irumole1975:You're so selfish oo, irunmolę . Nothing lasts forever. Hope you know this |
One of the cabals in Nigeria. If you know, you know. I won't say much until after May 29 drama |
E reach dem turn now, dem com.dey intimidate everyone, including Obi. APC is the most useless party ever known. They only thrive on propaganda. Peter Obi will teach them a lesson in court and they know it already hence, the intimidation here and there. |
Ekeadatrust:I submitted on the 15th March, case created and first updated on the 17th March and application changed from no status to Application received....as screenshot from the beginning, then modifications continued...20th,23rd,28th,30,31st,3rd,4th, and finally ,5th April. |
sotall:There are no competent individuals among Christians, right? |
Ttalk:I'm an advocate of a good governance. Obidient or not. Even if my fellow Obidients do the wrong thing, I'd tackle them |
MissLeslie:Your narrative is so biased. Jonathan was a Christian president, his vp was a Muslim from Kaduna...so, you expect number 3 man to also be a Muslim? Tinubu a president-elect and a Muslim, the vice is also a Muslim, so you expect the number 3 man to also be a Muslim? This is common sense. |
Popdes:it was May. I didn't do anything to get a rescheduled date. It was the embassy who sent me an email to notify me of this change. Several other applicants also received same mail regarding this from them. I got to know of this at Isolo DHL office the day I went for submission. |
Rockie30:You should get a feedback today with a changed status. Mine, just as those who got approved yesterday took 3 straight weeks to process. Just be positive. Ordinarily, IW application shouldn't encounter any issues. Even if your mission for visiting US is over at the time of submission, your application would still be approved, based on my experience, provided everything is right with your application. If you've not overstayed in any of your previous visits and you didn't submit a conflicting piece of information in your DS160 application, there shouldn't be any issues as well. This often happens to those who engaged agents to fill out their DS160 on their behalf ( i strongly kick against this). Don't always assume your agents know you and your family more than you do. It took me time to complete my DS160 due to my busy schedules, Any applicant in my shoes could adopt same method. Fill-in a little, save your inputs and log out, until you are finally done. Always DIY. NL is a very rich source of info for your visa applications. This thread has helped me a lot and for many years as a silent reader before I finally joined NL. You guys are amazing. Justwise, I hail oo ![]() What I've also noticed is, couples' applications do encounter some unexplainable delays. Husbands would have their application approved much earlier than their wives'. Some were asked to do a follow up appointment for kids and they're still waiting . This baffles me. |
Predictions are coming to pass gradually. The word of God won't go unfulfilled . Awolowo also said, when the time is ripe, everyone will fight for their freedom. . Yorubanation agitation rages on. We need to be free. |
E be like say those of us wey submit application via IW on the 15th March dey plenty for this thread . Maybe because the embassy rescheduled a lot of applicants' submission dates to an earlier date cos crowd was much at the Isolo Office of DHL that morning, quite unusual. Mine was approved yesterday as well after tracking my application twice on ceac. It was still showing application received in the morning. The status changed around 3pm to approved, when I tracked again, after 8 modifications. 3 weeks was the longest of my wait time ever. I wouldn't know why. |
I expected aero to have come back stronger and better after a long time of recess. My colleague and i had vowed never to board aero again before they went on break. It was in 2021. We boarded in abuja and headed for lagos in the night. Mid air, a carbin crew member with a co-pilot came to have a chat with us as they put it, that the plane had developed fault so, it would be returning to abuja for an emergency landing. We were over 30 minutes away from abuia already. See pandemonium. Eventually, we landed in abuja safely. Almost half of the passengers disembarked and went to town. They said they weren't going to lagos again. The plane refuelled after the fault was rectified. We landed safely in lagos around midnight. The NCAA should do the needful right away to prevent a disaster. |
nuttycaptain:clear cache or login with a different browser. Those using Google chrome would always encounter this hitch. |
XAUBulls:All these for me? . Challenge all I said about Tinubu if I lied. I'm waiting. Do you know the meaning of character defamation? I'd rather advise you direct your epistles to the likes of Dino Melaye, those who attack Tinubu without facts. |
Fashola and Ambode remain our heros of democracy and good governance. I wish Tinubu had allowed Fashola to run since he didnt like Osinbajo's face. Fashola seems to be the only minister that is working in Baba's cabinet. I am so happy Baba did not allow tinubu to choose his cabinet ( ministerial appointment) from Lagos for him. Tinubu had a preferred minister but Buhari turned him down and said it was fashola he wanted as he had the right to pick whoever he preferred to work with him then, tinubu kicked. He sponsored some elements of the NA to smear Fashola and level unfounded allegations against him, starting from the Ikoyi Shopping mall contract. Eventially, Fashola prevailed and he was confirmed by the NA. That tinubu of a man is worse than the devil. |
Berrityga:That is for those of you wey no wan cut their suits according to ya clothes, lol. Mny are running away from weddings or marriages nowadays because of material things that will fade with time. If they dont have a flat, good-paying jobs...or probably own a car, they wont marry. They have forgotten that it's God who provides because He's the foundation of every home. Such expectations usually come from ladies of nowadays. Everyone is looking up to the likes Femi Otedola without knowing how they got there today. His dad was a mere printer at shomolu while Femi was the one attending to clients in their very tiny shop. They never dreamt of a better life. His Dad got one connection during the IBB government to print materials for the use of the military government nationwide and he became rich for life. When people were yearning for democracy, IBB single handedly recommended Sir Michael Otedola, Femi's dad to contest and the rest is history today. Many youths of nowadays cant endure hardship. They want to blow effortlessly. That's a good reason many are still single. Life is a process my friend. You cannot skip the process and expect magic. Who you wan take am resemble...baba God? To the young couple, congrats. They are still growing. I wish them the very best. |
Just as predicted before the presidential elections, we'd have a mixed party assembly this time, where no single party would always have their ways on every hais and nays. This is good for our democracy in a multi ethnic nation as ours. |
DMerciful:He was so clueless. He had all the power. See what's happening today....selection instead of election. I'm sure buhari wouldn't have made such a mistake, if he were in Jonathan's shoes |
Imagine the selfish Atiku allowing Obi that mandate? By now, it would have been a different ball game. He left the party moment he realised the dirty politics being played by the desperate Atiku. Atiku knew it was the south's turn but hijacked the primaries with money. Tinubu and Atiku are an error in our leadership space. They're both corrupt fellows. They both hijacked their primaries with money. Leadership is by choice. I heard someone asking...what about wike? Wike my foot! He would t have won the south south sef, talk less of the entire country. Wike is a bad... I mean a very bad blood. If buhari should swear in Tinubu, he will be setting a very bad precedent for our democracy in Nigeria. I'm sure he'd think twice on this. |
IyaebeTheGreat:Which sane human being with a conscience will work for Tinubu? I wish Omo-Agege the very beat in his future endeavours. He's free from failed and corrupt association of politicians for life. Go and sin no more.my brother. |
ebubeson:Hmmm. My already married exes still disturb me till date. I only ignore their calls after knowing their intentions. I assist when i feel like and with no strings attached...whenever i notice it's getting to...I missed you a lot, I wish I married you instead, why are you sounding so romantic on phone (as if my voice has changed), then I know it's time to end the call. If she calls again, I ignore. Not because I'm being rude or arrogant. It's because what's not good doesn't have another name. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. |
N3TRAL:Simply put, life is all about education of the mind. This is lacking amongst most of our politicians. In those days when there was no certificate or paper form of education , our Obas ruled their people peacefully and successfully. It was because they possessed education of the mind |
Dreal1247:From primaries to presidency, tinubu bribed his way through. Its will be a shameful thing, should buhari go ahead and hand over to tinubu. We're watching! |
Damage control over Kogi massacre? I was expecting this anyways. What a failed government. ![]() |
This was what we wanted to end and they're calling us names. As long as this party remains in power, nothing will change |
Okay . Testing the mike, I'd call this. Everyone will get served. When other oil exporting nations are benefiting from the increase in crude price per barrel and heaping up their reserves, Nigeria's reserves keep depleting with nothing to show for the excess crude prices. When prices dropped to as low as 40usd a barrel, we no gree hear word but now that they're enjoying the increase, they're keeping quiet. I'd advise any futuristic youths who wish to japa in search of greener pastures or further studies to not hesitate to do that. Save money and go. Though it's though out there but it's much better than when you're home, placing your hope in this failed government. Time waits for nobody. Add 10 years to your present age and you'd understand better. The time to act is now. The UK government released over 36k list of UK companies who wanted to hire skilled workers on Feb 4th. You could benefit from this. Always read to tap information. Dont always waste your data insulting people on NL People are already taking advantage of this. Google it, its online. Don't mind them when they say there's employment reserved for the youths somewhere. You and I know it's their usual lies. None of their children is here and those who are here are the ones benefiting from their political influences while they give you crumbs, if at all you see that crumbs. Our jagaban son got the contracts of all his father's campaign billboards nationwide. Where were those killing themselves over him, calling people unprintable names? Don't they deserve to be considered too? Enough said. |
Bobority:All commercial banks render this service. Waiting time could differ and customers are being treated on a first-in-first served basis. In case you have an account with one of the new banks, you could be served faster because applicants wouldn't be much on queue. Since you asked, I use polaris for all my foreign and fx transactions and they're faster, even though I also operate accounts with some other banks. Traffic there is less, based on my experience. If you're resident in Lagos, just go to their HQ and ask of Mrs. Adesanya. She's head of their fx desk. Tell her one of their customers directed you. She's a kind lady and am sure the process would be faster, than when you apply at the branch level ....that's if you already had an account with polaris The rule of the game is, always book and pay ahead of your trip if you have the money. I always book at least, 1 month to my travels, both home and abroad and its been my habit for several years. Same applies to my hotel bookings. You'd save a lot of money, doing this. Good luck! |
falcon01:I see! So, what would you say of those who had the organ transplanted but still couldn't survive it? What's more easier...seeking God's face for healing? Divine Healing isn't for everyone and that's why i asked him that question earlier. How can you get healed when you don't have faith or never believe in the existence and power of God? Do you think most of these rampant cases nowadays are ordinary? I wish him best of luck. |

Yes and yes, even though I'm a scientist, I don't underestimate the healing power of the Almighty. |
Elweezy07:Great! Please get closer to God. The organ transplant won't be needed again. I'm speaking from experience. You can use the money to better your lots |
Elweezy07:Sorry before you think of this...have you sought God's face first for healing? Do you believe in God? I'm sorry for sounding religous. |
