MobilityExpress: Skill and talent it is. And by education, my context was based on certification. In the past, they programmed the society to believe that without certification you can't amount to anything in life. But today, that mold is breaking and not holding water. How many footballers earning tens of millions of pounds per year went to school, let alone have any certification. So certification no longer is the ONLY way to get rich. There are other ways. I'm not saying certification is bad or not necessary. I'm just saying, it's not a do or die affair like they always made us believe. Before, how many parents will want their child to enrol in a football academy? 98% want their children to be doctors, lawyers and engineers. But today, it's not like that. Before, it's mostly poor man's children going into music, but today even the rich kids are trooping into it. So my point is, education is no longer the only SURE way to get rich. You still do not get it, do you? the issue of the certificate was the only way was limited to Nigerians and Africans only, this was never the case in the Developed countries of the world. Once again I will steer you to my initial narrative. Talent is what you get as humans, you or someone else needs to discover it, you cant learn it rather you can develop it. Education, on the other hand, is what you must learn you having a certificate or not is another ball game. And let me ask you, do you know the numbers of courses and training footballer undertake |

salford: While sport people and entertainers are absolute exceptions. Education can be very overrrated. Canada is a very good case study. Canada is more of what you have to offer not how many academic qualifications you have. Please tell me what you are going to do in Canada if you do not have any form of a certificate/Training.I want to know please |

MobilityExpress: Boxing, football, music. Book is overrated abeg. How many PhD holders get between $15m - $200m in less than 2 hours to punch someone, how many educationalists get paid a contract of £120k/wk to kick a ball around for around 1hr 30mins or less. How many professors can afford to buy a Bugatti Veyron, McLaren, Lamborghini etc anytime they like. Education is just another matrix system to keep the masses in the pockets of the rich, the engine room to help keep the rich getting richer, while they pay you peanuts. This is 2019, education is an option, not the ultimate . If Education is not the key to actualisation please, by all means, what is it then? mind you going to school and having a PhD does not necessarily translate into education! The great scientist of our time never hard any form of PHD so to speak! |

Hadampson: Freedom of movement and work (easy access travel to other European destinations)
With German passport, you can travel to more countries
The limitless speed on the autobahn and the overall culture of Europe
Better economy ( Germany is the economic powerhouse of Europe and number 4 in the world)
School is relatively cheap. You don't have to pay anything apart from the money in the block account. They have very good record in education structure.
The weather and the accessibility to EU market plus Germany is massively industrialized which makes her have an edge over Canada
Germany is located in the centre of Europe. You can reach countless number of countries in a 2 hour flight.
Germany has research institutions than Canada and faculties in Germany are more well versed.
Lots of History, Architecture, ancient artifacts etc
These are ways by which Germany is better than Canada... State your own... Let's see In Germany how long would it take you to attain the same level of language to the standard you will require in Canada? How long would it take one to study to get to the level of NVQ2 equivalent? or Health care NVQ2? Im not going to dive into being a security or civil enforcement officer! |

MobilityExpress: Germany's problem is how to get there. Once you get there, cased closed. You can file for asylum, you can stay as a refugee. They are very refugee tolerant, hardly will they deport. Plenty opportunity like free education, their citizens are too liberal, so you might even find one oyinbo girl that will just accept you like that without doing anything and pay your bills and accommodation. Canada is just like USA, same jungle, same predators, only different color of grass, only the strong or talented or book smart or street smart survives. why won't you be book smart in 2019, what else is there to do? |

teemy: To burn down anyone's source of livelihood over trespassing is purely wrong and even though they could have been warned to move, evicting them by following due process of inviting law enforcement would have been the right thing to do. However, we were not told exactly who warned of wanting to burn down the place. One thing I know is that with the way church leaders are politically connected, getting the police to clear out the traders would have been an easy ride which makes me think the church might not be responsible here. More info is needed. THEY NEVER DID IT,The have issued out a statement |

Christianity Etc › Re: Sellers Goods At Dunamis, Abuja Burnt by erico2k2(m): 12:50pm On Mar 27, 2019 |
alBHAGDADI: The people failed to heed warning. What's the essence of confisticating the goods when the traders will return if they given back to them? if ur good where taken and you was meant t to pay a huge penalty to get them back, I'm very sure you won't go back there. There are more than one way to skin a cat. This does not go well with people who are trying to earn a living whom the church suppose to protect, .You seem to 4get this is a church, not some company. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Sellers Goods At Dunamis, Abuja Burnt by erico2k2(m): 12:47pm On Mar 27, 2019 |
alBHAGDADI: So because you want to seek your goods, you now have to do in front of my gate as if it's a government designated market spot?
The goods were burnt? Isn't that similar to Jesus scattering the wares of those traders at the temple, whether inside or not?
If the church did wrong, take them to court. But if not, don't complain. When Jesus scattered the goods did the traders not pick up their wears from the ground and moved along? Did you see Jesus coming with his disciples to burn down the shops in the middle of the night?? If you want to imitate Jesus at least try up to 50% no 00000000.001% |
Christianity Etc › Re: Sellers Goods At Dunamis, Abuja Burnt by erico2k2(m): 12:45pm On Mar 27, 2019 |
alBHAGDADI: Before you react to this, first out sentiment aside. The church has every right to do whatever it likes on its property. I can only feel a bit concerned if they didn't warn the traders beforehand. However, Remember Jesus didn't warn those traders who turned God's temple into a market place before he flogged them away from the place.
If you put sentiment aside, you will see that we are currently living lawlessly in Nigeria. We have Keke drivers blocking the entrance of a street just because they are looking for passengers. Market women cover half of a busy road causing traffic just cos they want to sell their wares. Danfo buses parking and picking up passengers anywhere as if they don't have bus stops anymore. This illegality has turned our brain upside down that we now frown at measures use to curtail them.
I won't be surprise to see Christians criticize the church for what it did which Jesus Christ also did. Cant the goods be confiscated? instead of putting people in misery?? would that not have been a more humane punishment? |

integrity16: Peace have to be restored before any OSR can be carried out by NOSDRA, others.
If the government feels it is the soldiers that can restore law and order then so be it. Some of these oil spills are as a result of third party interference by the boys and the same boys would still be protesting accusing everyone of environmental degradation.
Let there be peace first, then a Joint Investigation Visit (JIV) be carried out to determine the actual cause of spill, level and extent of impact of the spill in other to determine how clean up would be carried out. WHo do you think supervises the Oil bunkers and who do you really think are the Oil Bunkers? you are reasoning the groundnut money the boys in the bush get?? the bigger boys are the ones protected by this same soldier hence the Navy are sidelined. All those big monies shared in ABJ where do you think it all come from? IGR? Abeg I dey laugh |

integrity16: I am aware the relationship between them are not that great, all parties involved are to blame for it. Especially the traditional chiefs who go behind to extort money from OICs.
One of the reason why Ogoni clean up hasn't started is because some of the ogonis wants the money to be shared amongst themselves and the government going by their anti corruption crusade dont want such a situation.
The OICs and the others have their own issues too. So I think putting the army there might be the first step of ensuring peace is restored, any other measures can then follow. you know nothing, John Snow. |
