Neoteny:
The history of all warfare with mass casualties, from medieval Europe to the World Wars to Vietnam, Korea, Falklands, and Ukraine-Russia were started by Christians.

Christian wars have killed hundreds of millions of people more than a few foreign sponsored terrorists and bandits have killed.

Who created terrorism? Israel from the Irgun and Haggana

Who funded Osama bin Laden and the Mujahedeen? The US CIA

Who funded ISIS against Syria and Libya? The US

Who funded Hamas against the Fatah? Israel.

Why are there no genocide of Christians in Indonesia (the most populous Muslim country) or the Gulf States? Heck, Christians and westerners flock to the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, etc for employment, investment and vacation...even Trump.

Christian countries should stop starting world wars and funding terrorism.
You are Ignorant, and you here writing all this lobish bakes the cake, Have you ever seen or heard anyone kill anybody in the name of Jesus?
No this is where religion gets silly, after Jesus the next prophet was Mohammed.no one kills in the name of Mohammed, So whats the xcuse ?

Maybe they see Poverty written all over you and think you are very Hungry and Deprived, which is how they perceive most Black Immigrants and incase you dont now, the White folks (and probably everyone) derives a sense of satisfaction, a sense of being empowered and a sense of superiority, when they do these "giving out Alms to the less privileged" immigrants and the Poor, even if the same person will take actions that will inflict pain on you the next minute or are the ones even responsible for your poor state, in the first place.

When it is said that "The Hand of the Giver is Always on Top", it is a description of that sense of Superiority and Satisfaction of being "Economically Better than these Poor Immigrants". grin grin

My Prayer has always been that God should not allow me to face any situation that will make me to go and 'beg' for food, from the courtyard of my 'enemy'.
God has been Faithful.
I pray God will elevate you too, to a position where you can be giving out food and other forms of Alms
This is the Dumbest post I have ever read this December, Did you not see the part where OP said there is a big storage area where people dump things and anyone is allowed to go there to collect? There is no target colour or race or age as to who goes there rather those in need go there, white blue red whatever you look like, Make Una get sense small its almost 2026.

Hmmmmm.....and not to even mention how this kind of mentality is one of the major causes of Nigeria's backwardness today.

Politicians would steal money of live TV and come and run campaign and you'll see people in numbers cheering him on and some defending online.....same applies to Religious leaders and celebrities..... it's the very people that should make them feel they did wrong that'll be cheering them on and backing them then turn around to lament on how the country is getting worst ignoring their own contributions to the rot.

Life is simple....what you sow is what you reap ...you can't sow stupidity and evil and hope that praying all day will change the outcome of the harvest.
you couldn't have put it any better.

This is the very firdt time am going to church in my life and i received such gifts.

Our Nigerian Christian community don't practicalise love
By January they will call for first fruit... That's all ur salaries.
Remember this December they called for thanksgiving where members will bring or empty their purse.
Then we talk about tithe and offering
And unending seed sowing.

So i was excited to share to show love still exists in Christian communities.
Keep sharing p lz, ignore the ignorant ones for they still live in darkness.

Following "Christ" entails seeking leaders whose actions matched their words......you can't just follow anyone and claim you're following Christ...... infact, you've been mandated to not just ignore evil/wrong doing but to call it out and fight it.

When the head is rotten.....you know what they say becomes of the body.
Yes true, but like what I have always said, Poverty ,Ignorance and the will to not bother to ask question fuels the narrative as described by you.
Steve Harvey in his show openly told a pastor off that he will never pay first fruit and he asked the guy, Do you know what my salary is? and do you know what 10% of my income is?

you reserve no right to tell him off the thread, it a public and open forum for all, if you don't want opposite opinion you are the one that should have stayed off.

my question is, what is the population of that church.

with you asking people to stay off it's obvious you are targeting the Nigerian churches.

you are contradicting yourself with the bolded there. first time of attending a church "in your life", yet you are dissecting a church inside out?

beside you don't know the church like you claim. you only judge the church based on hearsay, the general judgemental opinion of those that are positioned to bring down the church. I'm not saying all churches are good but backlash against Christianity for no reason is out of it.

I'm not against what ever the charity out there, good thing to do and I love it. as a people (Nigerians) are too entitled, even when can afford it, we still want it for free even at the expense of those that really needs it.

they won't rather they will whimp, they don't pay tithe, those paying aren't complaining, even the one individual that can't explain what church is would scream the loudest.
YOu belong to that group that man call church MUGU ,
Churches in the west are registered under the charity ACT, so even those who do not go to church believe in charity so they are welcome to donate and colect items. Now you brother church wey dem say Him be Embassy, HE did same registered his church under same charity but them nor see thier charity only Millions flowing out of the UK, chey the UK taxman hold Him brokos since!!!!

In this unbelievable viral video, a woman and several others, including children, found themselves stuck inside a malfunctioning elevator in abuja for hours.
Watch as panic slowly sets in, people sweat it out in the cramped space, and one person even tries to stay calm while feeding a baby.
This terrifying incident raises serious questions: Was the elevator overloaded? Poor maintenance? Or just terrible luck in a busy building? Nigerians are furious, calling out building management and safety standards across the country. Moments like this remind us how quickly everyday situations can turn dangerous.
This incident sparked massive reactions across social media – was it poor maintenance, overload, or just bad luck?
The broke down of the elevator is not anyone's fault as this happen everyday round the world. But the problem here is how and why did it take that long to get them out cos lift round the world have safety mechanism to rescue people.

If you see landlords that bully tenants for no good reason, you won't care if this law will discourage people from renting their house out

Even if you pay your rent duely and even handle repairs for landlord, some landlords will still bully you for no good reason

In some houses, do you know that you can't even buy that you need because that would be your greatest undoing?

Imagine buying something in the day time and you have to wait till night to bring it home because you don't want your landlord to see it

This are some of the things some innocent tenants face from landlords
These are ill exposed people or those who inherit properties from others.

This is nice actually, many landlord now do this. Proper KYC before on boarding their tenants.
A colleague's landlord even asked the guy for proof of employment at renewal of his rent. Meaning that of job loss occurs, Na Oyo for such tenants.
Yep, I wanna know how you can pay rent. And once you default, we go to court and eviction is eminent, cos tenant would have broken the contract.

I can see most landlords frowning at this law as it has empowered tenants and checkmated the excesses of landlords.

With the provision of accelerated hearing of cases in court, this is a nice development.
Not at ALl, they just copied the UK version of landlord Tennant law,
Every Genuine Landlord would be happy as it protects them too. Landlord can now evict tenants quickly if they broke any term of the contract.
Security Deposit will now be more ie caution fee.
It means everything must work like they did when the house was first rented when you are leaving.
The landlord can now stipulate the number of people that must live in the house ie 1 bed max of two people if you have a kid you must move out, etc.

Nigerians are enterprising and remarkably resilient. When faced with obstacles, we rarely wait for permission people organise, adapt, and push forward with collective determination. So it’s hardly surprising that the first sector to receive a waiver is one largely dominated by Nigerians and Ghanaians. Ironically, this same level of coordination and problem-solving is often absent in Nigeria itself (Nairaland included).

At home, it too often dissolves into noise, infighting, and endless debate. Same people, very different outcomes.

Land can also depreciate in value if the area becomes less desirable due to new developments and the services/utilities deteriorating.

The land could also be invaded and occupied by terrorists, bandits and other criminals making it less attractive to use.

Finally, the government could acquire the land without compensation.

Everything has its own risks.
How can a land in Nigeria as we speak depreciate, explain to me i n actual reality as reflective of our present times.
A house will surely depreciate if you do not provide funds to maintain it, Land needs no maintenance.
True Gov can acquire it, but this is where due diligence comes into play.
