Damian911: If you pay attention to it there'll be no mistake! its very easy to make that mistake when you are paying a huge amount of persons in one day |

Rany4all: This is how I would do it:
1. Doors (especially for entrance steel doors). Advantage of doing this first is to secure the site, which can then accommodate workers and serve as store for materials.
2. Wiring - if your site is secure, doing wiring before POP is usually preferable. It's easier for the electrician and also prevents accidental damage to your POP ceiling by the electrician.
3. POP ceiling
4. Tiling
5. Screeding - some may prefer doing this before tiling, and that's still ok.
6. Painting
7. Fittings - some may prefer painting last, but I prefer fittings last to prevent paint stains on my fittings. Any dirt on the paint can be easily cleaned off esp if paint is cleanable or washable type, however paint stains on fittings can't be easily cleaned off. I think Screeding B4 tiling as these screed guys are way too messy |

kellyzaf: You need go to any UBA bank branch to lay the complain with the transfer receipt, they will check and if confirm that you truly send money to the said account, they will call the person to notify him or her to send back the money to you, then if after 24 or 48 hrs and the person did not comply, then you have to go back to the same UBA to let them know, then they will put the person's account in hold so that the person will not withdraw or transfer money out of that account. I m telling you this out of experience. Good luck This was what I did in my case. He also need a police report once they refuse to return the said sum |

Rany4all: Whether you screed or not, one coating of satin will do just fine. For emulsion however, you need 2 or 3 coats, but emulsion paint doesn't really require screeding anyway. I bet you any money if you do not screed on coating of Sartain wont do you. Fancy a bet? You talking Emulsion, What grade? if you use High grade Emulsion with screed you need one coat. |
Properties › Re: General Topic Thread-To Discuss Anything And Everything in Building Construction by erico2k2(m): 5:21pm On May 27, 2024 |
Rany4all: Your combined expense on screeding and painting together would definitely be more than what you'd spend on painting alone without screeding. you know you can add colour to ur screed, on external walls. Plus you might just get away with one topping if you screed .You will be shocked to find out the difference in 50ltr of screed and that of Sartain paint is really small!I just did mine hands on Jan just gone so I am talking from hands on experience! |

Rany4all: In my opinion, for a rental building, screeding is just an unnecessary luxury that will add little or nothing to the value of the property.
For a private residence, yes I'd absolutely go for it, but not for a commercial property.
Just make sure the plastering is done with range, and you're good to go.
PS: Not every plasterer knows how to do range plastering, especially Nigerian ones. Togolese masons are quite good at this. U save on painting when you screed. |

That is the thinking of a typical dull person How does all what you just gauged out help people to have good education? you think it ends in Pry 6?.when you cannot afford to eat how can one send their kids to Uni? you talking about good roads, has that not got to do with those that owns cars? and if you do not have a good job and an enabling frameworks to support jobs how can you afford a car? And the last statement is typical of someone who has no idea, not even up to the level of an average DULL NIGERIAN! |

seunayantokun: Well, did you read all I said? yes I did and agree with what you stated, You was whipping on the idea where its not accurate to score them and elaborating on the ills of the society. What I got to say to that is this, Those are constant in Nigeria from record go, however we crave for a leader to put it on a positive reverse trend. But today my friend the question was how much will one core BAT. |
Politics › Re: What Is Your Rating Of Tinubu’s Administration In One Year? by erico2k2(m): 11:48am On May 19, 2024 |
seunayantokun: We would be making a bad mistake to score him high just as is a bad mistake to score him low. The reason is there is no president in Nigeria that will ever give us a satisfactory performance in a country where you have weak and destroyed institutions.
The decay is continuing and worsening.
Unfortunately, Nigerians themselves don't want strong institutions, we prefer strong individuals whereas no society can ever produce a strong leader where there is no strong institution. No, there isn't! That is why in places where there should have been rays of hope like churches and mosques, we only have sour experiences.
Look at the past and present of certain political figures who are going up and down because they want to be president. Who among them is the kind of messiah figure we always crave? Bunch of untried and/or unconvicted criminals.
That is why we say brake it up or down so that we can go back and build strong relevant institutions which people can own and trust. If we restructure, aren't we going to have good leaders produced and nurtured by our institutions and for our development ?
A country where terrorists are in charge and untouchable; a country where deadly dealers are celebrated saintly saviours; a country where citizens would rather in a season take N90 billion for Mecca hajj subsidy and only God knows how much for Jerusalem and turn around to say they want a developed country like UK and US who don't send their wealth to Saudi Arabia; a country whose citizens would rather go to UAE to hide and enjoy stolen wealth but wouldn't learn and use the example of the 7-emirate structure to replicate similar or better development at home; country which ranks amongst the poorest in the world but boasts of the richest in Africa and in the world; a country where lots of people, including religious leaders, go about with unquestioned questionable wealth... Is that a country? There is a need to score him, If A president does not perform we as a country are meant to vote him out and elect a next one and same faith meets him too if he/she fails to perform, until we reach the promised land! |

khattab02: The baseline for rate is where u are coming from and where u are today.
All came to change our fortune but worsen it the more. That's a good reference point. Presidents are elected on the premise of improving the already Bad state of affairs of a country or maintain its prosperity. The reason we moved from PDP to APC was hoping for renewed hope |

Paramount01: For real! I just said it now, if you did not see anything this govt had done in infrastructure you have marked Tinubu a failure even before he started, for debate's sake, let me list them
I am a transporter, I move around the country roads ,where I base now is Sokoto, federal Govt is presently dualization of sokoto to Zaria Road with standard concrete, coastal raod is there, and Bunue to Enugu road is there, just finish 3rd millain bridge.all these with a year.
Sports: I know you are blind to see what super eagles did in afcon ,that was not enough, Nigeria became the second-best country in all just concluded all Africa game's
All these happen as a result of prompt supply of well standard equipment for training, instant or prompt payment of all benefits on like before.i have much to type ,let me finish park How does any of this help the man on the street? Did you buy petrol today Will you pay your house rent Month end? When last did you pay school fees? How about your cooking gas, have you not increased the money you give your wife as feeding money? is it enough with the new found reality of BAT? |
