How do you think the Discos say the never received power from Gencos?Who is the seller and transfer of electricity btw Generation and users?. Lastly I don't thin you know who the TCN are, there is no common MAN in TCN, they are like the CBN.They are in 3 locations in Nigeria, Abuja, PHC and somewhere else in the North, They are the remaining of the top brass of the defunct NEPA. https://tcn.org.ng/ see 4 yourself. |

Sir forget about those staff looking for there daily bread are they the one to use there personal money to buy transformer or maintenance of the machine. The reason why power has not improved is these Devil @ TCN, the are the RED tapes remaining in the power industry.Who do you think is responsible for all the power i infrastructures between the GENCOs and the DICOs? answer the TCN, Transmission company of Nigeria. They are another band of civil servants in the power sector, just like the NNPC. |

Remman: The problem is, provision of meters is the responsibilities of the electricity companies but they're pushing it on the consumers because of the cost. That's what you'll get as an import dependent country.
Also, they're not ready to sign a 10 to 20years deal with a manufacturing company to loan them 100million prepaid meters while they pay up in 20years or so depending on the agreement. And such company also needs to come to Nigeria and do the manufacturing with our local resources in order to cut cost. They can as well ask FG to subsidize the cost.
If FG loans our entire electricity production to china, this is what they'll do. They'll make sure that every point of consumption has prepaid meters for free or at a very low cost. Then lack of electricity will be past a past history. where have you been? Prepaid are manufactured in Nigeria as we speak, and its proudly written on it,I bought 4xsingle phase meters and 1x3phase meter in my building this feb in PHC, the 3 phase cost me 75k and the single cost me 45k each |

Remman: If at the end of the day there's no prepaid meters distributed to every single point of consumption in the entire places where there will be electricity reach, such that if there's no light the electricity company won't make money, then this whole rebranding of corruption will never work. anything that gives room to Estimated billings in this 21st century will not change our electricity production capacity. Prepaid is the way 4ward.Even if prepaid is N150k I will encourage o ne to buy it cos as it stands average 2bed home has xtimatd N25k xtimatd bill monthly,Light dey light nor dey |

Bullfallo: ..only in Nigeria.
National grid should be dissolved. Let states and local government takes charges of their power generation and supply. But corruption and personal interest will not make that to work.
Only the youth can fix this country. All the older man don’t know anything concerning modern society National grid is the way, states are not xcluded in providing their own power as it stands today, it the responsibility of your own state government to provide its own power if they can afford it. No one is stopping them. |

Treadway: it is simpler sef. But dem don take lies and deception curse the APC and their hopeless minions. Refined petroleum products gulps 37% of FX. Commonsense dictates that once we can refine our products in Nigeria, there will be a lot of dollars freed up and available. Of course, petrol price will go up to the thousands but the naira will be stronger and better ( this is for those who somehow expect Dangote to reduce petrol price🤣, petrol costs more to refine that diesel, so if diesel is 1k, find X)
But we still dey wait for PH refinery after the third deadline elapsed March 31, and Dangote date remains unknown.
But once you dare call out the lies, deception and propaganda, some unfortunate accursed fellows will say you're unpatriotic.
All those who hailed Buhari for 8 years only to turn around and blame him and have now carried on that same legacy to this one, una no go die better. Your lives will perpetually remain in the state Nigeria is today, one without purpose and direction!

tuzle: The bankers that go to work during public holidays get paid for it and the nurses and doctors fall into a special case of workers. This is why sometimes we adopt a nonchalant attitude in Nigeria, it Mayday here public holiday and I am at work, I am a salary earner in London so get paid at the end of each month. There is nothing wrong if you have to go to work on a public holiday to carry out tasks. |

tuzle: I am not disputing the fact that they have to work monthly, but today is a public holiday. U employed them as teachers not marketers and even if u want them to do such work, why not make it during working hours, why must it be on a public holiday? Public holidays are for civil servants by default, there is nowhere i n law that mandates private companies to observe public hoiday. But I get your point. Even some bankers will go to work during public holidays. Doctors and nurses and other emergency services go to work during public holidays! |

SoNature: Federal government should sell its power assets to states, private sector or make it a PPP. Tinubu has already signed the power bill, allowing states to handle the three sections of the electricity industry.
States should start generating, transmitting and distributing power. How long do we have to continue with this madness called national grid to admit that it's not working? Every day it keeps collapsing like it's epileptic. Where have you been? does the FG still own any of the GENCOs? have they not sold all?, what I xpect all Nigerians to campaign for is to scraap this blood suckling TCN and is putting irons in to the electrical works in Nigeria. |
Education › Re: Is This Proper In A Private School Settings? by erico2k2(m): 11:09am On May 01, 2024 |
tuzle: I was discussing with a friend of mine who is a teacher in a private school. I jokingly told him that as par there will be a public holiday tomorrow, that he would have a day rest when work hasn't started yet. That was how he told me that the school asked them to come around tomorrow, that they will be going for publication to distribute fliers around the environment.
Now my problem with this is that this particular school each arm has A to E (for example jss1 A to E) and they have more than 30 students in each class. So I was wondering why they are now troubling their teachers for something that isn't in their job description.
Like why can't the owner employ people to help him do the publication or go to radio or tv station for advert and the fact the teachers won't be paid for what they are doing as it is counter by the owner as part of their work. Is this behavior proper because it kinds of sounds annoying to me working in the sun on a public holiday just because of the owners selfish interest.
File photo They are paid monthly so are recquired to work monthly, reason been they are working in the private sector. |
