Bashet:I heard you. The fact that the apc was the ruling party and fully on ground in osun as claimed but still lost all seats to the dancing governor's party was a proof of his victory and popularity in the state. It's amazing to note that same people at the federal working with adeleke and against Tinubu weren't those who cleared the state, senate and assembly seats for the pdp. It was same osun people who did that. Where was the apc in the state when all these happened? |
Bashet:Yes, over voting on both sides but Inec had said all their results had not been fully uploaded as at the time the case was filed at the tribunal. Even till now, over a month after the Presidential elecrions had been held, only 94% of results have hit the irev portal so far. If you're loved in your domain as a politician, people would overwhelming vote you and thats what happened to adeleke. You can't say because Adeleke won massively in all the Ede LGAs, people overvoted for adeleke as against oyetola. |
Bashet:Nothing Will change. I used to think the election was truly rigged until after the outcome of the recent general elections in which Adeleke won all the seats for the PDP, including presidential elecrion. What were the apc doing while all these were happening in a state they claimed they won? That's my question |
Dtruthspeaker:I've just advised you on what to do. You won't get killed for being emancipated. Gd night |
Heavensent01:Terrible |
Na wah oo. He's won already so, why assassinate him? |
Dtruthspeaker:My advice if at all you'd take it...grab a copy of the bible, read and undestand |
Thanks for sharing this. NOA, the agency thats suoposed to be in charge had become a lame duck. People get infected daily but the government doesn't seem to care with the necessary awareness campaign. All they're after is how much they can steal. Amazingly, government officials spread the virus like wildfire. The rate of spread is worrisome nowadays. If you're one of those having unprotected sex and changing women like clothing, you're susceptible to contracting it any moment. Be safe always to avoid "had I known" |
Dtruthspeaker:If those revelations do not come to pass, then Christianity and the Bible, the only Holy Book which others emanated from, is useless. they just must come to pass. We ain't seen nothing yet, lol |
delpee:Yes, I passed there last year when makinde was working on the bus interchange at the iwo Road, coupled with the construction work going on at lagos ibadan expressway back then, which caused a heavy traffic around that axis in which people spent hours and even slept overnight. The ikoyi axis , up to a village called aba ero omo isn't that good. But the moment you hit a place called Site 1, you're good to go. You'd also get to site 2, then an OPC check point. From there to the road constructed by Dangote, which leads to Ijebu igbo, I think ojowo side. From there to ago iwoye, then you can find your way to lagos from there. If you drive an SUV you'd not feel the stress at all. Though the road isn't busy....somehow desolate but safe. Keep asking for a direction or activate your Google map so you don't miss your way cos there are a lot of T-junctions on the way as you go. |
TruthsFM:You can pass there to Oke Ila( Ila Orangun) and from there to Ekiti. We went for a community Healthcare project in that area years back. We entered ekiti from there. We linked some farm settlements like Oke Igi, Arapatę, Ayegbaju, Adurumi Ode/Adurumi Igbo, oyi kaka, oyi alabari...all annexes of an Ekiti Town called Ipoti. We now got to the Ipoti Ekiti, from.there to Ijero and Ado Ekiti. If our leaders could do the right thing, developments will reach everywhere in no time. That's why i always talk about ambode and am glad dapo abiodun won in Ogun once again..these 2 guys have linked up their states with great road networks such that, anyone living in Ogun won't have to pass toll gate anymore cos of the good road networks in that axis. At times, I'd not know when I enter Ogun.from lagos and vice versa. Many still don't believe one could actually enter Ogun state from osun without passing through oyo state. It's possible through Ikoyi Town in osun state. The road leads to ijebu igbo. |
Uncle Ayo, the flip-flopper. He was hailing Tinubu's victory thinking he'd escape justice for his corrupt practices . I wish buhari could do a 3rd term. He's the only one who can deal with these foolz decisively. Fayose under Tinubu-led administration wouid be free for life, God forbid 🚫 Baba made a you-turn immediately after he was arraigned in court. Hahahaha. |
t2luv1:Great! More wins guy. I may even know you cos of the primary school you attended. That was my route. I spent years at Agbeja Street, imalenfalaafia,.oke ado near Nigeria tribune, when going towards Idi Opę end. I gained admission same year as you...1995/96 but before then, I worked at Odusote Bookstores at oke bola. Its only in Nigeria we celebrate degrees. Degrees or grades aren't true tests of human capabilities. There are 3rd class graduates who are far better than lots of first class holders. I almost made first class...all those I was teaching in school in those days made first class. One thing used to happen to me. Once the exams was approaching, I'd fall sick and be unable to concentrate. In fact, I could forget all I was taught. I'd struggle to answer some questions. In my secondary school days, it was like that. I gained admission with combined waec results while those I taught cleared their papers at a sitting. After I graduated,.I outlived those challenges by the grace of God. Both home and abroad my post-graduates were super. I chose to return to Nigeria ftom US after my studies, doing my own business as well. Nigeria is a training ground. That's why dull students here always blaze trails when they get there cos the environment they find themselves encourage them a lot. |
People cant proudly be be flouting their degrees anymore cos education in Nigeria is so useless. My friend's brother is in 300L in a university in Europe and he's been on an excursion to America twice , Solicon Valley and another Tech destination. Meanwhile, lecturers went on strike for not allowing Nigerian students experience this and lecturers couldn't update themselves anymore on research works overseas which they could have come back home.to impart and some illiterate youths were busy condemning that? If you have the opportunity to japa and further your studies overseas, don't hesitate to do that. I know of a guy who had a good grade in an engineering course in Nigeria and left for Germany to start from 100L over there, now he's in 300L. He said he just realised he wasted 5 years in Nigeria doing nothing. He's been in Canada once and another EU country from school on excursions. Sadly, those politicians the illiterates are running after have their children schooling overseas. They'd end up coming back becoming their ruler. |
absoluteSuccess:Oh, well! Suffice it to say i read widely and I do understand where the problem of Nigeria emanated from...sentiments. I read Ademola Ademoyega's book as far back as 1996, when many of those urchins defending nonsense were still not born. Unfortunately, many of them are bereft of historic formation of Nigeria. Their slavemasters do know this. I've recommended that Book... Why We Struck here many times so people could read and learn. My uncle from my material side ( my grandma's only son) who hailed from ekiti lost his life in that war. My grandma was from a town near Aramoko Ekiti. I've made my voice heard. One thing is clear here...this generation is not ready to learn yet. The day tribalism is nipped in the bud, we'd see true progress in Nigeria. It seems that independence was ill-timed sef. Before 1960, wherever you are, you could be whatever you wanted to be, irrespective of ethnic or religous affiliations. Imagine, some people calling me ipob, ode, etc just because I didn't vote or support their candidate. So, what name would I now call them for not supporting mine? . That's the main problem on ground..sadly my yoruba people leads in this nonsense. Sensible yorubas have stood up against this nonsense..I read Simi's comment and shook my head. See the way the poor girl was being attacked like when a cat attacks a rat. Those who rank second on tribalism are the igbos. Hausas are so neutral and we could see that the way they voted in the recently conducted elecrions. They're the most mature in Nigeria in politicsSee two brothers supporting different candidates without attacking each other. They'd say its your luck today, it would be ours tomorrow. We claim to be more mature but keep intimidating and Killing our people in each election period with mess attacks up north. Like I've always said, the people's choice out of sentiments or tribalism would either make or Mar them. I am not a politician, neither do I benefit anything from them. I pray God keeps being my source of sustainance. That is enough for me. I was in my house when SFEH, our French partner says we should go to oyo state to see makinde and help rescue their moribund health sector via the French loan which the state sought through MOFA. I asked myself, how many of those killing themselves over this man had this opportunity to see him? Proverbs 8:16 says , a man's gifts.makes rooms for him and brings him before great men. If you deserve my vote and support, regardless of your tribe or religion, you have my it. I'm an advocate of good governance. I'd voted obj, yaradua, buhari...I even voted him when he lost in one of his contests and when he eventually won in 2015. He's muslim and fulani. We should nip tribalism in the bud. Ireti Kingibe is a yoruba woman, who was elected senator of the FCT. I hail from a Muslim background from my maternal side in Lagos but grandma was a Christian from ekiti. Dad is a Christian. So, why would I now vote based on religion or sentiments as against merit? We have yorubas, igbos and other tribespeople in the UK and USA government elective positions. Merit should be our watchword. The head of technical unit in my company is Ibo from Urata in Imo. I picked him over my tribe's guys cos the recruitment company said he fared better. Our accountant is from Kwara, Ajase Ipo. If we can run the government like we run our own business, Nigeria would move forward. Enough said. |

Reality3080:Tani ibo and who told you I care? Enjoy the slavery to the fullest. We shall see who's ibo in less that 4 years to some |
Ishitinyourlife:I join you on this. The majority of those touts are here on NL. Many of them live in their parents' houses , still being fed. They're the poorest of the poor like I've always said. There's no name they didn't call me cos I chose not to support their thug and drug baron mentor. He's not a true representation of yoruba race and that's why i wasn't pained when GRV called him an afonja. He ought to have rephrased it as afonja the drug lord. He deserves worse insults. The call of Afonja whom the urchins generalised as an insult on yorubas was not even the father of yorubas. Afonja was like you and i who sold his territory to alimi, a fulani man out of stupidity and foolishness. I don't even see tinubu being sworn in, come May 29th. Argue this later, dear urchins. Had GRV called oduduwa name, I'd have picked annoyance but he never did that. To all the igbos here in lagos, brace yourselves. Nobody can intimidate you. When the chips are down, they'd pick race. Na only mouth dem get. I've learned a lot from you guys, resilience, making the impossible possible, doggedness and ruggedly business minds, etc. There's a proverb which says if you can't beat them, you join them. Kudos to you guys..please don't relent. You have a right to vote your candidate just like those touts are doing. Before tinubu became governor in 1999, nobody saw igbos as a minority in lagos. Check history. Awolowo never behaved this way. Like I've always said. In as much as tinubu remains relevant, the status quo will be there. The race has just begun. Please don't give up. GRV isn't the issue here. Jimmy Agbaje was also called names. They said he's an igbo agenda. Any candidate not endorsed by tinubu always has setbacks. Igbos are always their headache. They keep selling their lands to igbos who always had good money to buy them and after they've lavished the money, they then come back to attack you out of envy. What a generation of baastards they are. Awon omo oninakuna. I visited Abule Ado recently and was shocked. See exotic houses springing out there all owned by igbos. A slum turned city. Ago Okota too was once like that..Igbos came and filled it up and made it habitable. Omo onilęs were busy selling it at high prices with nothing to show for the money. If you leave Lagos, our revenues will drop and our people Will suffer. People will lose their jobs cos government can't run the affairs of state on budget deficit. I'm a believer of God and I believe you'd all live to form your own country someday as prophesied. I won't say what would happen to Lagos and other places. But please while we're Still together. Let peace keep reigning. |
DontBullshitMe:Like I've always said. The north understand how to play politics much more than us down south. They hardly snatch ballot boxes kill opponents or intimidate voters..they don't make noise. They vote you if you deserve it and dump you like rags if you don't. Kudos! |
ignis: |
dustmalik:That's a flawless victory. You don't have to deploy thugs to attack voters or snatch ballot boxes if you truly merit people's votes. Makinde is loved in Oyo by young and old and its because of the great job he's done. I hope he continues now that he's won a reelection and luckily, he has no godfather so he will definitely do much more |
BennyDGreat:Yea. |
God1000:That's for those who want it to destroy their lives individually. These politicians they're supporting don't give a hoot about their existence. Don't be surprised to see GRV and Obi in pictures with tinubu at a gathering tomorrow. They all know how to catch cruise with their slaves. |
Iamgrey5:All thanks. Hope you too can get a life right? Good luck to you. |
BennyDGreat:True. The Aboru canal has been completely abandoned |
Afikoo:The way Mr Ebeano ended his political relevance is worrisome and sad. He must be made to face the music for his offence. Ado Doguwa too won't go unpunished |
Iamgrey5:Let me answer you I registered to vote in Alimosho. That's my LG and where I was born. That's where our family house is. I don't have to tell you where I live in lagos even though i just built another house there. I don't hide. Im transparent and anything i say here i backed with verifiable facts. Tinubu votes in ikeja where he grew up before moving to bourdillon. He goes to Ikeja to vote always, just the way I do. On whether I'm from edo and/or lagos, check my profile, it hasn't changed I don't have a known fan here and none can say he/she has met me in person. I remain anonymous Please can you show me where I said I'm from oyo? If you fail to do this, you may just be unnecessarily ranting and one of those I was referring to... |
Karemarealty288:Yes. See oyo state for instance, seyi has no godfather. See development. I went to osun recently on site inspection somewhere in Ila. See roads...this guy called Adeleke is a workaholic, no godfather. I'm always an advocate of good governance, irrespective of party. Give to your people what's due them and see God bless you. Money isn't only a source of blessing. Long life and good health will be added. No human has control over that. There's a guy in abia called Otti. He'd do wonders if he wins. I had known him long before being in politics |
Femaleoutfit:Be calm and hope on God dear. The VOs are human and always considerate too. Nobody is abive mistake |
I call them poorest of the poor. I went to see seyi makinde during covid with our partner from MOFA and SFEH to revive the state's moribund health sector through loan from the French government. I'm not from oyo, we just wanted to help. These tribalists are always at the receiving end of the government's bad policies. They'd learn the hardest way. I'm just glad makinde won cos he's one of the few who are thinking right among the governors we have today. We're still reviewing our plans to assist oyo health facilities. Most of us clamouring for good governance don't benefit from the government. When we try to rescue them from slavery, they attack us and call us names |
flourishing247:Good advice there. DIY. Most of the visa applicants are even far more knowledgeable than those agents they engage, but they dont know . I can't imagine engaging an agent to fill out my form or arrange my application for me. USA visa is one of the easiest in the world with less documentation, unlike schengen, provided you follow due process honestly. Since I've been traveling in 2004 to US and same country's being my first Visa ever on a Virgin passport, I've never been asked of my bank details , employment letter, even though I always had them handy, only my invitation with passport and subsequently, drop box with DS160 and passport only.DIY and wait for any appointment scheduled or available to you...it will surely come. These people you're seeking an entry clearance to visit their country take their time, they're never in a hurry so, why should you be...or be desperate, as an applicant? In as much as they can waive some little mistakes, they don't joke with them as well and that's why they've always advised you on their website, DIY and refrain from engaging agents. No matter how busy I could be, I must fill out my form by myself and at times, it takes me 2-3 weeks cos i always take my time to avoid issues. I'd fill and save, to continue another day I'm always not comfortable hearing that some people engaged an agent or their agents made mistakes on their DS160 cos of the experience of someone close to me. He was banned for life cos of some conflicting information an agent inputed on his DS160. It took him 13 years to have his passport stamped with another B1/B2 visa after the removal of his permanent ban by the US AJ. On the day of his interview, the VO spent close to 20 minutes with him, asking questions and listening to his story. He now applied for a waiver of the ban on his behalf, telling him the US home office would contact him with the waiver application made on his behalf and could be either positive or negative. It's a rare favour cos he had lost hope already. He's been to other countries since the ban took effect, except USA. He got a.mail one day by the lagos NIV that the waiver had been approved. It was like a dream. We all rejoiced with him Please, anyone reading this should learn. Good evening. |
