I think PDP must lose at every election in Nigeria before we can describe an election as free and fair. PDP might be performing badly as a party that controls our economy, but they still exist as a party with largest or second largest supporters in most states of the federation. In most elections, it's either they come first or second. Opposition can not always win before we can say an election is free and fair in Nigeria.

E go better for you, Akwa Ibom, Enugu, Rivers, Cross River and a handful of states will definitely reelect their govs under PDP in a free and fair election, A free and fair election is nt only when the ruling party loses,

With the Delta north votes overwhelmingly going to Uduaghan,, the Itsekiri votes, the other minorities and a large percentage of loyal Urhobo votes, Uduaghan can win, Thats Naija politics for you. In most cases its not about who will perform better but where he comes from, I rest my case

Believe me the problem I have with you and people who share your views is that you are not strategic thinkers.
Apart from a promise of Igbo president in 2015 (which I think is fake) you have nothing else to show for us to believe that supporting a northerner over Jonathan is a better move.
If you think a little bit, you would see that even if the north support us for 2015 presidency, they would likely insist on a candidate of their choice, like they did with Obasanjo in the turn of Yorubas.  I can assure you that  is not what Ndigbo needs.
We want far more than just a figure head president who would do northern bidding over Eastern or Igbo prerogatives.   We simply need a base, a real base with clout. After building that base, we can confidently walk up the the rest of Nigeria and present one of us as president to them. They would trust us then because they would have seen what we did with our own region.
