You can't preach this in the north, where someone like Ado Doguwa of kano who had no other means of livelihood than politics is bragging over 30 children. Let them lose power and see how poverty would bombard the entire family cos the money stolen won't be there forever. People should ask MKO's family. Despite being one of the successful families in Nigeria at a time, they tasted poverty. One of his sons was caught up in a fraud of over 30m naira some years back. What's 30b naira sef, when his dad was alive talk less of 30m? It took the efforts of those his dad had helped to pay that money. We need to begin to teach these people some sense. You keep giving birth like rats yet, your region remains number one in the world on poverty and out of school children list. This was what Sanusi Lamido preached against and they removed him unceremoniously. I keep saying this, if care isn't taken, we'd lose our giants of Africa status to a mushroom country in near future. Anyone who has been to Rwanda would relate. See Niger, I'm short of words. Go to Niger Republic, an arid country today, the rate of development there is so high. Does anybody know Niger had a functional refinery where Nigeria imports petrol from? Nigerians are busy investing in Niger as I speak. Though an Islamic country, its one of the most peaceful nations in West Africa. Most of their people doing gateman and maiguard job here in lagos have returned home. There must be a change of leadership next year. We can't continue like this. |
Where is there so much noise about somebody whom they claimed didn't have structures? There must be something unique about this man. In my opinion, people like tinubu, atiku, swore should have attracted so much attention. Just do a topic on Peter obi on twitter or NL, in less than one hour, apc and pdp dogs would bombard the threads like kilodeee ![]() |
Not all northerners are supporting Atiku...maybe you're saying this cos Atiku na your man. I know lots of northerners, both Christians and Muslims alike, who are supporting Peter Obi and Tinubu as well. Don't let anyone deceive you OP. Northern votes will be shared among the 3 of them. Southern Kaduna used to be unrepentant pdp members and supporters since 1999. Last night while watching channelstv, they openly supported and endorsed Peter Obi, an igboman for that matter. |
QuotaSystem:Neither Tinubu nor Atiku would get baba's type of popularity and votes in the entire North next year. The northern votes will be shared among Tinubu, Atiku and Obi. Lagos that you mentioned will be the most interesting of all. Prior to 2019 elections, people said apc would clear Lagos votes but this never happened. Osinbajo was still claiming lagos that time. Osinbajo lost his polling unit, likewise Sanwoolu to the pdp. Check the records if in doubt. After delaying the results for weeks, the difference between apc and pdp was still slim, in a state of over 20m population. What does that mean to you? I have a friend who had never voted since 1999 but said he'd vote this time. There are many others like him. The 2 bullion vans filled with cash hauled into Tinubu's bourdillon mansion on the eve of election didn't do any magic. See osun polls and the money wasted in mobilising crowd and printing souvenirs including vests and caps. Without the BVAS, oyetola would have won. It will be so interesting. |
Something somebody like fashola should be doing. In fashola's voice, IMMB ( I mind my business). |
Nlanalyst:Good for you. So far Obi keeps being loved and supported by Nigerians, it doesn't matter if Obi is supported by any leader from.the SE or not. Even Pa Fashoranti, the immediate past Afenifere leader whom they claimed had endorsed tinubu had denied it. He said he only prayed for him. I live in lagos and as yorubaman, my vote goes to Obi. Its no more news on NL where I stand. |
hamedvision2030:Movie kę? This development should worry atiku and tinubu supporters but i know, they'd downplay it as usual...an ibo man being so overwhelmingly supported by northerners. There's hope for Nigeria. Only in 1993 did I witness this kind of support for MKO across board |
The majority side in the state have spoken. Datti-Baba Ahmed people in Kaduna North would complement their southern counterparts' votes. Lobatan |
They say we're no more campaigning but they've forgotten that we always lead while others are following us. We're busy strategising. We're not competing with anyone. |
Nobody is saying Obi would win kwara, kogi and nasarawa states but he will secure at least, 25% votes there...Nasarawa would be more than that. Obi will win Benue, Plateau and Abuja convincingly. Call me names if anything changes. I watched last night on channelstv where southern kaduna in the north west openly endorsed obi and said they'd never vote pdp again. Kaduna north is where Datti-Baba Ahmed comes from, where he's done very well as senator. Jafar is one of those underestimating Obi, from social media support base, to a candidate without structures and now, winning permutations. Everybody should better focus on how their candidates would get some votes because there's no amount of negative words would change obedients minds. We can only get more voters instead of losing voters. |
Lies, no more banditry in the NW according to apc |
Go back to sleep, maybe this time you'd hear the truth. Were you thinking of Tinubu before you slept that night cos at times, what you think of before you retire to bed would show up in your dreams eventually. God is not the author of confusion. The election which produced him as apc candidate had magomago inside. Those delegates he bribed confessed receiving 25k usd each. To make the matter worse, he went and picked a muslim running mate...God is God of equity, justice and fairness. Tinubu is directly the opposite. Someone is 86 years old yet, cut his age by 16 good years...I'm sure you know God detests lies. Everyone reading this should mark today's date. The next president of Nigeria is a younger fellow. I don't even know if its obi or someome else. Controversies will trail his victory cos they'd say they rigged the elections. They'd also claim hackers manipulated the result. They'd invite external bodies to analyse and investigate but they'd find nothing. |
PHIPEX:They did same 4 years ago. I remember that police spokeswoman who lied openly on a national TV that , on seeing hoodlums rushing towards the inec collation centre where cast ballots were kept, they shot in the air to scare them and suddenly, a bullet hit a generator powering the collation centre and caught fire and the fire now extended to the collation centre and burnt it down ![]() Adeleke won massively in that area. Urchins are evil and that's why I've been pleading with inec on their twitter handle to deploy armed mopol to lagos cos they'd want to act funny |
othermen:See you. So, eid holidays can be 2 working days while xtian will holidays be one day? That he's saying no holidays had been announced in their usual confused way doesn't mean the status quo won't be maintained. Its just too early to declare the holidays, that's my concern. When would the apc get sense? |
descarado:Don't tell anyone, 2023 will be so interesting, especially in Lagos. |
VinnyBaba:Obj and MKO were never in good terms. IBB once said Nigerians would be shocked if he mentions those behind June 12 annulment. Why didn't obj declare June 12 a democracy day and chose May 29th instead before buhari finally reversed it? |
In most countries outside, bankers don't even have time to sit. You stand from morning till you're closed for the day. Dereliction of duty is so common in Nigeria. Nothing like dignity in labour here. Go to Alausa Secretariat and other government institutions. If 9:30am never nack, dem no dey resume work and when they finally resume, as shoe sellers are entering, bag sellers would be exiting their offices, then gossiping till they call it a day. We need to get things right from next year onwards or we remain in same position |
ganisucks:Imagine...if they don't show up now, I wonder when they'd show up. Rallies have gone oast halfway already. I've not been seeing fashola too |
sukkot:Thank you. Enjoy your weekend |
legionISproteus:Enough said in my previous post. Happy weekend |
I guess as much. Sunday igboho followers could be behind the osun and ogun inec offices destruction . They've been saying no election in Yoruba land in 2023. Ipob too are doing their own in the SE |
sukkot:I've seen profile already. You're from where I'm also from and I need not ask further questions why you're so much on Obi . It's fine. The suspension on mismanagement of donated funds is a clear proof that LP won't condone nonsense. Ile la ti nko ęso rode, its a wise yoruba adage. If the party had been keeping quiet in order to bury the mess so people wouldn't talk, you'd still condemn LP for abhoring corruption and derailing from what they stand for. They're suspending some members for wrongdoing and you're rather condemning the act? Wonderful! The question on whether LP is collapsing or not will be answered after February 2023 polls. Adamu Abdulahi, the APC chairman was said to be super corrupt even with proofs yet, he was endorsed as chairman. After he became one, he was alleged to have mismanaged funds yet, they looked the other way. Ayu, the PDP chairman was accused of collecting 1bn naira by wike even with proofs and another hundreds of millions of naira, he's still the party chairman today, they're not talking about that. How would either the apc or pdp take office and truly fight corruption with all these gory stealing and corrupt practices? An accountant-general stole over 100bn under same apc and hes still walking the streets of Abuja a free man? On killings of LP members. The time God will expose the killers, from kaduna to the south is minus one today. The will of the people can never be suppressed. Bros, I'm not saying you shouldn't support or vote for whoever you want. That's why it's called an election. The time to convince people is over already. Good luck to all the candidates. |
legionISproteus:What a pity. You'd soon realise the fact before your very eyes. Truly people can have eyes and still fall into an abyss. You shall be emancipated. |
SmartPolician:Nobody is without flaws but Peter obi won't steal tax payers money. He's far more better than all the Contestants. The SDP guy too. If he can mend fences with Labour Party, they'd make a formidable team to lead Nigeria to her fair haven. Atiku and tinubu are what my people would call jęgudujęra, so are those following them. |
This guy is making sense gradually. Who advised him lately? |
legionISproteus:How would the words written in the book of revelation be complete, should they go by your suggestion? The bible also recorded that a lot of people would defer on this...that nothing is going to happen. I've been reading counter posts here already. No single word of God shall go unfulfilled |
God1000:Don't be deceived. Read your Bible if you're ever Christian. The end is near |
sukkot:Who initiated the movement of the loots? Our leaders of course. You can't accept my loot if I don't bring it to you. Whether I'm promoting Peter Obi or not, it doesn't matter cos all those points you raised are mere allegations of which Court had absolved him. He wasn't the judge at the court who said the allegations were false. In politics, there would always be enemies. How is contractor's money become Obi's money? Before the advent of the cashless policy, all governors and their agencies moved cash to pay contractors after due inspection was done. Same Obi was reported to the EFCC by his detractors that he stole Anambra money to buy his London home. He was on his way overseas when the efcc blocked him at the airport and asked him to respond to the petition submitted against him. How did the efcc know he was traveling abroad if not his detractors? In his usual habit, all his property documents over there were always in his briefcase. He showed them the papers of the said UK home which showed he bought the house 2 years before 1999, when democracy was restored. He stashed his money overseas but he built Fidelity bank from nothing to what it is today. He stashed his money overseas but the same man has one of the largest malls in Nigeria today. I guess you're one of those being fed with lies. Go and do your findings and if you can't, Google is your friend. Fake news can kill. |
Media sentencing |
Blame leadership for our woes. How can someone, I mean just a single individual steal over 100bn and he'd be walking freely on the streets after returning a paltry sum of 30bn? Most the loans received since 1960 had been diverted into individual accounts. Now, they don't even want to give us loans in cash anymore. Name your project and they'd fund it and deploy their people to do the work. They nonly give us 20% for admin and operational purposes. Once we get leadership right, all will be well. We sought independence so early, out of greed. See south Africa today, can they be thinking of japa-ing? I had a friend from that country. I asked him one day guy, you no dey ever think of going to the west on holidays? He said, just tell me what's in America or Canada which doesn't exist in South Africa? He said he's not going to waste his resources there. He loves SA. Colonialists ruled them for over a century and they also developed their country, making it their home. Look at our leaders since 1960, they stole our resources and stashed it in foreign accounts. People shouldn't be poor today if not for bad leadership. You see a former governor of a state owning 3 private jets which the richest man in the world doesn't even have. He's got no manufacturing industry yet, mumus are busy running after him. See abacha and his loots. Obasanjo came and our debt was written off. Obj himself took part of that loan as military head of state. Loan used in building the Third mainland bridge by IBB was among what was written off yet, we had oil which gave us billions of dollars annually. Check our debt profile today, its more that what was written off under Obj administration. After Peter Obi exposed them, see them ransacking the creeks. See massive revelations. Now, our output is above 1.6m barrels per day in crude export. They'd still loot the proceeds. Who are those stealing our crude? The same people we call leaders . Atiku was fingered in oil bunkering years back . A major news magazine published it yet, some people are still running after him after stealing so much. Nigerians are not ready for emancipation yet. There's another opportunity to make it right next year. It depends on you and I |
Urchins, urchins, urchins!!! |
