lhordspy:I hope you'd not cry tomorrow when you see us in our shirts saying LAGOS FOR PETER OBI. Watch out! Then you'd know you've been accusing those behind obidients wrongly |
haffaze777:The guy with plenty monikers , i hail you Mr saint. NL mods need to go after your likes for registering multiple accounts here . We know your type. I've known you for a while |
Amumaigwe:Don't mind hafeez, aka haffaze777 . He has plenty monikers on nairaland. I know him very well through his style of commenting. I don't know what he's using multiple monikers for. He's tackled me and challenged my state of origin here severally, hiding under different monikers. I think NL mods should begin probing people with different minikers by asking their motives for doing that here. I'm Yoruba by birth, my mum is Yoruba, a lagosian and I claim lagos. She hails from pa Jakande family and I've only been to Akoko Edo 4 times so far. We have all our investments in Lagos. My dad was even born here lol. So, by all standards I'm Lagosian, even more lagosian than Emilokan that he's blindly supporting. Tinubu wasn't born here. He came from Iragbiji in Osun state which he's not even denying on his Wikipedia page that he schooled in Osun but hid where in osun. Tinubu is lagos name not Osun. He adopted the name while i look real. My name is yoruba cos we hail from yoruba side of edo. If not for the river osę, we'd have been under Isua Akoko in ondo state cos my dad's town there speaks same dialect as isua akoko. The majority of those supporting Emilokan are from either osun or kwara state, only claiming lagos. We know them. The current deputy governor of lagos is from ogun state, his dad, a king in ogun died recently sef. Leave him and allow him to keep wasting his time. I tried explaining to you because you mentioned me. I've always ignored him |
It will be baba of rallies tomorrow |
haffaze777:Stop crying like a baby, halfaa with plenty monikers . You either forgot to dig my profile or you ignored it deliberately. Stop acting like a kid with your use of dirty words as always cos it won't change anything
|
Good! Keep it coming guys |
Nationalpikin:Yes. We actually wrote to the police, seeking protection. We don't trust Emilokan and his urchins. Before you know it, they'd say it's labour party that's causing chaos which they (the thugs) orchestrated by themselves. Remember lekki endsars? We were peaceful from day one, until Emilokan sent his thugs to disperse us and claimed its the protesters burning and destroying things. All we had was our flag, no guns nothing. You could see who were the enemy of state. We'd always be peaceful as usual. Each time we talk about who invaded oba akiolu's Palace and looted, singing in my language , they always shift goal post. |
We're ready. ![]() Urchins, stay away. No act of thuggery or huliganism will be tolerated. We've informed the police and other security agencies already. I'm saying this, in your best interest. |
See confused people. Are they pushing this man or he's the one pushing himself? He said on channels TV last night that he'd not appeal the judgement. He'd be disgraced once again, should he try it. This man has been there since 1999 oo. Not many heard about him until 2015. He wants to be in power perpetually. The way our politicians reason is baffling. No wonder our uncle too is saying oun lokan and atiku too is not retired yet. |
Difrent:Truly speaking, we don't need to import everything but you'd agree with me that there are things we can't produce locally and i cited apple and wine materials. Our soil can't grow them, except you want to install AC on farmlands, powered 24/7 with constant electricity. I remember a day I visited a town called Montreux in Switzerland by train from Geneva. I saw some plants looking colourful and binded with ropes. I asked my partners what it was and he said that plant you're seeing is used in making redwine. I saw it in frankfurt too. They can't thrive here. We'd end up wasting our resources ni. In that case, you can't avoid importing such. Just as you can't stop people from eating apple because we want to be self reliant. What the government has done over the years is place heavy import duties on such things. Apple is one of them. Quoting from your previous post For instance PO sees profit in importing which is cheaper than put ting up a factory that will employ these poor folks.......Obi brought in a brewery from Europe as previously mentioned and this had attracted thousands of employment. He was importing beer from them before they came to Nigeria. In addition, the federal government makes money from them in taxes, Anambra state too. I also mentioned erisco foods which came up as a result of his efforts. He told the man to stop importing and establish his tomato paste factory here. Then erisco was always going to Obi's Bank, Fidelity to borrow for import of tomato paste. Nigeria used to import tomato paste before erisco was founded. There are some goods we can't stop importing because we cannot produce them here. If Nigeria wants to invest in atomic energy tomorrow, we'd be importing uranium from Niger or Russia cos we dont have such here . Same applies to countries who don't have oil. America imports agricultural products too but mainly those that can't be grown on the American soil, likewise Europe. Every country has been blessed by God and this gives them comparative advantage over others. Nigeria is one of those countries. Obi's recent trips to the west were based on direct investments of those in the Diaspora, that's a step in the right direction. He's been to Egypt to find out how they have been able to generate up to 50kmw of electricity, etc. That's why I said obi speaks my language. This country is seriously yearning for development. To make this happen,we need a change of direction, not by embezzling or sharing our common wealth as seen today. Imagine Addo Dogowa bragging of 5 wives and 30 children. Is that an achievement? Our law makers feed fat for doing nothing. I don't blame the guy. The system encourages this. Ask him how many investments has he and how many are employed through those investments and you'd not hear any tangible thing from his mouth. If Obi fumbles( I hope he doesn't) , he won't come back for 2nd term. Same pvc used in electing him is what we'd use to show him the way out. We've slept for too long in this country. |
Old news! Court had ruled that we can hold rally but not at lekki toll gate or its environs. OP, this is stale naw |
ObamaMessi:Just thank God for your life OP. Igboro o ręrin. People are going through a lot. If you have a cover on top of your head alone, especially in Lagos, give thanks. I wish Pa Jakande had that chance to actualize his housing revolution in Lagos, by now, housing problem would have been a thing of the past. He did his best, died without owning a single helicopter May his soul continue to RIP. We miss him so much! This man built the largest housing estate in Africa in lagos in his time without borrowing and completed it in less than 4 years as planned, before Buhari's coup stopped him. Most of the lands earmarked for housing today had been sold and acquired by Emilokan and his goons. I remember where the current ikeja mall is sitting on today. It's well! |
This is coming after Dino mocked Tinubu for being absent from signing the peace accord, because there is no place for thumb print Hahahahahahaha ![]() Dino has baddest of all mouths Emilokan urchins and atikulated followers, just look at your people. Smh! |
I no wan quarrel after this solidarity walk oo, say some people no get the 2k they promised them oo. |
Difrent:I understand you. I was just trying to prove a point that, even though Obi imports, they're items which can't be produced in our environment cos of weather. He once imported beer too. But he thought instead of doing this, why not create employment by inviting these people to Nigeria and be brewing locally and he achieved that. Have you heard of Erisco Foods? Peter Obi is his motivator. He personally encouraged him to stop importing tomato paste and cite his own company in Nigeria. Erisco foods have been producing tomato paste in Nigeria for years. They're located at Oregun in Ikeja. I drive past this factory each time, to cut off awolowo way traffic. The man today is a multi billionnaire. Imagine someone donating 100m naira to communities every year. I won't be surprised if this man donates hugely towards Obi's campaign. Obi made him. If obi couid do all these as governor and within his own capacity, he would do more by driving into the country more investors at a bigger capacity bro. I'm not igbo but I believe in this man cos he speaks my language. We need to be productive as a nation. See apc and pdp today as they share money. This morning, Arapaja was in the news for returning 36m naira credited in his account by the pdp NWC. The other day, it was 1bn allegation by wike to Ayu. We can't develop in such a mess bro. Our politicians are eating our future away. |
descarado:Only bigots amongst us are pushing him. I'm lagosian and we'd deliver lagos for Obi. Don't worry. They can't win. That's why they went to court to stop our rallies in lagos |
Difrent:We don't produce apple in Nigeria and apple isn't for the rich. It costs less than the beer poor people drink to stupor and more nourishing to the body. You don't have to be a billionaire to either eat or import apple. That said, in response to your post on importation, don't forget he brought into the country foreign lager or beer manufacturer when in government. Nigerians used to import that beer before then. The beer is consumed in Nigeria and also being exported to Benin Republic and other African countries. He created enabling environment for innoson to thrive. The majority of innoson vehicles are for export to African countries as well. |
ribbit:Iwo ati awon ara ile rę ni werey. You guys can't utter a word without insulting. Show me where apple is grown in Nigeria |
That's what they understand by structure. That's why they're running after those thieves from the apc and pdp. You'll be retired perpetually next year. This we promise you all |
Be careful people. Let's not fall for ignorance..there are scammers everywhere. I'd verify this tomorrow |
Chaos14:How did you know? Do you know her? |
Tinubu can do anything to discredit the opponent. This Hamisu of a guy must have been heavily paid to do the dirty job. I remember a mole in the LP in lagos who was working for Tinubu codedly. The werey was sent packing sharpally |
Difrent:Obi imports wines apple and ketchup. Wine and apple can't grow well in our climate so, its in order. Or have you seen apple grow in any part of Nigeria before? Show me one, leaves used in making wine too. The man who experimented apple plantation in Jos ended up giving up cos of fluctuating weather conditions. You'd only find such in extremely cold regions. |
Fake news. He registered on NL today...I suspect one of the mods for doing this for traffic's sake . 4 kids @ 26 and you want people to believe this? Common! Not even in villages does this happen anymore. |
donphilopus:So, Wine and ketchup is what you term virtually everything, right? I can understand. Wine materials and apple can't thrive in our climate, just so you know. Go and check that. Ordinary toothpick, we import. We can produce it here |
Obi said a thing, which gave me hope about Nigeria.... PRODUCTIVITY No country survives without being productive. Oil money can't sustain us. See our currency today. We have vast lands all over the country but nothing is being grown there. Along Lagos Ibadan Expressway, Benin Ore Expressway, Onitsha-Enugu highway, Keffi-Jos-Yobe highway...in fact you could travel 6 hours along adamawa-taraba highway without seeing a single hut. It's all forest. Yet, we import virtually all we eat, including rice. The current administration closed the border for 2 solid years cos of rice import without making alternative arrangements to cushion the likely effects for the period. No agric loan to unemployed graduates , no farm settlements, no agric subvention, no skils acquisition programmes on growing improved yields of rice and modern production of same in place, etc. A reasonable government would go to Thailand and study their system. How they thrive in this business and used rice proceeds to grow their economy for decades etc. They just went and closed border claiming it would strengthen our naira. Yet, naira keeps depreciating. A dollar is 735 today. They kept shifting blames here and there for their failures and emefiele said it was aboki fx speculation that caused naira to keep depreciating. Aboki fx isn't there anymore yet, dollar rate hasn't stopped going up. In late 70s, Indonesia came to Nigeria to learn of how Nigeria did it. They came to learn of how to grow oil palm. Gen. Obasanjo was the head of state then. They spent some days and took some seedlings along. Today, Indonesia is the world largest exporters of Palm Oil. That's a serious-minded country. Shamefully, Nigerians import palm oil from Indonesia today. Na bad leadership cause am. OAU was built with cocoa proceeds, ABU with groundnuts and cotton, etc. The problem of Nigeria is leadership. The time to get it right is now. Our leaders caused all the divisions as seen today. We have all it takes to become a productive nation..massive and fertile land, population. In fact, most of the EU countries wished they had our kind of population. They'd have made the best of it. Each time I go to Germany, my partners always complain, that their workforce is filled with old people...ageing population. They apply fertiliser on every crop grown. Nigeria is just populated for nothing. My friend travelled to America some years back. We left together. When he got to America, he stayed. He was overworking himself, doing 2-3 jobs in a week. He broke down one day. I told him guy, you wan die ni? He said he's been counting celining for years in naija cos no job. He wanted doing farming but no loan from banks he doesn't have collateral. He said orę, ję kin breakdown jare (meaning friend,.let me breakdown pls) . You can now wonder how much he'd have made and contributed to the economy, had he applied same energy working for himself back home. Tinubu could have bragged of some development but the environment made it happen. He met those templates already in place. Virtually all corporate headquarters are in my state, oil and gas too. Was it tinubu who wooed them to lagos? What of SMEs? Gulf oil now chevron had been there since the days of Pa Jakande. He started and drew the master plan of the lagos literail they're talking about today. He wanted connecting every part of lagos with rail after completing the then largest housing in Africa. He finished the housing in less than 3 years and gave a timeline of 8 years for the lagos literail before buhari coup stopped him...he'd have achieved it. He opened up lekki and epe road. One of his estates is in same area till date in the area and bus stop called Jakande. He died without owning a single helicopter. Let tinubu go to Anambra and develop it too naw, a state where there was nothing before Obi came and turned their IGR around, a state with such a small population. Lagos was safer decades ago than it is today. Anyone who's fallen victim of attacks would bear a witness to this. Lagos development can be credited to the successive governors who had served here, not one man. I wish Buba Marwa had done 8 years in Lag. There'd have been discipline and far more development than what we see today. He remains my fav, after ambode. Vote Obi for a prosperous Nigeria. Ire oo! |
Channah1:Vote Obi and together, we can build a productive nation. Nothing bad if Nigeria is exporting rice like Thailand and cow milk like Holland. Our land good pass their own. In fact, you don't need fertiliser to grow rice in many parts of Nigeria. Indonesia came to us in the 70s to learn of oil palm and how Nigeria did it successfully. Obasanjo was the head of state that time. They took some seedlings along when going back. Today, Indonesia is the world largest exporters of palm oil . Shamefully,.Nigeria imports from them. I still find it difficult to believe Nigeria could be like this. |
Apexmoh:You need to purge your brain of some artefacts and interferences. They're affecting your sense of reasoning. See him saying by the grace of God. Maybe the kind of god you're referring to is different from the Almighty who created the heaven and the earth. If this is the God you're referring to, Obi will be president of Nigeria by His grace. All agitators need to be engaged in a dialogue. Sunday igboho who said yorubas must disintegrate with valid reasons, Nnamdi Kanu who said Biafra must come to stay, boko haram who said western education had failed them and they needed to establish a caliphate and a different country, Mend Agitators who said their land and water are in ruins, etc need to be engaged in a dialogue. Boko haram didn't come up overnight. See northern politicians, they give birth to 30,40,50 children and sponsor all of them with the money belonging to everyone in foreign universities...they keep erecting mansions and marrying more wives only to leave crumbs for their people to share. Why won't they kick? Obi is the only one talking like a true leader. Yaradua too talked about this. He was the president Nigeria never had. I remember the NDDC and amnesty granted to the Niger delta agitators. It's only in this apc regime we're seeing a governors and the president giving amnesty to the wrong people. |
IbadeHQ:See this one. Obviously you're ignorant in politics. Babayemi was working for the apc. https://businessday.ng/amp/politics/article/pdp-expels-babayemi-over-anti-party-activities/ https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2022/09/05/osun-pdp-justifies-expulsion-of-babayemi/amp/ |
Oyetola and his one million sans can now rest . Mandate fully restored. Adeleke, get to work. Don't disappoint your people |
Why's his shirt wet below? Abi na my eyes? Like he's wearing something underneath. His abdomen is bulging |
