Jeffrey Guterman, a retired American mental health counsellor, has filed a request to the Federal Bureau of Intelligence, FBI, asking it to release its file on Nigeria’s President-elect Bola Tinubu.

The information Guterman is asking the FBI to release is related to Tinubu’s $460,000 forfeiture on a drug trafficking case he had in the United States of America in 1993.

Taking to his verified Twitter handle on Thursday, the health counsellor disclosed that he had filed an expedited request because of Tinubu’s reported drug trafficking.

According to him, Tinubu’s reported drug trafficking case is a threat to the public.

He wrote: “I just sent a request to the @FBI to release their file on Bola Tinubu based on the U.S. Freedom of Information Act.”

It's not a denial. Maybe they needed to be convinced of your travel purpose. You'd definitely be invited for a follow up interview. Just be prepared and respond with whatever info the VO requested in the 221g letter, which will accompany your passport. Good luck!

Since I started dating I never took any of my agemates serious because I knew from day1 the relationship won't lead to marriage.

. After one child,.she's become like a balloon, even if you married her at 18. I had a bureaux de change agent whom I once liked. Our relationship was strictly business related, no strings attached. The moment she got married and had a child, her body structure changed completely. She had so much fat in her lower abdomen as if she put heavy stone there. In short, she looked obese. Her face became so fat.

It doesn't matter the age of your wife. If she's the type who watches her diet with good exercise, she'd be OK. One thing I've noticed about Nigerian women is, once they get married, its bye to dieting and exercise. They don't know that's even when they need exercise the most. They now lose their good shape and look.

I wonder why some guys get married or consider getting married to their classmates. Most classmates are agemates, I can never get married to my agemate. Most women age faster than men, later in life your wife would look like your elder sister or mum.

I met some of my secondary school classmates sometime ago, you won't even believe we were classmates. They all look more matured than me, fat and all that......My girlfriend even called one aunty . I know I will also call their husbands bros because I am very sure they'll be far older than me.

This isn't true. My wife was 29 while I was 30 when we got married. It's a long time now..she looks much younger than her age. People often find it difficult to believe when she tells them her age. If you like,.marry an 18-year old girl and see how she looks after 2 children if she doesn't keep her body well.

@FRANCISTOWN, na wetin women com do you like this? Most of them had delayed marriages while some remained single for life due to the disappointment from guys like you. They didn't choose the status or condition in which they found themselves. Some chose to pursue career instead of getting married early and this is so common among our yoruba ladies. That doesn't mean they're not attractive or lived a wayward past but because they chose to embrace careers instead.

Let me shock you. I married a virgin lady at 29 while i was 30 plus. Very pretty. She chose to keep herself. She had had failed relationships in the past because sex was introduced. Each time she turned down guys sex offers, the next thing was to breakup.

My advise is, seek God's face before you marry. Even if she's pretty and in her early 20s, she can still frustrate your life or become wayward or a monster when she eventually enters your home. A lot of people have missed it in life by making wrong choices in their marriages. I remember a lady who once came to see a Dr friend for counselling. She said she's been waiting all these years to marry a tall guy, thinking he'd be able to satisfy her in bed but what she got was the opposite. She actually met a tall and handsome guy but this one had a very small genital. She was all in tears. My friend now cancelled her. He told her to make do with what she had. He said its a wrong notion that once a guy is tall, his genital too would be long. He said many short men he had seen had very long genitals. He mentioned a patient whose wife ran out of the house because of his big and long genital yet the man was short.

If you pray to God on the kind of woman you want, you'd not make a wrong choice, regardless of age, status or even outward look. Madam Okonjo-iweala's husband would forever be grateful to God for his choice, Madam Oby Ezekwesili husband too. You know these ladies aren't pretty outwardly but full of beauty on the inside. Millions of women globally now wish to be like them. That's what I'm saying.

I had my B1/B2 interview yesterday 18th Apr and my visa was denied along with my wife and my 3yrs old baby.

Location: U.S embassy Lagos

Our interview timing scheduled for 7:30 a.m we reach embassy around 5:45am, soon the security screening started and people started lining up according to the timing slot. We were lined up and like 70 other applicant were in front of us. But due to the fact that we had a baby, the security guys gave us expedite service and we were brought to the front row for the security check.

Fast forward getting to the interview hall. Also many applicants were aiidy lined up. Again they gave us expedite services and we were lined up to the front when they want to check our documents. The guy collected our passport and after checking all our docs. He asked me hw old is our baby and I said 2 n half years old, he then insert a pink carbon paper inside my baby's passport that we can show them on the next queue so they will attend to us fast.

Again they place us in the front to have our biometric. It was a white woman who did our biometric, and told us my baby won't need to do biometric .. but my baby insist she wanna do biometric and started disturbing us.

Now, after biometric and again they took us to counter window 5. It was a black America lady.
She approves the 2 guys in front of us for F1 visa.

Interview proper.
VO: Good morning, hw are you
Me and My Wife: Fine...Thank you (with a little smile)
VO: Ur passport pls
Me: (gave all our 3 passports)
VO: (first question asking me) have you travelled before?
Me: Yes, have been to India and Dubai.
VO: (she asked my wife the same question)
My wife: Yes, have been to Dubai and Oman

VO: why are you travelling to the United states
Me: I'm going to the United state for the 2023 Midwest Travel Network conference which is coming up in Kansas city...and as a travel Manager in my company.. my company is sending me for....(VO cuts in)

VO: Midwest what?
Me: Midwest Travel Network conference, and I try to expatiate on it further. (keeps typing)

VO: who is sponsoring you?
Me: my company will be sponsoring my trip and I will sponsor my wife and my kids

VO: is company sponsoring ur family also?
Me: No, I will be responsible for my wife and my kid.

VO: how long will you be staying?
Me: 2 weeks

VO keeps typing... for another 1-2mins and turns to my wife.
VO: What do you do?
My wife: I have a restaurant which I run and I have some staffs there
VO: (keeps typing) and ask my wife again
are you seeking any medical attention.
My wife: No...
VO: You are not going for any medical attention?
We both answer together: NO
VO: keeps typing again for long time......

VO: Sorry but you are not qualified at this time
She hands us the blue paper (214B)

Me: Thanks and we left.

Note: we have all documents intact all letters from my company, payment receipt for the conference, invitation letter, bank statement both company and my personal statement.
She didn't give us any chance to present any of the documents.

What really went wrong in case of another time.

Sorry my brother. A vacation package best suits your application. Since what you intended going for was official ( i.e, from your employer or company) you shouldn't have involved your family in it. I'm sure, had you applied alone as also mentioned by a moniker earlier, your visa would have been approved. Joining your family in the application triggered a japa suspicion...my opinion. I don't mix business engagements with my family each time I'm applying to any country for a business visa. We'd rather apply as tourists if we must travel together.

If you must apply with your family next time,.let it be purely on vacation or visit to a relation who is capable of sponsoring your visit and let your application fall within the time kids are on holiday in order to justify the reason for taking them along on your proposed trip. Good luck!

That 300bn spent on this year's election was a total waste. INEC for the first time in the history of Nigeria became dependent on the political moneybags. Jega really did a great job. Where Baba won in 2015, no magomago. It was a clear victory. Where he lost, he lost cleanly, nobody added to his votes. Shame on the inec.

Even though I supported the APC in 2015 because of buhari, I always maintained that, the pdp was...and still is the only truly democratic party in Africa today. If they can jettison some bad eggs in their midst, they'd bounce back and lead us aright. They should groom the likes of Makinde and Soludo. We don't need the crop of chop and clean mouth politicians we have today.

Had that selfish Dubai man allowed Peter Obi to run under the PDP and wike too decided to sheath his sword, the PDP would have returned to power today with ease. Anyone in doubt should add up Obi's votes to that of Atiku and compare with that of Tinubu.

Since you are in the UK on a student visa, your work isn't all that relevant. You will need a letter from your school that states you are a student in good standing/enrolled when you go for the interview, and your financial stuff. I would say being a student in the UK gives you a pretty decent chance already. It usually helps if you have a valid visa for another western country too. I got a US visa in Switzerland as a student and it was nowhere as stressful as it is Nigeria. VOs were much nicer too.

Hmm. Switzerland is such a decent country. I always reminisce my experience in Luzanne and Montreaux..that long Geneve lake wink

. But living standard there is pretty high.

That said, every applicant's chance of getting a visa lies on them. The purpose of your trip is of high priority to them, irrespective of the country you're applying from. Remember every visa applicant is presumed an intending immigrant by VOs so, the onus is on applicants to prove otherwise...to prove they'd not japa. They may not even look at your bank statements during interview. People had been denied US visa at US posts in the UK before. I read of a few here on NL.

If they ask you of purpose of visit, don't just give one short sentence answer...expatiate. its your time which you paid for so, utilise it. They need to be convinced and a short sentence response isn't enough. 30 seconds is fine. The VOs ask questions for a reason, remember.

Do I look worried to you? Read my comment once again. There's nothing much to say cos the matter is already in court. Only illiterates would be bothered over an issue already being handled by court.
That LG is the largest LG in the entire south-south and south east region which was previously declared for Tinubu. I don't care who wins, provided there some transparency in the whole process. If you claimed you won an election, it should be convincing.

They're still there. Igala people gave it to Dino. He got most of his votes from them, being the largest ethnic group in the state. Only Okun people couldn't have got him the ticket. It would have been the Okun's turn now, had Abubakar Sudu not died cos his running mate would have succeeded him. The reassurance came during Bello's reelection bid , Smart Adeyemi, Yahaya Bello's deputy, Onoja said okun would be considered, should they support bello when the people said he did nothing in their region and bello had failed woefully, generally.

Onoja fell out with Bello along the journey into their 2nd term. He was visibly absent in almost 4 years in the Bello-led administration, according to a friend who is serving in Bello's government. Igala still feels Audu was killed to smite them. If Dino can pick his running mate from among Igala as speculated, not only will the likes of Onoja support him. I don't see Adeyemi supporting Bello's candidate either. If SDM can carry everyone along, it would be an easy win.for him. Bello don spoil ground for the new guy for kogi. Okun and Igala's votes with a little from ebira would take Dino to the Lord Lugard House.

Smart only wanted to return to the upper chamber cos he was already broke. Him, family , children, esp his socialite daughter had squandered all he made from politics as senator so he desperately needed to go back and steal again hence, those empty promises.

Kogi will wise up some day. A state so rich in Mineral resources and tourism yet, so poor due to the short sightedness of their corrupt leaders . Bello is a bad example of Nigerian youths.

Visit DIFF Medical centre at Gudu, Abuja. It's the best and largest private hospital in the country with good pay. Its also modern facility where you can enjoy all the basic facilities you needed. Ask of Dr Sheyi and explain to him.

NB: Being a paediatrician/neonatologist or Obstetrician/Gynnecologist would be a plus. Good luck!
