Desperado jagabani |
We need military here and am glad the FG is already considering this option. The forthcoming election is unusual. No joy in the APC's camp right now. Tinubu was in owerri yesterday, campaigning, no single individual was attacked. He was even given a chieftaincy title as seen on the channelstv. Election no be war my people. The military would teach whoever misbehaves next week the sense of a lifetime |

How I wish this man had been so active when bandits were killing his people. Now the masses know their worst enemies- the politicians whom they gullibly run after |
Successkay12:Sorry oo. I do transfer to them using my app there's mobile phone in every home today . Via the USSD, you can send any amount to anyone. That said, the suffering affects everyone but the alternative channels are also there. I've never sent my parents cash but transfer. That makes some people more vulnerable than others. I expect normalcy to be restored soon. God bless Nigeria |
Haaaa. El-Rufai will faint today. Where would he keep the whopping 20bn naira in his vault bayii. Na to burn dem for inside zaria forest. Chaiii. If you see any PSP truck coming out of bourdillon from today in numbers, its not sewage dem go pack oo. Na old notes. To all Nigerians suffering this, I apologise on behalf of the CBN and FG. You're not alone, I'm also among those feeling the heat. Buhari had done 2 wonderful things which was why I voted him in 2015, given his antecedents but he's acting late. Well, better late than never shaa.. who says again that Buhari doesn't know what he's going? . I wish the indomie generation supporting nonsense witnessed his rule in the 80s. The 2 wonderful things he did were...1) Reassurance on free and fair election by embracing BVAS 2) Naira redesign to cut their ill-gotten health to size. I keep saying this...Nigeria isn't a bad country. But the choices we make in electing bad people in government out of sentiments keep denting our image as a nation by allowing bad people to continue to hold sway. We will get sense someday. |

Emefiele wan destroy the empire by faya, by force |
GeneralPula:PDP will never attack LP for whatever reasons. None of their media aides had talked ill of the LP so far. Even during the 2m man march for Obi here in Lagos, LP supporters were attacked in oshodi and other areas. Google is your friend. Only APC is a party that doesn't tolerate. I remember the Lagoon threat by Oba Akiolu abi the King too is a pdp member? Stop backing what's not right. |
XLence:They've always been calling me Edo, Ibo,etc despite the obvious because they hate the truth. I don't respond to their posts anymore. All i crave is a progressive Nigeria. You see, truth is bitter they say. Every truth said must be met with harsh words and bitterness. Only a tribalist would say my post makes no sense. |
This season of election had taught me a lot, especially since the beginning of the electioneering campaigns. Most people have chosen to tow the path of sentiments...or call it tribalism in supporting their candidates. We've heard all the candidates speak during their campaigns and their words carried a lot of weight. Tribalism is the problem of Nigeria, not leadership per se. This has always influences our wrong choices when it comes to leadership. Unfortunately, all tribes are guilty of this menace. When Atiku said openly that the north needs a northern president and not a Yoruba president or an igbo president, what does that mean? He said it openly in English so, no need to quote him out of context. Is he now expecting the same Yoruba and igbos to vote him after the unfortunate comment? Only an illiterate of the mind would do that. They say words are like eggs. Kwakwanso also launched a word of attack on the LP. He said Obi, a Christian can't be voted in the North that is predominantly Muslim but now, he's talking as if he regretted not allowing the merger work. You may say his comment is religiously sentimental in nature but it still stems from tribalism. In 2019, Oba Akiolu made a disparaging comment on igbos here in Lagos about the lagoon thing. A candidate of igbo extraction came to Lagos last sat to campaign and thugs began attacking his supporters, smashing their vehicles' windscreen. As a member of the emergency team, I interviewed one of the victims who was soaked in blood how it happened. He said they saw LP vest which his group gathered money to print on him and the boys started attacking him. Guess what my people? He's a Yorubaman. I wrote down his name before I attended to him. There's a yoruba proverb which says, Ti a ba soko loja, ara ile ęni lo ma ba. This literally means, if we throw a stone in the market, it will hit your relation. To the attackers, they had hit an igbo man supporting Obi, just imagine. When we gathered at the Lekki toll gate in 2020 in a protest to condemn police brutality, they said they were igbos, despite seeing the names of all tribes on the list, including Muslims who were seen praying at lekki on a Friday. The last time I checked, na our people be the most victimised. Bola Raheem , RIP. She was a fresh and most recent victim Where does this lead us, my people? Yesterday, Jagaban was live in Owerri. It was like a carnival. They even gave him a chieftaincy title. In all these, there was no incidence of violent or reprisal attack on any of the APC supporters. No smashing of windscreens. Obi came to Lagos and Oba Akiolu said he's not around when they paid homage to him at his Iga Iduganran Palace. We need to end this, if truly we want Nigeria to move forward. I'm not talking of social media bully on candidates, which is a norm globally during electios. Obituary, druggie, atikulooter, etc . It happens even in America as advanced as they are. I was there when trump was elected. They mocked this man openly by wearing his head and dressing nude with his manikin. That's not what I mean by tribalism. Until we change our mentality and embrace the spirit of oneness, Nigeria isn't going to progress. God bless Nigeria. |
They held their rally peacefully in the south east yet, no single incidence of violent attack or smashing of wind screen. If it were to be here in Lagos, they'd have unleashed their dogs on innocent people. I'm beginning to reason which tribe is actually tribalistic in Nigeria. We need to change our ways. Truth is bitter |
PrinceOfLagos:In Pastor Adeboye's words... God hasn't told me there would be election yet ![]() |
Wike, supporters and his house helps have access to one vote each. They can't compell rivers people to vote a particular candidate. Rivers is fully obidient. No be me talk am, na the indigenes talk am |
Go out there and vote them out. Its going to be a tit for tat scenario next week. If they seized your okada which is your source of livelihood in the last 4 years and you still want to vote same people for whatever reasons, your brain needs diagnosis You can't ride a napep in Lagos freely in the approved routes despite obtaining all the necessary legal papers. The majority of oluomo boys won't allow you cos they own over 1m napeps stationed at the various bus stops in lagos. They must load before you. Isn't that frustrating? There's one man called Istijabar who happens to be one of the head thugs in lagos. He owns over 10k napeps alone and they still want you to come out and vote their candidate while they keep taking your food away from you. No be curse be dat? |
Welcome to the cradle of Yoruba, Mr president |
Another reason many voters will angrily shun some politicians in this election is the covid-19 palliatives which they deliberately hid from beneficiaries (the masses) nationwide. Which were later looted by same. Lagos had the largest stock of such palliatives in the various warehouses. Would sanwoolu say he's not aware of such practice? We even saw some politicians in lagos distributing them as their birthday gifts. We will never forget such mistreatment. These people are wicked They can do anything to retain their seat this time. Wicked souls |
Who no like beta tin |
Na God tell you abi you're jist guessing ![]() |
Carry your bigotry commot for here. What's supposed to be paramount to us is the liberation of the yoruba race from the bondage of fulanis, a minority ethnic group in Nigeria whom our forefathers had sold us to. They picked Lawan instead of Tinubu despite his efforts in installing buhari but before the latter could be allowed to have his way, they dictated to him on whom to run with him and he accepted without raising any objection. Jonathan would have broken the jinx but same Tinubu shuned him and went to his slave master and picked buhari. Between Jonathan and Buhari, whose government is now more corrupt? I leave you to decide on this. That man who stole over 100bn naira is still a freeman today. The vessels of crude sold to China during the covid-19 lock down had been swept under the carpet. You'd be shocked how fulani would dribble Tinubu in this election. Attack me after 25th. Go and read the book titled WHY WE STRUCK written by Ademola Ademoyega. It was about the Biafran war. You'd realise the intention of the war, contrary to what some illiterates are speaking here and there. The intention was to free Awolowo and install him as president. They succeeded in freeing him while others imprisoned with him were killed in their various prisons. |
May whatever is good for Nigeria happen. If its not God's wish, it won't happen. |
This is one of a thousand reasons why I'm voting obi instead of Tinubu. By their deeds , ye shall know them. I see quality of a good leader in him. He doesn't talk anyhow, neither does he insult people, only issues-based campaigns. The first tribe to have proven they're not bigot is the igbo. They voted my inlaw obasanjo, even at the time whem we voted falae, our own. They did this twice. They would have voted the apga candidate instead, had they wanted to show loyalty to their own party too, just the way we did AD and chief olu falae. In the spirit of equity, justice and fairness, they deserve this turn and we are giving it to them. Urchins can vote tinubu. Nobody sent tinubu to spend Lagos money on electing buhari. That's his choice |
But why clowns and comedians com full apc like dis . Tinubu and his likes are the reason other tribes are calling us unprintable names. |
Parachoko:I didn't say all parts, but some volatile areas in the country. This time the election is seen as war between the igbos and yorubas by some blind people. See what happened last Saturday alone. It was scary. If such couid happen during a campaign, you can imagine what would now happen on the 25th. Our uncle went to the east to campagn and he received a rousing, warm welcome, no single attack was reported. Last sat attack shows how desperate some people here in lagos are. Election kii she ogun naw |
EMPEROROFDONBAS:No, it was the other way round. Google it, if in doubt. Ballot boxes were snatched in the presence of the police but police couldn't do anything. They also dispersed voters after attacking few. I watched it as reported by Olu Phillips of channelstv back then. You just Google it |
Parachoko:This time around, it won't. Even in 2019, Ago-okota witnessed attacks by thugs |

Bornbiafra:Elections will hold. Military will he deployed to volatile and violence-prone regions. They'd be at polling centres but keep a distance to hack up the police so people wouldn't be scared. We need military in some areas like Lagos, Imo, Anambra, kaduna, Plateau, nasarawa, Borno and benue states |
Urchins are at it as usual. They'd wait till eternity for that bullion van ![]() |
Sponsored defection it was. We know them. I was in kogi in the past week. I met an igala guy who said all their LGAs in Igala land are obidient, except Okene where yahaya bello hails from and koton karfe. He also said a good number of okene is PDP. Next week election go sweet wella |
Adebola314:Don't worry. When another party takes over lagos, which is inevitable in near future, many of you would not realise how much tinubu had milked us in Lagos. Did I hear you say he made governors? Why did he want to sack fashola ahead of his 2nd term bid? Had lagos not dared him, he'd have removed him. Now, he's claiming his glory. He succeeded in removing ambode. Go and ask why he removed him. Amazingly, he's also claiming his glory. Had the duos not resisted his authoritarian and corrupt orders, they'd not have achieved so much. Visit all the local governments in lagos and point to what sanwoolu has achieved, compared to fashola and ambode. |
. It isn't easy to sell a bad product. I can understand |
