will exercise my right and if you infringed on it, I will patiently wait for you in court and I pray that court case lingers for 5 years
Una go dey talk wetin una nor know, if someone goes by the proper channel you will be evicted. Once you are served notice to increase rent, the option would be A Pay or B move out if you dont pay, then the court can order you to move out and if you refuse the beliefs move in.and they can take your property to storage and you will have to pay for it,This all can be done within 6 months

So today the lawyer in charge of the property I stay in brought a notice to quit for us. Our rent is due November 31st and in the quit notice, it states we must leave that same date.

Please I want to ask is this what the law states ? Because he claims we now have 6 months notice to vacate the apartment even as our rent will be due in November...

This is a very sudden one for me
bross let me be honest with you, the landlord is very fair, he has given you 6 months notice, that's half of your tenancy agreement, Six months is enough to make arrangement to move out..it would be better to move out in good blood than bad blood. Moving out is not the end of the world, it might just be the kick start you need for you to start building your own home.

Go and show us the one Obi constructed that is still intact.

Pathetic
You are pathetic, ignorant as well, who give a flying fhuck what Obi did or did not do?your problem is some is castigating your subject, bravo! but guess what, I aint got a candidate and i don't care as far as the job is done.

And the road you are condemning was constructed in segments as well. Do you expect the entire surface to be casted at once throughout the length of the road ?

How is that possible ?

Cracks are not an issue in concrete roads but rather sinking on its own weight and so far those roads are still intact.
if you can , go fru my profile, I did a 4inch slab on my compound in Nigeria and stamped it,I have done this by myself ie supervising it.I created huge slabs at 20feet interval for expansion. I am a flued Engineer with 15 years experience in the Uk, so when it comes to Expansion, I know my onions.Thishas nothing to do with otti or who ever it is, It has to do with doing what the contract speciffy.

Umahi castigating Obi on condemning the coastal highway is what led to this useless thread by a rabid Obidient.

You are now attacking Umahi's landmark legacies in Ebonyi state because he castigated your Messiah bitter Obi.

See the tiny cracks you are amplifying as failed construction .

Truly you Obidients are a special breed of lunatics
Read my post very well, I have not for once named anyone in my post. The Engineer or contractor who done this is at fault here, however who ever it was that allowed this to stand without calling them back to fix this is down to be blamed. And stop being ignorant about anyone who does no align with your reasoning being obidient or igbo or so and so

There is no way you won't get cracks as long as you are constructing with concrete that is expected to expand.

FYI, all bridges in Nigeria are constructed using concrete with asphalt surfacing.

Have they all cracked under the tropical sun?
If you understand simple Engineering you will get the gist that bridges are casted in segments and where these segments meet are the expansion joints.

That road posted by OP is still pliable and in far better shape than any rubbish Obi constructed that has since washed away

You people are really funny A road constructed by Otti was washed away a day after commissioning but you guys are crying over a road with tiny cracks constructed 5-6ys ago .

Continue.
This Dumb, what has Obi got to do with this shyte? concreate road will wash away quicker than earth road if not done properly, I don give a fawk what tribe or region who ever it is that done the road, fact is what is worth doing is worth doing well, simple, billions where allocated to these roads.

You guys are really born liars.

I have plied those concrete roads constructed by Dave severally even during the construction phase and yes there were considerations made for expansion.

Looking at the pics posted by OP, those tiny cracks are expected and only need bitumen to fill them up.
crack is crack, what do you mean the got expantion slots, can you see any o the picture? cos I cant

A lot of his concrete roads are failing.

David Umahi act as if he knows too much. This same man constructed concrete runway in Abakaliki airport that is not safe for planes to take-off or land on because of poor grip hence commercial airlines avoided the airport (aside that the airport has no economic value). He wasted 40billion.

While I know that concrete roads are good if they are properly constructed, like the one in gbagada, but Umahi will be forming engineer while he cannot deliver quality roads in his state.

I don't trust the quality of the concrete road that Will be delivered on the coastal road project. Umahi likes substandard and shiny things like China and Hitech construction company is not reputable enough to handle such magnitude of project. The only construction company I can trust to deliver is julius berger.
This is what happens when you give a road contract to someone who has no idea of what it takes to construct even a 10ft slab of concreate. No single expansion grove on the road!

World bank is a suspect and they are the Genesis to the financial problem we have in Nigeria. Why borrow money to Nigeria? why not levy it on an infrastructure and charge interest as such. We now owe billions to the world bank.

Quoted from the link u shared,

The Chairman of the Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms, Taiwo Oyedele, has disclosed that a mere 10% of the $20 billion 2023 diaspora remittances reached the Nigerian foreign exchange market.

The funds do not pass through Nigerian FOREX market. A lot is happening in the P2P market. Almost everyone on their whatsapp status is selling and buying dollar. It's not like people's money are not getting Nigeria.
The money is already labelled remittances, so it gets remitted but it doesn't pass through the official forex market. If someone wants to send money to their child abroad and u want to send money home to do some things. Una go deal, I believe that's what he's talking about. I stand to be corrected
Well xplained, they still dont get it.

You are part of the people dishing out false info. I stay in a 2 bedroom and pay £925 because we are a family of 3 (some people pay as low as 550 in some city like Newcastle) my bills and utility amount to £350, our running cost a month js £400, our Internet is just £40, we use 300 for feeding in a month, that's because we eat well and only do African food. My self and my wife earn about 4k pounds a month. Do your maths and use your teeth to count your tongue.

No where on earth is easy, but naija own is too much. ordinary fuel is a luxury.
I have always told people those in the Uk shouting we are dying tax tax Bils, are using the format on thier relative who are always begging for money.Imagine, I pay zero tax on my car but i n Nigeria you must pay road licence fees.

Dr Olufunmilayo
you lot are shouting, however in reality, you pay MORE IN TAX IN NIGERIA THAN THE UK
There is a system of multiple taxation in Nigeria that do not exist in the west.
